    M.A.C. Fluidline

    Major eye popping color.

I usually use a black powder and angled liner brush to line my eyes but despite using a primer and makeup setting spray it would bleed or disappear by the end of the night or by the end of work. So, i thought i'd try something with more staying power. I hate liquid liners and pencil liners, they've always irritated my eyes or are too difficult to apply. MAC fluid line is increadible. It took a few tries to master application but once i got it i loved the look. It doesn't budge all day or all night with or without primer or setting spray. I still use and angled liner brush, and for a smokey eye i sort of lightly blend the top line into the shadow on my lids (you have to be quick before it dries!) It only takes a teeny tiny bit to line the whole eye, i barely touch my brush to the surface of the gel. This will last a very long time provided that it doesn't dry out. (btw i wear contacts and this doesn't irritate my eyes)

    Dior Diorskin Forever Compact

    My Holy Grail Pressed Powder.

This powder is awesome. I love mineral powder but find it a nuisance to take with me and i have yet to find a pressed mineral compact that doesn't contain crap ingredients or smells. I agree with another reviewer who said this powder looks like any other powder at first but then "melts" into the skin. I love that it has SPF. Mine has lasted about 6 months with daily use. Hasn't broken me out once. i've thoroughly studied comedogenic ingredients and picked this powder because it doesn't contain any, though if you're sensitive to sunscreen or fragrance it could give you a reaction. All chemical sunscreens make me breakout but this one hasn't, i'm amazed. Good job Dior.

Sally Hansen Nail Growth Miracle Serum

    Growth or just Strength?

I use this every other day (when i remember) I don't notice a difference in the rate of growth with my nails, but this stuff does strengthen them so they don't chip or peel, which let's me grow my nails longer. Not a complete miracle but I'll take it. It has a light shine that makes my nails look extra healthy.

    SmOOOOOOOOOOOOOOth skin here i come!

This is a great cleanser. It's not intended for everyday use, it will dry your skin out if you do. It's a great deep cleanser; i like using it every sunday night to wash off the weekends makeup and party grunge. Great bang for your buck, especially when you consider how much the average glycolic wash cost. This bottle lasts forever too. I've had mine for three months and it's still 75% full. It gives me squeaky clean smooth skin, and helps get rid of blackheads.

  • St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse

If you want a look that says "I've spent the past week in the Carribean" this is what you want. I've used the spray version and the lotion version, this one's my favorite; you're less likely to streak and it dries fast. I like the smell and so does my bf. This mousse isn't moisturizing at all so if your skin needs moisture apply it and wait a good half hour for it to sink in; St. Tropez makes and exfoliating gel and a lotion that are made specifically to aid the self tanner. Couple of warnings: one, wear gloves because this stains your hand+cuticles like crazy i even got the St. Tropez stain remover and it doesn't get it out of your cuticles, and two: Because this contains a bronzing agent in it for an instant brown look, it can stain your clothes and sheets. If there's a chance you may sweat within two hours of applying keep cool because sweat and water will spot your tan (I dripped water on my legs after washing my hands and ended up with white dots and tan legs lol)

Clarisonic Classic Sonic Skin Cleansing System

You're wondering if it's worth the money?

Ok if you're anything like i was you're looking at these reviews to try and figure out, is it worth spending $200+ bucks on a freakin' brush for my face??? My answer? YES!!!! i've hestitated to buy this thing for over two years now and i finally got it; this has been the best investment i've ever made into my skin. Since i started using it i haven't had a single zit, no breakouts, no clogged pores. My comedones were GONE by the third use. My skin doesn't look or feel congested anymore from excessive oil. I use the Mario Badescu enzyme cleansing gel so i'm not only getting physical exfoliation from the brush but "chemical" exfoliation as well from the cleanser. My skin has never looked so smooth. i bought the Pro set and i enjoy the body brush as well, my skin is smooth and soooo healthy looking, it's even helped with that "chicken skin" look i get on my upper arms.

  • L'Oreal Paris Healthy Look Creme Gloss Color

Overall and initially i really liked what i saw. The color came out great, my hair was super conditioned and shiny, not dry. When i washed my hair two days later you could see color in the water in the bottom of the tub, i actually expected that since this isn't a permanent dye. What i didn't expect was for the color to stain my pajamas since my hair was still wet. Having never used a non-permanent dye before i learned something, and it's good advice i pass on to you: use caution around fabrics while your hair is wet. My towel is stained, my pj's and so is my pillow case. Other than that little problem, the color is great, it conditions hair wonderfully. One more thing, the smell of the conditioner it comes with is a bit funky smelling. I'm going to try Clariol Loving Care next and see if that does any better.

  • Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner

    Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner

    Sensitive skin beware.

I chose this toner rather than the other glycolic toner mario offers since this one didn't contain alcohol. I was worried it wouldn't be strong enough but IT IS!!! My skin isn't super sensitive anymore like it was in my teenage years but this toner made my skin tingle and slightly sting. It stops once it dries and my face didn't get red. I love how it doesn't dry out my face, my skin looks extra smooth and pores are smaller. I don't use this daily, only when my skin starts to look a bit dull or congested (especially on the blackhead nightmare that is my nose) If you do have sensitive skin I'd be very careful with this and don't even think about trying the stronger one! (I love how glycolic acid makes my skin look and feel super smooth, it even helps with pore size; plus i have some acne scars and glycolic acid is recommended to help fade them)

  • Kerastase Bain Miroir

    Kerastase Bain Miroir

    TRY THE PIXELIST SERUM!!!

Ok, sorry i posted this here but totalbeauty doesn't have the pixelist serum up for reviews. I haven't tried this shampoo, (i'm hooked on another color protecting brand) but the pixelist serum needs to be raved about. My hair is super prone to breakage (hair all over me and my floors) i have long hair and the ends always get so damaged and dull it seems impossible to grow it out more. Plus it's super thin, i dye it dark just to add some thickness to it, only trouble is that dying it creates more damage, and therefore more breakage. So i've been looking for non-damaging hair color and my search has led me to semi and demi hair colors which only last between 6 and 28 shampoos. To save my hair from destruction i had to be willing to color my hair every 2 to 4 weeks since the color washes out eventually. So then my search led to me to products that would help keep my color from fading (especially since summer is right around the corner) and I was researching this brand (Kerastase) and came across their little vials that are used in their salons as treatments. They're ridiculously expensive in the salon so i turned to ebay and bought three vials for $23. It says to use them weekly but i only use them right after i rinse out my color. I pour the liquid into my own spray bottle since you usually don't get one on ebay unless you buy the whole box. My hair looks and feels amazing!!! My ends seem so much less damaged, the shine is freakin amazing, my whole head of hair is silky, shiny and healthier. The color lasts at least another two weeks. I haven't tried this with permanent hair colors but I'm sure the results are the same.

  • Pantene Pro-V Color Hair Solutions Brunette Expressions Conditioner

I first tried this at a hotel in vegas, it was in the bathroom in those cute little tiny sizes. My hair was pretty grungy looking and dull from the dry heat and all the smoke (not to mention dancing). I used both the shampoo and conditioner and let my hair dry naturally. I was amazed at how silky and shiny my hair was! It look liked i had blown it dry and straightend it. My bf kept touching it and telling me how good it looked. I bought the large bottles as soon as we got home!
