  • Jergens Natural Glow Firming Daily Moisturizer

I like the color gradient you get from this, no streaks and i didn't look like Snooky. I didn't notice much in the firming department but i wasn't expecting much from Jergens brand. the scent isn't overpowering. It's ok for a daily moisturizer when you need some extra color.

  • Nivea Sun-Kissed Beautiful Legs

I didn't notice any difference as far as my hair growing less or thinner. The formula left streaks. Wasn't orangey and softened my skin. Not my first choice in self tanners.

    Biolage Hydrasource Conditioning Balm

    Smells yummy, softens hair.

Reading the ingredients list there's not much "natural" stuff in it, which you would expect from a brand that has a leaf on it's bottles. I love the smell, and it softens my hair. I don't think it's worth the price however, pantene conditioners deliver the same results.

    Benefit BADgal Lash

    Ok for everyday

I got this as a sample from sephora, I was a little intimidated by the size of the brush at first but it turned out to be easier to use than anticipated. It gives a nice darkening and length of the lashes, nothing dramatic, not for an evening look. I've been using the sample as an everyday mascara since it just enhances my lashes. Super easy to smudge and runs.

    MAC 266 Small Angle Brush

    Furry Friend Friendly and stuff

First off i love that this has synthetic bristles, i've never liked natural hair brushes, they're too scratchy and irritating, plus they're not animal friendly. It performs like a champ, lines perfectly. Eyes or eyebrows, it has yet to let me down. Hasn't shed yet though mine's still fairly new. I saw another reviewer had posted she's had hers for years, so i'm pretty stoked that i won't need to buy another liner brush for years, well, unless the world ends next year. lol. :) but hey a least i will have perfectly filled brows and beautifly lined eyes when we explode, or drown, or the aliens come back.

  • Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Facial Cleanser

I have the Naturals Pore scrub which isn't listed yet so i'm posting here. It's quite powerful stuff. When using a salicylic cleanser i leave the product on my skin for a minute or two to allow the acid to work better (it's given me great results). The scrub, as well as it's sister cleanser, contain willow bark extract which is salicylic acid. I left this on a tad too long in the shower while shaving and my face was red for a couple hours, so use with caution. The scrubbing beads are super gentle but give the skin a polished look non the less. I prefer this to the St. Ives apricot scrub for blemish prone skin, as it's far gentler and doesn't cause redness (so long as your not an idiot like me and forget its on your face). The smell is divine. My one irk is the consistency of it, it's kind of like slippery mucus (gross i know!). But other than that the price is fair, the results are great, and i love that ingredient list is short and simple.

  • Shiseido Perfect Mascara

    Shiseido Perfect Mascara

    Like the tube says: "PERFECT"

This is by far my favorite mascara. Does everything a mascara should do: lengthens, volumizes, seperates and curls. Works like a dream when paired with the mascara base. It's not waterproof but has pretty good staying power. I once cried while wearing this and it didn't run.

  • Shiseido Makeup Nourishing Mascara Base

I didn't even know mascara primers existed! I read some reviews and decided to try a tube. I kid you not, i look like i'm wearing fake lashes. I experimented with a few different mascaras (different wands, different formulas) they all looked ten times better with this base on. It washes off easily too with just plain soap. I did need to use a eyelash comb for a couple mascaras that were thicker, but it was worth the extra step, my lashes went from clumpy to volumized heaven! The best advice i can give is: first off BUY A TUBE! and second use a thicker mascara for volume (and have a eyelash comb ready) or a thinner mascara for more length, anyway you go, you WILL see a great difference with this base.

  • Desert Essence Organic Jojoba Oil
    10.0

    Desert Essence Organic Jojoba Oil

    Ah, the wonders of Jojoba.

This oil has been touted for years as a miracle. It can be used to remove makeup and moisturize skin, hair and cuticles. I was extremely skeptical about getting oil anywhere near my acne prone skin, after all we've been brainwashed to believe that oil causes zits and only "oil free" products should be used if we have acne. But reaching my 25th birthday and STILL battling zits, i was willing to try. Jojoba is actually a liquid wax and is very much like our skin's own sebum (does anyone else hate that word?) And i was surprised to find that this actually healed my breakouts. Today i use this as a facial moisturizer, just three of four drops works, i rub it into my cuticles after applying it to my face and/or brush my hands along my hair to tame fly-aways and give it shine. It's a great massage oil that won't aggrivate body acne and makes skin SUPER soft. You can find jojoba oil almost anywhere these days, Trader Joes, Vitamin shop, Henry's, Whole Foods etc. Prices vary but they're never unreasonable, esp considering all it's uses.

  • Sephora Professionnel Platinum Powder Brush #50
    10.0

Sephora Professionnel Platinum Powder Brush #50

Better than MAC, better than all of them!

This particular line of Sephora brushes have insane quality and performance. After watching one of the artists use this brush for almost every application of makeup i knew i had to have it. After feeling how soft it was, i bought it on the spot. I got the airbrush #55. This brush is the perfect size for multiple makeup uses: loose powder, pressed powder, blush, bronzer, highlighter, supposedly liquid foundation too but i don't use any. And the finshed look is like the brush says: airbrushed. I also love that it's furry friend friendly, the bristles are synthetic. It picks up mineral powder like a magnet and buffs it to perfection with absolutley no irritation (i HATED bare minerals brushes, they made my skin red and itch). It hasn't ever shed. I really cannot say enough good things about this brush. It's convenient too for travel since you won't need to take all your makeup brushes.
