I felt my skin tighter just after a few days using this face peel system. The peel pads of the Step 1 feel rough and a little bit abrasive. The Step 2 pads are very soft and glide along the face smoothly. From the name, I was kind of expecting stinky pads and to make my face sting. But these pads has a mild scent, and give no irritation to my facial skin. I don't mind the two minute waiting time. These pads make my skin feeling exfoliated and renewed. Well, I've been suffering from adult acne, and no, this system has not stopped me from having new pimples. But I don't think it has caused any breakout either. Unfortunately, my acne spots and sun damage spots look almost the same. I am also not quite sure about wrinkles. Some of fine small wrinkles seem to look less visible, but it could be due to the anti-aging moisturizer that I use? What I notice for sure is that the skin texture. My face is definitely tighter and smoother overall. Amazing! The product is called "Daily" Face Peel, but I use about 3-4 times a week. I changed the usage frequency, not because of the price, but because of the strength of this face peel. I would not recommend this to people with very sensitive skin. True, I agree that this whole system is just too expensive to use every day. I won't probably buy continuously all the time unless I see a big difference on spots and my uneven skin tone. As of today I finished 20 out 30 applications, and I have one more complete set. I will update this review if any of my acne scars or sun damage fade substantially. But wow, it does a great job of making my face firmer and more radiant.

I've used Dove beauty bar in White, Pink, Cool Moisture as well as the one for sensitive skin. Even though I usually use body wash or shower gel to clean my body, Dove is my favorite soap. So much so that I bought a value pack of Dove Gentle Exfoliating Beauty Bar. This Dove soap has very tiny blue beads. I am very used to exfoliate with regular body scrub, both salt- and sugar-based, so their beads are too soft and too few. If your skin cannot take a regular body scrub, this bar of soap may work as a very gentle exfoliator. But for me I need bigger and more exfoliating granules. Just like all other Dove soaps, this soap cleanses gently without drying out my skin or leaving no residue. However, I prefer Dove Sensitive Skin Unscented or White Bar to this exfoliating bar.

This wide toothed comb is ideal for sectioning and entangling hair without pulling too much. I love the pointy end, which makes easier to create different hairstyles. The teeth are quite sharp, and some people may not like that. Goody has very nice and affordable hair accessories, and this is no exception. Since it was only about $1.60 at Target, I bought 3 of them!

I tried Extreme Herbal Mint. This Crest toothpaste generated a nice amount of foam in my mouth as I brushed, my teeth felt clean, and it had a nice minty flavor. But I think Colgate Total still does a better job of leaving a fresh clean feeling in my mouth for a bit longer time.

I purchased one in Pomegranate and Mango to use it in the kitchen. It was on sale so the price was about the same as I would pay for Dial or Soft Soap brand. It lathers well and cleans my hands. It has a light fruity scent, but the scent does not linger on my skin, which is good as a kitchen hand soap. I can move on handling food. It is not moisturizing as Bath & Body Works anti-bacterial moisturizing hand soap, but this hand wash does not dry out my hands too much either. I would repurchase again if I could get it on sale like I did this time around.

This is one of those two-sided boards that have smooth on one side and rough on the other. Even though this is a more durable and wider emery board, the slim Revlon's boards are easier for my small nails to shape and smoothen. Revlon ones are much cheaper too.

My skin feels clean using this toner because it successfully picks up any remaining dirt and oil missed by my regular cleanser without irritating my skin. If you use only an alcohol free toner, this is probably not for you. I'm a regular user of Clinique Clarifying Lotion, but I bought this toner to save a few bucks. I finished the whole bottle recently. The size of my pores appear to be the same, but my blackheads seem to look less obvious. So why didn't I rate this higher? I don't like the fragrance they used for this toner. It smells very perfume-y. I wish this were fragrance-free.

3 tubes for $3 at Target, wow, really! The shades that came with my package are light pink, mauvey-pink, and watermelon red. The colors are rather generic, and gives a little color on my lips, but a lot of shine. Although the staying power is not outstanding, with this price tag I don't mind applying a few times. It is also a bit sticky, but this is a guilt-free lip gloss.

My husband owns about only 5 perfume bottles in total. I think Aramis smells the best on him, but this Bleu de Chanel is also nice too. In my opinion, Bleu does not smell overly masculine. It starts off a little citrusy, but the fragrance gets better once it dries down - warm, woody and a bit peppery. I say the scent is more sporty than complex/sophisticated. I must admit, it smells like I have sniffed somewhere from another perfume that I don't know which one. Still nice on him. BTW, I love the simple yet elegant blue glass sitting on his side of the sink vanity.

I love the glass container, it smells good in the jar, and it is nice to know that this is made of natural ingredients. But I thought it would do a little bit more than moisturizing my hands because I paid $8.99 for it. The cream is a bit heavy, and does not sink into my skin quickly. I like the sweet scent, but it lingers on the hands a bit. Not bad hand creme, but $8.99 without anti-aging ingredient or SPF...hmmm. I love Burt's Bees products, but Nivea Creme in a blue tin does a similar job for less money.
