I got a Burt's Bees Shimmer Trio from my Secret Santa in the office. ;) This gift came in a good timing because I loved it in Nutmeg and was planning to try another color. I had never tried any of these colors (Champagne, Watermelon and Rhubarb). Champagne is a bit too white on my lips. Watermelon's pink is lighter than Rhubarb's, but Watermelon adds a healthy nude-pink look on my lips. My favorite one among this trio is Rhubarb. The color is pretty dark raspberry pink, but my lips can still look natural. These lip shimmers go on smoothly, and I like a minty tingle sensation. It lightly moisturizes my lips. While I will use more buttery and richer lip balm when I have dry/chapped lips, these are great little pick-me-up lip balms.

I keep losing bobby pins, but I need them to hold the sides of my hair, my ponytail or bun. I usually buy Goody or Scunci brand bobby pins, but I found an even better deal at Target a few weeks ago. One package comes with 90 pins, and I got it for $1.99! Although these are not rust resistant, Conair's pins work as good as other regular bobby pins.

When I spend hours outside I would like to use Neutrogena sunscreen products. But they are a bit too heavy on my face when I want to use under make-up. The Eucerin's Face Lotion with SPF 30 feels light and goes on smoothly, not too oily or too dry. It does not stink, and it comes with a pump, thus, unlike a tube it is easy to get a small amount. Unfortunately it is not very moisturizing, and it leaves a bit of a thin white cast, so I do not like to use it alone without a foundation. This sunscreen for face is not flawless, but I still think this is a good make-up base in the price range when my cream/liquid foundation has no or low SPF.

My husband's Body Shop toiletry bag, which I bought it for him more than 10 years ago, got really old, and stained that I couldn't wash it off. So I thought it would be nice to replace it. He wanted the same bag, but unfortunately, I could not find the same square-shaped bag at a Body Shop store. But still this new one was as good as the old one. This polyester bag is just right size, durable, and lightweight. It is much better than a mesh bag that came with Men's Essentials Kit. (btw, if your bf or husband uses shaving cream, I definitely recommend The Body Shop's Maca Root Shave Cream). My husband wish the shape were square, but accepted and uses this replacement. Although this bag is clearly unisex, I would like to use a clear vinyl makeup bag for myself, in case of an accidental makeup or nail color spill. Having said that if you want a simple black polyester bag, this is nice.

I got this perfume without sampling it first because I bought it at a discount store. I expected it to smell like fresh sea breeze and blue ocean. It started off smelling like a mixture of tropical flowers, then, later it smelled a little bit synthetic on me. In my opinion, too many floral scents were blended randomly, as a result, the overall scent was stronger than what I like. I thought that the lasting power was amazing. Although I was not completely satisfied with the scent, I still wore it during sunny days and warm summer nights. While this is not a perfume that I will repurchase, I love the cool original bottle design, which I kept it. When I want a perfume that reminds me of a beach vacation, my first choice is still Davidoff Cool Water.

This burner's design matches perfectly to our outdoor furniture. I love their earthy and natural look, and I just could not pass it up. I placed this oil warmer on our picnic table when we ate outside in the evening, but I didn't actually put any scented oil, only a tea light. It worked like a centerpiece lantern. It was a bit pricey for a simple oil burner. If I see them on sale, I will buy a few more of these. I cannot wait to use them in summer.

I purchased this to get rid of the peach fuzz above my lips. The brush was very convenient, and it removed most of the unwanted hair. However it irritated my facial skin. The area looked a bit reddish, and started to itch. I expect a minor irritation from any facial hair remover but this one gave me more irritation and burning sensation than Nair Face Cream Hair Remover does.

I think this is a very wet mascara that it takes some time to dry. I don't know it is because of the curved shape, the brush picks up too much mascara, which makes an application difficult and messy. I have to do a few coats to apply evenly. It lengthens pretty goo, but the curved brush is almost useless in curling. What I can also say is that this is not a very long-wearing mascara. A rainy day or a few drops of tears cause mascara to run and smear.

I liked this lash primer the first several times. It lengthened my lashes, but the more I used, the more it clumped my lashes together. As a results, it made my lashes look like spider-legs. I think that the primer coating built up and dried on the brush. Every time I used this primer, I wiped off the build-up from the brush. Then, it worked a bit better again. I used a metal lash comb to separate the lashes, and the comb was a bad idea..it also removed some of the mascara and the coat. A comb was my fault but still the brush needs some improvement. What a tedious routine. Shiseido's Mascara Base works better.

Over the years I tried a few dozens of ULTA nail colors. It seems that each time I visit an ULTA store, I tend to pick up about two bottles. Among what I have currently, I like and do use Ginger Peach, Smoke Screen, Set The Nude, and Grape Escape. They have flashy limited holiday edition colors too. The consistency is not too thick or too thin, and it dries in a decent amount of time. Unfortunately, I find that ULTA's nail color is not very long-wearing without a base or top coat. But it is ideal for an evening/night out or just for weekends to use a funky and flashy color. Having said that I would not have bought them if they were not on sale. I usually get them when there is a Buy One Get One Free deal at ULTA, so I pay about $2.50 per bottle which makes them much cheaper than Sephora's.
