I used this product when I was in my 20s and continued to use it for a decade. In retrospect, I would have chosen a different moisturizer, but at that time, for the price and its competition, it was a respectful option.

Having undergone once-a-month microdermabrasion a few years ago plus having dry skin, I turned to CX Rapid Recovery Cream to soothe my skin and I wasn't disappointed. Although it is an expensive moisturizer for Clinique, I used this cream morning and night for a week after my dermabrasion appointments, and I felt it not only repaired my skin but soothed it as well. As a caveat, I don't have dermabrasion done anymore. There are so many products on the market now that are equal to that of a salon. dermabrasion.

Although this is one of the lesser expensive Cellex-C products, in my opinion, it is not worth the price. A while back I was having a problem with adult onset acne. At that time, I was using the high-potency serum, so I thought I would try some of the acne treatments in this line. To my dismay, the product made my acne worse. I am again having an acne issue, but I will not aggravate the condition with irritating ingredients like peppermint.

The verdict is in, and Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner reigns supreme. With squinty eyes and no lashes, this product gives my eyes their intended expression. It has great staying power and ease of application. Bobbi is the Queen of Natural Expression.

I was very happy to have a moisturizer that containing SPF 15 and zinc oxide, but anti-aging or pro age, this is not. The ingredients include very little to combat wrinkles. It smells wonderful and leaves your skin feeling smooth, but I need the Big Guns to fight wrinkles.

I wouldn't have bought this if my stylist didn't give me a complimentary makeup touch-up after styling my hair. It is fabulous. The Lip Glaze is not sticky, which is my biggest pet peeve with glazes and glosses. I bought wineberry, which I would have never chosen for myself, but it seems to complement all skin types. Since it has been suggested by some that we "eat" more lipstick than we should, it is good to know that Aveda Lip Glaze is organic and tastes like peppermint.

Having grayed considerably in the last few years, my stylist suggested that I use this to tame the new growth of wiry, gray hair. After styling, I would rub a little in my hands, and then "tame" just the gray hairs at the roots. Since the introduction of Smooth Infusion, I retired Brilliant Universal Styling Creame. But guess who snagged it? My husband. He has coarse, kinky hair, and this works wonders on his mane.

I recently have been trying to do my own pedicures. Until this year, I had my pedis at an Aveda salon, and the tech used Aveda Foot Relief to exfoliate my feet and lower legs. Having since purchased Foot Relief, I don't get the same "ahhh" experience at home, but the product exfoliates, as well as soothes my tired, aching feet. The lavender smells helps to put a little "ahhh" in my DIY pedi.

Although I like clean, fresh, and natural scents, this is a little to organic for me. This smells like a lot of the ingredients contained in the hair care line, which I like, but not in a perfume.

I use Bobbi Brown tea rose and found that Cover Girl 940 is almost the same color and as moisturizing. For the price, I will continue using Cover Girl. This is a medium rosy color with creamy coverage.
