DuWop Revolution Face is smoke and mirrors for mature and dry skin. The light-reflecting properties diffuse the "crinkles" around my eyes, and there was a moisturizing effect without feeling heavy. In addition, DuWop Revolution Face contains an SPF of 15, which is a must for a reformed sun worshiper like me. Just having spent a month in Florida, I used this every day. I also put it on my hands and the light-reflecting ingredients reflected others' eyes away for those cute age spots! Smoke and mirrors again!

Having had a Bliss Spa oxygen mask before, I was not disappointed in the DIY Bliss Instant Energizing Mask by comparison, but that does not mean I would give this product a 10. A sceptic when it comes to the claims of many beauty products, I am sceptical about the release of oxygen into your skin that both the Bliss Spa mask and the instant mask are supposed to accomplish. It contains vitamin C, which also makes me sceptical, because vitamin C in most skin care products is unstable. Having said all that, I love the stress-reducing aspect of facials and masks, and that is worth its weight in gold. I give this product a 10 for stress reduction and a 5 in general.

If you know how I feel about Bobbi's gel eyeliner, then you will know how I feel about her gel brush. The gel and gel brush are a perfect marriage. For the shaky-handed gal, you might want to find a similar brush with a shorter handle or choke up a bit on this one.

Although Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash smells delicious -- like a bowl of fruit -- and it contains skin-friendly ingredients like milk thistle, rose hip extract, and chamomile, I didn't find it as fabulous as the name tries to imply. Although it does exfoliate a bit, it is not enough for my skin. In addition, like a beer without the foam, Bliss Fabulous "Foamless" Face Wash leaves you wanting more because there is no foam. Lastly, if you are concerned about the paraben issue, this is not a product for you.

As a believer in "strive for five or more" veggies and fruits a day, I don't always make my goal. Dr. Weil's Mega Mushroom Supplement contains everything your skin needs for nourishment: Hypsizygus ulmarius, Cordyceps and Lion’s Mane Mushrooms, Ginger, Turmeric, Holy Basil and Flax Seed Oil. Getting more and more "natural" in my choices of foods, Mega-Mushroom fits right into my skin care prescription. The taste is not unpleasant, but after I take it, I quickly down a glass or warm water. Since starting my daily prescription of salmon, green tea, five or more veggies and fruit, and a dose of Mega-Mushroom, my skin has improved dramatically.

Evn though I have used Retin-A user for years and years, I still develop redness from time to time, what Dr. Weil calls your "fire within." When I do, I reach in my beauty product arsenal and pull out Plantidote Mega-Mushroom Face Serum. It is pricey so I only use it on my "fire" days, but I always have it on hand.

Not a woman that can wear too many scents, I fell in love with Zents' Fresh just recently. It is the most pure and soft scent of my limited collection (which includes Philosophy Amazing Grace and Clean Clean). The owner of the company designed this scent based on the birth of her baby girl. It is baby with a twist of woman. Easy to wear. Not overpowering. If anything, it is too underpowering because it fades quickly.

I am a big fan of products that exfoliate, and Origins Modern Friction is on the top of my most used beauty products. Rice starch sloughs off dead skin cells; the lemon oil not only smells good but illuminates your skin; bergamot and peppermint give you that quintessential Origins' pick-me-up; and aloe calms the skin. As a frequent Retin-A user, Modern Friction "buffs" away the scales and dry skin without leaving my face raw like other dermabrasion/exfoliation products have in the past. If you are NOT in need of major "buffing," I would try Origins Never A Dull Moment, which I used before graduating to Modern Friction. The only warning, be careful not to get this near your eyes because the lemon oil burns! I have been careless too many times and my eyes watered for an hour. You apply this to a clean face and use circular motions to "buff" your face. Put a little water on your hands and continue buffing for a few minutes. Wash off and your skin should be as smooth as a baby's.

Although my review won't be too different from my reviews about Beach in general, the shower gel is also a vacation in a bottle. The difference between the lotion, perfume, and the gel is that the gel is light enough that I use the it in the winter as well. Due to its heavier scent, I will only use the perfume and lotion in the summer. The shower gel gives you a hint of a beach vacation -- just a little sunshine in your day.
