smashbox Jet Set Waterproof Eye Liner comes in a little glass jar, smaller in size than MAC’s Fluidline in Blacktrack and L’Oreal HIP Cream Liner in Black, but contains the same amount of product. Overall, smashbox Jet Set Waterproof Eye Liner lacks pigmentation. You really have to layer liner application to create a smooth and continuous lined eyes. Within 60 seconds of application, this liner was pretty much budge proof. But within hours, my eyeliner started to smudge. Its waterproof properties is the only thing that this gel liner has going for it.

Yes, it's expensive, but well worth it! It is very concentrated - so you only need about a nickel size of foundation for full coverage. As for the texture, the foundation is a thin and a bit runny , but nothing to be concerned about. I recommend a stippling brush for foundation application. Overall, FACE atelier Ultra Foundation is excellent for covering up scars, but if you have raised blemishes, you need to follow up with a concealer. After foundation application, my face looks dewy, radiant and flawless! I was hesitant to try out this foundation, because of the silicone and I do have sensitive skin. Luckily, this was not an issue for me!

In the packaging, the duo looks beautiful. One side of the duo is a high frost metallic silver eyeshadow and the other side is a metallic purple with a silver sheen. When applied, Charming is very pigmented and has great color payoff, but it definitely has its downfalls. First off, the texture of the eyeshadows can be a bit grainy. Secondly, beware of MASSIVE eyeshadow fallout. I found these two eyeshadows difficult to blend.

I have to admit, the packaging is darn right cute. I’m a sucker for pink. The pink packaging and tongue and cheek image/tagline reminds me of Benefit Cosmetics. However, looks aren’t everything, it all boils down to performance. And with that in mind…save your $14 and skip Flirt! ItCurl Mascara. Yes, the mascara slightly lengthened my lashes, but not to the 144% that it claims. Sadly, my lashes experienced no boost of volume or length. I’m also not a fan of the horizontal wand, it made it difficult to reach the inner and outer corner of my lashes. Bottom line - This mascara is nothing phenomenal, but mediocre.

L'Oreal Paris Infallible Never Fail Lipcolour Compact
L’Oreal Infallible Lipcolor in Plumped Tawny
In the past, I haven’t had great experiences with L’Oreal’s lipcolors. They were either too drying or no color payoff. Unfortunately, L’Oreal Infallible Lipcolor fails. While I do admit that Plumped Tawny is a pretty nude pink color, but it doesn’t make up for its downfalls. Did I get plumped lips? Nope. Did it last six hours? Nope. During a meal and an evening out, L’Oreal Infallible Lipcolor did not last.

I’m always weary of bronzers for the fear of looking muddy. But, Pop Beauty Cheeky Cake in Beach Babe is far from that. One side of Beach Babe is a beautiful mauve blush and the other side is a warm bronzer that instantly warms up my NC37 complexion with a natural glow. In its packaging, the blush looks shimmery, but it actually is matte. A very natural and neutral color, Beach Babe is perfect for work or an everyday blush. In fact, Beach Babe has been my go to work blush for the past two weeks!

My first main gripe is that once you turn on the heated eyelash curler, there isn’t a way to indicate that the curler is ready for use other than waiting for 15 seconds (as noted in the directions). A light indicator would help immensely. Secondly, I’m not fan of using this tool AFTER mascara application. Overtime, the curler will develop product buildup and I’m not quite sure how to clean this tool effectively. Lastly, Sephora’s Mini Heated Eyelash Curler did curl my eyelashes, but it was nothing to rave about. shu umera’s Eyelash Curler did a better job at curling my lashes. Bottom Line: Skip this and stick with your regular eyelash curler.

I've used Curél Itch Defense Lotion consistently for two weeks straight and saw superb results! Curél Itch Defense Lotion is a bargain no-frills lotion that actually works! Curél Itch Defense Lotion is unscented and excellent for dry skin sufferers. Due to this dry and cold winter, my skin has been itchy, flaky and dry. No matter how much lotion I slathered on, my skin still felt dehydrated. However, this wasn't the case with Curél Itch Defense Lotion. At the end of the testing period, my skin was smoother, softer and flake-free! I was quite surprised, because Curél Itch Defense Lotion works better than my HG Aveeno body lotion. If only Curél can add a touch of fragrance to this lotion, it would be perfect!

Two clamps of this eyelash curler and it gave my eyelashes have a slight bent at the base and huge lift of the lashes. It really opened up my peepers. After a couple swipes of mascara (CoverGirl Lashblast, of course!), my lashes were set for the rest of the day. Unlike most eyelash curlers, I didn't experience any pinching or lash fallout. Priced at $19, shu umera Eyelash Curler comes with an extra replacement pad. According to the instructions on the box, the pad is supposed to be replaced every three months. To prolong the shelf life of any eyelash curler, I recommend cleaning the curler clamp with a cotton ball of a small mixture rubbing alcohol and water. If you can afford this, get it!

For reference, my MAC shade is NC37 and I have medium skin with strong yellow undertones. With that being said, PeachyKeen is a gorgeous blush that instantly warms up my complexion. PeachyKeen can be described as a warm peach/pink shimmery blush with golden undertones. This blush glides on smoothly onto my cheeks and lasts all day! Ever since I received this blush, it has been my go to blush. It’s great for everyday wear and appropriate for work. The only drawback is the price!
