  • L'Oreal Paris HiP Studio Secrets Professional Color Presso

I love the concept of having the ability to mix and match sades, but I HATE the packaging! The dispenser where the product dispense out is too large and bulky, which makes it difficult for application. The texture of the lip gloss is thick and non-sticky. As for the smell? I hate it. It smells like cotton candy. I prefer non-scented lip glosses. And the $12.99 price tag? Honestly, it’s a bit steep for drugstore lip gloss. For a couple dollars more, you can easily buy MAC instead.

  • Max Factor 2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper
    7.0

Max Factor 2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper

    Similar to CoverGirl Lashblast

Overall, MAX Factor 2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper delivers. It’s definitely not on the same level as Exceptionnel De Chanel Mascara, but is definitely one of the better drugstore mascaras on the market. MAX Factor’s Fat-Wrap brush defined and separated my lashes. No smudging and no clumping. The result? Bigger and voluminous lashes! With just two coats of this mascara, you’ll get massive volume. Anything mre than that, your lashes are left with clumps. I hate to admit this, but MAX Factor 2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper is very similar to CoverGirl’s Lashblast Mascara. The size of the packaging and mascara wand are almost identical. The difference between the two? The price. CoverGirl Lashblast retails at $8, whereas MAX Factor retails at $10. Given that it’s only a small difference, I still prefer CoverGirl Lashblast - it works slightly better.

  • Max Factor Vivid Impact Lip Color

Max Factor Vivid Impact Lip Color

    High Impact Lip Color!

I have never been into lipsticks. Why? Because I associate lipsticks with older women and they leave that matte look - a look that I hate! However, Max Factor Vivid Impact color has slightly changed my mentality on lipsticks. Unlike most lipsticks, these long-lasting lipsticks are quite moisturizing and do not dry out your lips. In addition, these lipsticks come in fun colors that will not age you! I find myself reaching for Pin-Up Pink on a daily basis. Pin-Up Pink paired with a lip gloss is absolutely gorgeous!

  • Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Shampoo

I'm a fan of Garnier's deep conditioner. This shampoo? Not so much. I have fine hair that needs to be smoothed out from time to time. Intially, this shampoo worked wonderfully - smoothed out my hair. However, overtime, it weighed down my hair. But then again, I do have fine hair. This shampoo is probably better for those with thick hair.

  • Garnier Fructis Style Sleek & Shine Deep Conditioner

Priced at under $5, this is one of the best drugstore deep conditioners that I have found. I use this only once a week and it makes my hair soft and manageable.

  • L'Oreal Paris Double Extend Mascara

    L'Oreal Paris Double Extend Mascara

    Great mascara that works!

This $10 mascara is a little more pricey than your typical drugstore mascara, but it actually works! My lashes were lengthened dramatically and this mascara can easily be worn everyday. These pictures don't do any justice. I can honestly say that the impact of this mascara can be compared to Exceptionnel de Chanel Intense Volume and Curl Mascara. $10 - L'Oreal vs. $28 - Chanel. I'd prefer L'Oreal. I love also how it's very easy to remove. All you need is warm water for mascara removal, the tubes wash off like little fibers - a separate eye makeup remover isn't needed. My only drawback for this product is that it does tend to clump at times...use a lash comb and you're good to go!

  • L'Oreal Paris HiP Studio Secrets Professional Color Truth Cream Eyeliner

Overall, I was impressed by this cream liner. This was my first cream liner purchase and I am now a fan of cream liners. I love how I can build up my look from a soft daytime look to a night out on the town. Honestly, I was debating between the budget friendly cream liners out there - Coastal Scents, Jane and Revlon and am happy that I chose to try out L'Oreal HIP's version instead. This liner could possibly be my HG liner - I definitely will repurchase once I run out!

  • Max Factor Volume Couture Mascara

    Max Factor Volume Couture Mascara

    Great inexpensive Mascara!

I was really surprised with the results. I was left with lengthned, clump-free lashes. This mascara reminds me of Cover Girl's Lash Exact Mascara. I can see why Allure chose this mascara as one of the best... I definitely will repurchase!

  • Zoya Nail Polish

    Zoya Nail Polish

Zoya - 2008 Winter Collection in Flourish

This review is for Zoya's 2008 Winter Collection in Flourish. This set includes six jewel toned nail polishes. Overall, I was extremely impressed with these Zoya nail polishes. All of these shades left a high shine metallic look. This was my first time ever trying out this brand and I am floored! My favorites are Zara and Shivon. When applied, your nails match the exact color on the bottle. And pregnant women should not fear these nail polishes, because they are free of toxic Toluene, Camphor, Formaldehyde and DBP. Even though this is a Winter Collection, I love how the colors are so versatile that you can wear them for more than one season. I admit that this is a little more than what I would usually pay for nail polish, but you definitely are getting what you paid for.

  • Head & Shoulders 3 Action Formula Smooth & Silky Shampoo

After giving Head & Shoulders another whirl, I was still unimpressed - so this review will be short and semi-sweet. First off, I have to give credit for Head & Shoulders creating his line of Smooth and Silky. Dandruff shampoos on the market tend to dry out your hair and are left with frizzy hair. Head & Shoulders Smooth and Silky actually did what it was intended to do - alleviate dandruff and smooth out my tresses. However, I find this line to be mediocre. It did smooth out my hair, and helped with my dandruff, but it returned a couple days later. For dandruff control, I believe that Head & Shoulders Original Formula is better than this formula.
