I try to avoid waterproof eye makeup formulas as I find them so difficult and irritating to remove. Bi-Facil is certainly the solution when you need to wear waterproof makeup. It removes your make-up completely and gently. It does leave a bit of a greasy residue but I have found that easy enough to remove when I wash my face with my normal cleanser. This is a good remover to keep around for those hard to get off products.

This is truly a great mascara. It never clumps and gives you a nice long lash. It looks great with just one coat or you can layer more on for a more dramatic look. I love that this mascara will wear flawlessly all day long without smudging or flaking yet removes easily in the evening. The price of Defincils certainly gives me some sticker shock, so I tend to hoard this and save it for special occasions or days I know will be particularly long. If I had no budget to adhere to this would be a constant in my makeup collection. I also particularly like the long, feathery look it gives your lashes. It is dramatic without looking unnatural or overdone. I would truly recommend this mascara to anyone and everyone who can afford the rather high price tag. The brush is perfect for getting the mascara in the hard to reach places around the edges of your eyes.

Pantene classic care conditioner will always be around in my hair arsenal I have a ton of fine, wavy, frizzy hair. Pantene makes my hair manageable. Being a cosmetics junkie I love to try new things all the time. When my experiments go wrong I always get the classic Pantene back out. I find the formula gives me enough moisture to help fight the frizz, but does not leave my hair looking greasy and weighed down. It gives you an effective cleansing but does not strip your hair down. I also like Pantene because it does not cause me to break out. I do wish that Pantene would make the shampoo and the shampoo and conditioner two in one bottles look a little more different. I frequently almost buy the wrong one. (So pay attention when you go to grab this real quick!) This is a good buy for the price and I frequently find coupons, which makes it even more attractive. And of course there is that wonderful Pantene smell, which just cannot be beat in my book.

In my seemingly never ending search for the perfect frizz fighter I decided to give this a try. The gimmicky name did not really do a whole lot for me, but I have been in a hair product quandry so I decided to give it a whirl. My hair is thick, wavy, frizzy and fine. So I have yet to find any of the shine products that work for me as once I have enough on to kill the frizz I look like I have not washed my hair in months. This hair milk seems to be the right weight for my hair. It gives my hair some shine and a little bit of hold without weighing it down. You do have to be careful about the amount that you use and making sure it is spread evenly as it can make your hair look dirty if you get too much in one area. The disappointing part of this hair milk is by far and away the smell. It is a strange mix of scents that I cannot quite explain. However the smell does fade once the milk is dry so it is not a deal breaker for me. This also has a slight amount of hold to it. It would not be my choice to replace gel or hairspray but for a touch up or a day after shampoo do, it does seem to keep the work you do with your curling or flat iron in place gently. I find the packaging convenient as it does not squirt out an unreasonable amount at the same time it does not take forty seven pumps to get the desired amount. I find that this is well worth the low price tag and I find that my hair looks shiny and frizz free while not going limp and greasy.

I started using this about a month ago after my first foray into drugstore primers, left me too sparkly. This primer has a lotion like consistency, which I enjoyed much more than the silicone, slippery feel of other primers. The smell is alright, nothing great, but fades quickly so it is bearable even if it is not your cup of team. Once the primer is dry (which does take a bit of time, I typically put it on and then brush my teeth, to give it time to fully absorb before starting with putting on makeup). The effect is subtle but noticeable in terms of softening lines and smaller looking pores, but it is there on its own. Once you put your makeup on top, the effect is more noticeable. I wear mineral powder foundation and have had issues with blending with other primers. I have not found this with the Rimmel primer as long as I leave sufficient time for it to dry before applying makeup. It does create a matte finish as promised. I enjoy the finish as it keeps the shine at bay, but still allows you to look glowy. The primer does seem to keep your makeup in place for longer. Generally by the end of the day my t-zone looks like a grease slick with very little makeup left on it, or weird and cakey from my botched touch up job. I also found it quite effective at keeping eye shadow and eyeliner in place through out the day. Even during allergy season I did not have to clean up the under eye raccoon mess that normally accompanies this time of year. This is a solid primer and does a nice job. I also very much enjoy the price and will definitely be purchasing again.

This crème works great. I have frizzy, dry, curly- wavy hair. To have it look smooth and under control is an undertaking. I find this crème is quite effective when first styling your hair but it is also great to use for touch ups. It also seems to have a little bit of hold to is, so your styling efforts do not completely disappear within the first 5 minutes of being exposed to humidity. I also enjoy that it does not weigh your hair down. So often products of this nature can control frizz and curl but you end up looking like you don’t wash your hair. This leaves your hair soft and smooth but without the greasy look. This is a great crème, especially if you consider the price. I also found the smell to be nice, slightly different than other Pantene products, but the scent fit in well with the others I was using.

I was so excited to see this mask again. I had used it years ago and then couldn’t seem to find it again for several years. It is definitely designed for oily or dry skin. This is a wonderful summertime mask. As it dries you can feel your skin getting tighter underneath it. Once you rinse it off your skin feels so silky and clean! It can be a little drying so I would warn against using it when your skin is feeling the slightest bit dry. Rinsing this mask off is time consuming, but I have found using a warm washrag to remove it works well and gives you a light exfoliation. I find the scent pleasant and clean. The mask itself is green giving you that stereotypical mask that you see in the movies (all you are missing are the cucumbers). I like to use this mask when I feel my skin is on the verge of a breakout.

This was totally an impulse buy for me. I saw it while waiting in a checkout line and was so attracted to the cute package that I had to have it. I ended up finding the packaging (while still cute) somewhat annoying; you can’t put it in your pocket comfortably. I got the mint flavor, which I found strong enough to actually be aware of, but still light enough that it didn’t dry me crazy. I found the balm itself to be pretty typical. It moisturized well, but wasn’t anything miraculous. I keep it my purse, but I doubt I will purchase it again. I think it does a better job of protecting against getting chapped lips, rather than healing ones that are already chapped. Since I live in an eternal state of chapped lips, this merely keeps that chapped feeling at bay rather than helping my lips to actually heal.

I find this lotion decent. It is quick absorbing and I like that the scent is very light. I like to have something with those qualities to leave at my desk at work, so my fingers aren’t sliding off a keyboard all day. I do find that I have to reapply this quite frequently, sometimes I have to apply it so frequently that my hands just end up feeling sticky and then I have to wash my hands and start all over. I did not find this lotion particularly effective when I used it on my body. I just felt sticky, yet my skin still felt dry. I don’t think that this lotion is all that bad, just horribly mislabeled. If it didn’t say things like “relieves severely dry skin” or “24 hour moisturizers” I think I would have been happier with the product, as it stands now I thought I would be getting something a little richer.

I purchased Beach Chic to use when I pinned curled my hair and let it air dry in the summer. I have found this process works well with my curly, dry hair in the summer and gives my hair the much needed break from all the damage I put it through during the rest of the year. I had used a similar product last year that I liked but could not seem to find again this year. So I decided to give this a try. I did not find this enjoyable to use. The first try proved to not do much to encourage curl in your hair. Rather it leaves it kinda flat and frizzy. I decided to try again and use the spray more generously. The following morning I awoke and it felt like (not sure if was actually) like there was salt all over my hair. I realize this is a somewhat strange complaint about sea salt spray, but I am talking about enough salt that I could shake my hair over some French fries and be ready to go. It was gross. And my hair was lifeless and frizzy to boot. I can achieve that look without product or the effort of setting it. I also found that after just the two uses that my hair had an incredible amount of buildup and needed some serious cleansing to get the remnants of the stuff out of my hair (what I didn’t use to season food with ). I did find the smell to be clean and fresh and not too coconutty, again I know its sea salt spray but I don’t enjoy the smell of coconut so I was hopeful when sniffing this spray thinking I had found my summer hair solution. But alas I am back to the drawing board.
