I have never understood why people love this moisturizer so much. To me it leaves so much to be desired. It leaves me shiny, but not necessarily feeling moisturized.

I am always on the search for the best lip balm. My lips get chapped very easily and I am always fighting it. Baby Lips makes my lips feel smooth almost immediately after applying. It is pretty amazing. I also like that it has a sunscreen in it. I enjoy the light texture, not waxy like so many are. The flavor is hard to describe, but it is light and you don’t feel like you have smeared cheap candy flavor all over. It also works nicely as a light gloss (not too shiny or heavy). While I am totally a lip balm junkie I have actually gone back and purchased the clear Baby Lips several times. With the numerous lip balms out there this certainly speaks to this being a fantastic product if I am willing to purchase it more than once when there are so many new things to try all of the time.

I was excited when I received a sample of this. (I love samples and mascara so it was a great day). They’re Real is super black. It is also super glossy. I love the long, dramatic look that this mascara gives. It gives you the look of false lashes. It is totally dramatic. Your lashes look super long and separated. I was enthralled with this mascara and ready to make this my mascara of choice, until I tried to take it off my eyes. Bummer. The not waterproof formula is as hard as a waterproof formula to remove. Even with eye makeup remover I was still left looking a little racoony. While I love the dramatic look of They’re Real, I am not willing to sacrifice the quality/ health of my real eyelashes. I use this for special occasions, but unfortunately I am unwilling to make this my day in day out mascara.

This does a good job a touch up on frizz. The few times I used when blow drying, I was less than impressed. The formula has a nice consistency for getting it just where you want it when touching up a frizzy spot. However the thickness of the formula is somewhat problematic when trying to spread it throughout your hair. I usually just ended up with a greasy spot and frizzy hair everywhere else. I found the smell nice, but nothing all that impressive, certainly a clean, non-offensive scent. The packaging also left something to be desired for me. Normally I like a tube, but something about the thickness of this product causes me to either get nothing or half the bottle out when I squeeze it. Given the bargain price I certainly think it is worth a try if you are looking for something like this, I however doubt I will purchase again.

The Out of Trouble mask does exactly what it says it does. If you are breaking out it will significantly clear your skin. It does contain sulfur, which can make the smell a little strong, but it is totally bearable. I particularly like to use this mask when I “feel” a breakout coming, or when you feel that little lump under your skin that you know is going to turn into the concealer challenge of the decade. I put some Out of Trouble on and then follow when a warm washrag to remove the mask. I would also recommend using this mask just after a shower so your pores are nice and open and you can soak in all of the wonderful benefits. If you get to the breakout with Out of Trouble in time you can avoid the breakout all together. I think of this mask as a staple in my skincare collection and it is my first step when combatting the inevitable breakout.

This is my go to mask for breakouts. I received a sample several years ago and have been hooked ever since. The mask does a great job of drying up your problem areas but manages not to try out the rest of your skin. I will use it all over if my skin looks like it is getting ready to blow; it also does a great job of cleaning out enlarged pores. I will also use it as a spot treatment for a pimple I find that it does shorten the time I have the pimple. I also enjoy that this mask does not have an obnoxious scent. You can actually feel this mask working when it is on your face. It has a tightening sensation and once you wash it off your skin feels so silky and smooth. I also enjoy that this contains activated charcoal but the formula is easy to clean and does not stain.

I always keep a bottle of this in my bathroom closet. While my hair could not handle a daily or even weekly wash with this, I find it to be a great cleaner if you are ready to start from scratch. I will use this when I have performed too many hair products experiments to even know what anything is doing anymore. I would recommend following this with a deep conditioning as it pretty much strips your hair completely down. I find that after I use this and then a deep conditioning that my hair is very soft (pretty much too soft, it will not do much of anything that it does not want to). Once I have some oil built back up in my hair it looks nice again. I also like to have this around if I use something new and I think it is the culprit behind a breakout.

I got a tube of this free with a purchase of the Roc Retinol Night treatment (which I am a die-hard fan of). I have found this to live up to its full face counterpart. The cream is thick enough to offer moisture without leaving your eyelids wet for hours. I have found the formula works well for softening the lines around my eyes. It also seems to have some effects on brightening the skin around my eyes. I noticed results immediately in that my eyes instantly looked brighter and refreshed and also noticed that over time the fine lines around my eyes seemed softer and more subtle. I also found that after using the tube up that my under eye circles did seem to be lighter and less noticeable. I think this is a good “catch all” eye cream, as it is effective in addressing many concerns of the eye area.

I picked one of these up in my endless quest for the perfect greenish/aqua eyeliner. At one dollar I figured it would be well worth the gamble. I find the pencil a little harder than I would normally like, but you can sharpen this into a very fine point. I really like that aspect of it as it allows me to get really close and even into my lash line. After I do that I warm the pencil tip up on my hand and can get the smudgier look around the rest of my eye. I have found that this eyeliner does wear well (especially considering the price) and don’t find it running all over my face by the end of the day. With its staying power I was concerned that it would be difficult to remove (a huge pet peeve of mine). I found that this comes clean with my normal cleansing and have overall been pleasantly surprised with this eyeliner.

I love Lancome blushes! There is a great variety of colors to choose from so you can easily find the perfect one for your skin tone or mood. I like that the color is highly pigmented yet subtle and sheer. It blends smoothly and evenly so you can get just the glow that you are wanting. I find that this formula wears well throughout the day so there is no touch up needed (a must in my book as I carry everything but the kitchen sink in my purse every day). Since the color is so highly pigmented a little goes a long way so your investment (which is fairly sizeable) is worth it. If you are a junkie like me and have several colors you will have a blush collection that can last for years. I also like that it comes in a variety of finishes from more matte looks to shimmery.
