I own 4 of Urban Decay's eyeshadows. One is Chopper (glitter/shimmer), the others are Illegal, Chronic and Shakedown (matte). Since Chopper is the most recent UD item I acquired, this review will be based on that. Chopper looks like a medium glittery taupe-brown in the container. On my NC35 skin, the eyeshadow looks like a medium shimmery, peachy-pink taupe.. This is the ONLY glittery eyeshadow I own as I'm not big on anything with glitter in them but...I found this color interesting so I picked it up. A great "all over the lid" color or as a base for other, more intense shadows though I prefer to wear this at night when going out to dinner with the hubby to brighten and add sparkle to the eye area. I tried using it as a highlighter but on me, the color is a bit too dark for that and didn't really bring out my brow bone. Someone with a darker skin tone than myself might be able to pull it off though. The glitter is actually not bad. I thought it was going to be too much but it's micro-glitter, not big shiny flakes of it. The micro glitter does tend to get almost everywhere on my face upon application, including corners of eyes and some on cheeks. I just take my powder brush and brush them off. I'm going to try the other colors UD has to offer as I really like their consistency and color pay-off.

I actually prefer this one to the Zoom Lash for daytime wear as it isn't as thick, clumpy or heavy. Although the MAC Zoom lash is a bit more dramatic (in my experience), it tends to weigh my long lashes down and straightens its natural curl. The Pro Lash doesn't do any of those things. One swipe is all I need in the morning before going to work and it gives me just enough definition to my lashes without looking like I'm going out to the club. If you're looking for a "false eyelashes" effect, you might be let down with this one as I find my Dior Show to be better suited for that particular look. Still, for daytime everyday wear, this is perfect for me.

Chanel Precision Demaquillant Yeux Intense Gentle Biphase Eye Makeup Remover
Removes eye makeup in an instant
I love wearing waterproof mascaras and some of the brands I own are very difficult to remove, even with eye makeup removers I have bought in the past. Not with this though. This product removes it instantly without having to rub repeatedly. Eyeshadows and liners come off with ease and with just one or at the most, two swipes. I use a flat cotton pad you can get at your local drugstore and put in a small amount of this remover. Usually that's enough to remove all traces of eye makeup. The only slight complaint I have about it is it tends to leave a somewhat oily residue behind but it's really no big deal as I always wash my face with my regular cleanser and water afterwards anyway. The other complaint I have is this product isn't cheap. The good news is a little goes a long way as it's very effective.

I have two colors from this line (Marshmallow and Sugared Almond) and both colors are great on my medium skin tone. The colors I have are sheer enough to give me a hint of pigment without looking overdone. I wear this gloss by itself or topped over my lipstain for added moisture and shine. Speaking of shine, this gloss isn't super shiny but it does give you a sheen to your lips. Best of all...this gloss is non sticky which is my favorite part about it. I'm not afraid to wear my hair down when wearing this because it doesn't get stuck to my lips which happens often with sticky glosses I've tried and owned. I wear this almost everyday and is one of a couple items I always have in my bag.

I got this eyeshadow in "Torch" which is shimmery and on my mediium complexion, it looks like a bronzy-orange glow on my lids and brings out the yellow color of my hazel eyes. I use it with UDPP if I want the color to stand out a bit more. Can be used wet or dry but I prefer to just use it dry. Lasts all day on me without any flaking or creasing. When I use it without any primer, the color isn't as bold but still lasts almost as long as with the primer on. The eyeshadow itself is roughly the same size as a MAC single eyeshadow so I just depotted it and placed it in my MAC palette. Would love to try the other colors and finishes.

I bought this because you get 6 complimentary colors all in one pallete for a "no brainer" application. Also, the colors looked so nice that I was sure it was going to enhance my hazel eyes. Well, as soon as I applied it, gobs of glitter started falling off my brush and got on my cheeks, my clothes and worst of all, in my eyes. Within minutes my eyes started to get real itchy from all the glitter fall out. The glitter isn't micro glitter either. The particles are actually quite big. I have used other glittery eye shadows that didn't make my eyes react this way but I just couldn't see myself using this again. Too bad because the colors were subtle enough for daytime wear. I guess I'm just allergic to it.

I have the colors #44 (orange) and #45 (coral). I have slightly pigmented lips and #44 orange makes my lips look like it has a peachy glow to it which is great for everyday wear, not to mention very flattering for my skin tone. The coral is a slightly darker orange reddish tinged and this particular color looks like my lip color, only better. What I really love about it is the gloss is very light and not the type of gloss where your hair sticks to your lips on a windy day, which I really hate. Definitely non sticky and I actually prefer the consistency of Korres' lip gloss to that of NARS or MAC Lipglass, both of which are much heavier and stickier. Even though this gloss is not as heavy, it doesn't sacrifice anything in color payoff although NARS' lipstain/gloss is a bit more opaque in comparison. Staying power is about average, just like any lip glosses. I reapply after 40 minutes or after eating. With that said, I like the color orange for everyday wear although I would wear coral occasionally when I feel like having a more bolder lip coloring.

I was curious to try this when it first came out as wanted a loose powder I can dust on my t-zone areas to minimize shine. I hardly wear foundation so I just use this over my sunscreen and although the powder is a bit mattifying, the coverage is light to moderate at best. This is better used for setting your makeup and just using it on problem areas as opposed to an all over application. I use a kabuki brush to accomplish this as my regular loose powder brush doesn't work too well with it. Not a bad product but the price is a bit prohibitive and there are other alternatives that perform exactly (or better) than this for cheaper.

My experience with this mascara is so-so and it doesn't accomplish anything extra that other cheaper brands do. In short, it's just average. The plus side is it didn't clump my eyelashes and didn't give me the spider legs effect but...it didn't give me much definition either. For daytime wear, this is OK, especially if you're going for the neutral look but if you're looking for the "false eyelashes" effect, you might want to look elsewhere.

I have one in "Brun" and "Bronze" and I like the fact it has 4 complimentary colors for a portable "no brainer" color combo. Perfect for traveling. Yes it's expensive but the color pay-off is excellent so a little of it goes a long way. I love the smooth consistency and blendabilty, provided I use my eyeshadow brush as opposed to the one that comes with this, which is basically useless in my opinion.
