This is a great heated eyelash curler! I was having a problem with traditional eyelash curlers - they were just bending my lashes. With this heated lash curler, my eyes look so much more open and my lashes look so much longer. I use the Shu lash curler before applying mascara and then this Panasonic heated lash curler after I apply mascara and my lashes hold a curl all day long. Really makes a big difference in how much longer my lashes look and how much bigger my eyes look. It provides enough heat to be useful, but not enough that you could easily burn yourself. I hold it flat against my lashes at the base and then bend it so that it bends my lashes straight up and hold for a few seconds. There is a little comb like attachment that you can slip off the end. I take this off about once a week and just wipe it well with a paper towel to remove any mascara that has built up on it. I dropped it after I had it for about a year and broke it (completely my fault, not an issue with quality) and I thought I would try a similar one that was less expensive. That was a mistake! I learned my lesson, bought a replacement Panasonic and will do the same when mine needs to be replaced.

This is my second epilator. The first one was OK, but it kept eating up batteries like crazy, so I went looking for a rechargable model. Well I found this one and LOVE it!! It's got more tweezer discs than the other one so it removes hair quickly. For the first few months it would hold a charge for a nice long time and recharges fairly quickly. You can also use it plugged in to an outlet, so if it runs out of charge or you forget to recharge it, you can still us it. But after six months or so I found that it's charge wasn't lasting as long and if it isn't fully charged, it doesn't work near as well. So I've ended up using it as a plug in model. Pretty disappointing because this rechargable model was more expensive than the ones you use plugged in - which is now the only way I use it. It really works great though. It removes the hair on my legs with ease and after a few times there is no pain. The first few times it feels kind of like getting snapped with a rubber band. I also use it for the peach fuzz on my upper lip and have to admit that it is a little more sensative in this area, so there is a little more of a sensation of pulling the hairs out. I don't want to say pain because I don't want to scare anyone off, and pain is really too harsh of a word. But be mindful of using it on your upper lip just below your nose. I find this to be the most sensative part of my face and it can often sting a bit. Also, use a gentle cleanser and gentle skin care products on your face after epilating so that you don't get any irritation. I also don't use any body lotion on my legs after epilating. I have never gotten up the courage to use it on my under arms. Guess I'm a little too chicken for that!

The "light brown" color of this pencil is such an odd shade! Somewhere between an auburn and a strawberry blonde with a lot of orange in it?! I actually really liked the pencil, so it was really disappointing that the color is so awful. It goes on smooth and natural looking and seems like it would wear well and not disappear if you get a little sweaty. What a let down the color is! I always use a blonde or light brown brow color and have never experienced a color like this. It truly is the oddest color that is so difficult to describe - almost clown like. The non sharpening, automatic pencil feature is nice and the tip a good size. The attached brow brush is soft, but stiff enough to blend the color nicely. What a shame...

After reading the reviews and seeing the price, I decided I really had nothing to loose. If it didn't work, I'd only be out a few dollars. Well... I am out those few dollars. I used it nightlyfor approximately 2 months, on my lashes and brows, but nothing! And I mean NOTHING! No new growth in my eyebrows at all. There was also no difference in my lashes, no new growth, no increase in length or fullness - nothing. Unfortunately, this product didn't help me at all. The one positive thing I can say is that it wasn't irritating to my skin. But with so many positive reviews and such an inexpensive price, it still may be worth a try for most. Good luck!

Max Resurfacing Facial Cleanser is the first Roc product I've tried and I like it quite well. At less than $8.00, this cleanser has a nice amount of grainyness to it, to give a good daily exfoliation. The grains are smooth enough to not be irritating, but tough enough for some great skin smoothing! The creamy base to the cleanser is hydrating, but not too much - I think those with oily skin would still be happy with it. It's also great for removing every trace of makeup. I like to use this occasionally with my Clarisonic to give an even more exfoliating cleansing. In the shower, at the skink, morning or night, this quickly became a cleanser I will use again and again. It leaves my skin soft, smooth, and bright.

OPI has a huge selection of great nail polish colors. They are a little on the expensive side ranging from around $8.00 to $12.00 depending on the color and if it's a limited edition. This polish wears well, although I have to say that I like Essie better for long wearing on my finger nails. My toe nails I can keep polish on until it stars growing out, so that is were I wear OPI more often. You can find colors to suit every mood and whim you might have or to match just about any outfit you can come up with. They also offer a few treatment products to help with strength, chipping, etc... They have these new Sheer Tints that I can't wait to try. There is a great video on OPI's web site that shows what they are. They look super vibrant in the bottle, but when you apply them they are very sheer - wear them alone for a really pretty light look or apply one over any polish and get an interesting shade difference. These look really fun and a great way to update some colors you don't wear any more or vary the colors you have without having to buy more bottles.

I don't usually like beach sprays or salt sprays because they typically leave my hair feeling dirty and heavy. I know hair that is a little dirty styles and holds a style better, but these types of products go beyond that little bit of dirty to down right nasty. But... this one by Oribe is different! When I spray a few sprays into my wet hair it gives my fine, thin hair just enough texture to make it easier to style. Plus it adds a ton of body and volume. If I need a little more oomph, or want to target a specific area after drying my hair, I can spray a little extra in to add more body. This spray doesn't leave my hair looking or feeling greasy and the smell is light and fresh and quickly disappears. I did realize fairly quickly though that if I apply too much I can get almost too much volume - not something I would normally think was possible. Over the years my hair has become increasingly more thin and less of it, so a product that can give me boarder line TOO MUCH volume is pretty amazing. I'm an 80's girl and wish this product had been around back when big hair and shoulder pads were the norm! The things I could have done with my hair with this stuff...

Clarisonic Daily Cleanser is a wonderful every day cleanser to use with any of the Clarisonic brushes. It's gentle, but effective for my combination skin. I have very combination skin - oily nose and the part of my cheeks that are near my nose, dry forehead and normal on the rest of my face (chin, cheeks). This cleanser leaves my skin feeling very clean, but very soft and comfortable, never dry and / or tight feeling. It doesn't provide much, if any, lather, which is hard for me to get used to. Foam is what makes me feel like a cleanser is being productive, but once I got used to the fact that this cleanser doesn't, I really like the way it leaves my skin feeling. It's more expensive than I usually spend on a facial cleanser ($25.00 for a full size tube), but I only need a small amount, so a tube lasts quiet a long time. And I can find it cheaper on Ebay from time to time, so that helps. A great all around cleanser!

I never gave much thought to what type of lip balm I used. When I started buying more organic foods, I remembered reading somewhere about how many pounds of lipstick a woman eats in her lifetime and realized my lip balm was an important thing to change as well. My best friend told me about EOS lip balm spheres and I bought my first one. Then I bought my second and my third - all in different yummy flavors! The honeydew is my most favorite, but honestly I haven't found a bad flavor yet. I saw a similar product at Walgreens, that was a Walgreens brand and it was a lip balm in the same spherical shape. Please don't be fooled into buying this as I was. It's definately not worth the few pennies that you can save. Stick with EOS! I make sure to apply it every night before bed and it keeps my lips soft and smooth and I never have to worry about chapped lips. I live in south west Florida, so cold weather isn't much of an issue, but we occassionally get a wonderful cold snap during the winter months, so I use this lip balm more often then. It glides on so smoothly with the sphere shape and it feels so good. Never sticky or tacky, just moisturizing and wonderful. The only negative is that there is a good amount of lip balm left in the sphere that you can't easily get to once you've used it down to the bottom. But... a Qtip or even a finger nail and you can scrape out a bunch more product.

Essie by far my favorite brand of nail polish! They are worth every cent of the $8.00 the cost. I try to find them on sale or on ebay, but I don't mind at all if I find a color I really want - like For the Twill of It. It's this really cool, modern color that is kind of like flip flop paint. It's a mix of green and purple - I know that may not sound pretty, but it's GORGEOUS! It has a swirly metallic sheen to it. If you like a really dark color, For the Twill of It is a beautiful change of pace instead of black, I wear it on my toes often, all seasons of the year. Essie polishes wear better and longer on my finger nails than other brands (even other pricey brands). I can apply two coats of color and a top coat and trust that it will still look good several days later. With other brands I am lucky if my polish isn't chipped the next day. They offer a HUGE range of colors, some varying just a small amount so you can almost always find the exact shade you are searching for. The colors also look very close on your nails as it does in the bottle, something that is not always the case with other brands. They are always adding new colors and have seasonal shades too. And I have bottles that I have had for years that are still perfect - not all glopy and goopy and unusable like many brands. They may separate a little, but a minute of good shaking and they're good as new! If you couldn't tell - I LOVE this brand!
