I was lucky enough to receive these for free on Totalbeauty. I like the concept of these because I hate dealing with the mess. The instructions say that these do not require warming between the palms in order for it to work so I was assuming that the wax would be strong enough to remove hair. I used this on my peach fuzz on my face and it did not remove anything at all. So disappointed. Granted my hair wasn't 1/2 inch long like how they recommended and to be honest my hair never grows that long on my face anyways. All this product did was leave behind a sticky annoying residue. Good thing they provided post wipes to remove the residue but what's up with all these wax strips only providing 4 post wipes when there's 40 wax strips in here.

I was excited to be one of the lucky reviewers to receive this product for free to review. I like the concept of strips like these because I hate having to deal with the mess. I've tried the Sally Hansen strips like these and those did a little bit better to remove hair than this. Even though it didn't remove as well as I would have liked, this product when I used it on my armpit removed NOTHING at all. All it did was leave this tacky sticky mess behind. Even when I looked at the strip I did not see a single hair on there and my hair was the recommended length to remove which is 1/2 inch. The only good thing about this kit is the post wipes because it did a splendid job of removing the leftover wax under my arms.

I was not aware that this was a "light" conditioner. I only bought this as the counterpart to the Body Full shampoo I got. The shampoo left my hair super tangled and dry so I was hoping this would condition my hair like it's supposed to but it did not get rid of any of my tangles or hydrate my hair at all like how most conditioners do. I used one and a half pump of this from the liter I got and I figured with that much, it would do the trick but it did not. Sadly disappointed that my first experience with Redken didn't turn out so well.

My coworkers at Ulta seems to love Redken products and not to mention, our salon only uses this brand on clients. One of my coworkers was like she's never tried a bad product from Redken and it had me sold when we had our liter sale so I decided to buy this in the liter size since it was way cheaper than the regular size. I was highly disappointed by this shampoo. It did nothing to volumize my fine hair. In fact, I feel like this tangles my hair like crazy. It's super watery and doesn't sud up nicely. I swear I need at least a handful of this product in order for it to lather to my liking. And I have shoulder length hair. I don't mind the scent at all although it does have more of a masculine scent. Never going to buy this product again once I run out.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day 5-in-1 Styling Treatment
First product I've tried from Living Proof!!!
I'm so glad I received a sample of this from Ulta. I've always heard good things about this line but I'm so hesitant to buy it because of the price tag and I'm usually really low maintenance on my hair so it doesn't make sense for me to buy a $27 bottle of a hair product. Having Jennifer Aniston as a co-owner on this brand should have sold me already because I've always been envious of her hair when I watch her on "Friends." But I wanted to go cheap. I normally never spend more than $15 for hair products but I have to say this stuff is absolutely amazing and does what it's supposed to do. I really like the scent on this as well. It is a lotion texture and I highly agree with the other reviewers that a little bit goes a long way. I only use about a nickel size for my entire hair. I was scared that this would weigh down my hair because of the lotion texture but I'm highly impressed that it was super lightweight. It really smooths and volumizes my hair like it claims. I have to say that this works better on damp hair and not dry hair if you ever wanted to take that route. When I used this on my dry hair, I noticed the difference right away. It felt a little bit heavier and not as smooth so I highly suggest to use this on damp hair like what the instructions say.

But I can really feel the cooling sensation around my eyes. I feel like it really does well for tightening like the cooling sensation has helped to make my eye area firmer. I'm 27 so I don't really have wrinkles around my eyes yet so I can't review it on that since there's really not a before or after to compare. I just like the fact that this feels like it tightens the skin around my eyes. I've used the sample I got for two weeks now and it feels like my eye area has become firmer. I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for something hydrating but it works wonders for oily and normal skin.

And I have to say not bad. I received the full size of this from Ulta since I work there and after Bareminerals training the Bareminerals rep gave me this. I like how this is super foamy. Works amazingly well with my Clarisonic Mia 2. A little bit really goes a long way and foams up quickly. It's very creamy. At first when I used this I wasn't too fond of it because it leaves a rubbery feeling on the skin which I do not prefer. I like my skin to feel smooth and feel exactly like my own skin only cleaner, not some rubbery feeling. But after using this for a month and a half since the whole entire bottle lasted that long I got used to it and don't mind it as much anymore. I don't know if I would call this "gentle" just because it can get really soapy and sting the eyes a lot if anywhere near the eyes and the smell kind of reminds me of laundry detergent but it does a wonderful job of removing my makeup. I usually double cleanse anyway but even when I only cleanse my skin once, the toner I use after this barely has any residue left on the cotton pad so I know it's doing a good job removing makeup. Even though it washes off makeup well, it doesn't leave the skin super tight or dry. Makes it really "plush" hence the name.

I know this is called a "radiance" foundation but it made me look super oily. And I have oily skin so... not a good match. I get dry during the winter so sometimes I need a little glow during that time. I cannot wear this alone. I would need a little mattifying powder on top because this is so slick. I got this in the Light color and it looks really salmon sort of like a peachy color. I have yellow undertones so I didn't think this would be a good match. However, it was so sheer and blended out nicely that it matched my skin perfectly. This isn't a full coverage foundation as they claim. Like I mentioned, it is very sheer and reminds me of a tinted moisturizer, not a foundation. With two layers on I can get a medium coverage. I like how this is not cakey at all with two layers on. On the downside, it feels like it never really sets because it moves around and looks shiny and when I touch my face after several minutes to see if it set, it still transferred badly onto my finger and remains tacky. This also claims to have a natural finish which is sort of contradicting each other because people's skin do not generally glow this much. Their other claim is that this corrects skin tone which I highly agree upon. I can see a dramatic difference when I applied this to half of my face. It got rid of the redness around my nose and covered some of my hyperpigmentation. Overall, I do not like this foundation because it's a little too slick so it feels heavy on my skin but if I set this with powder on top, I like the finish.

I used to think all powders were created equal. How I'm completely wrong. I got this as Ulta's beauty steals for only $12 so it doesn't hurt to try it. Besides I've heard great things about It Cosmetics and I love their CC cream. Unfortunately, this product is a miss for me. My ELF HD powder is so much better than this and way more affordable too. Even though this powder is finely milled, it clinged onto my foundation in a horrible way that doesn't want to blend out if I try to brush it off after I bake my undereye area. It will leave a line under my eyes where the baked product settled and no matter how hard I try to blend it out so it's seamless, I ended up washing off my entire makeup. This product claims to blur pores hence the name but it did the opposite of that. It settled into all my pores making them so much more noticeable and made my foundation look super blotchy. The powder is also very rough so it's not really a "silk" powder. I love my Tarte Smooth Operator so much and I thought this would compare but nope. I'll pass.

I bought this after rave reviews on Youtube. I was pretty disappointed that the great reviews didn't live up to this powder. I have oily skin and I was hoping this powder would help to control oil but after 15-30 minutes of this on, I was super greasy. This does little to help with oily skin so I think it would fit more for dry skin people. This powder doesn't have a lot of fallout but I find that the product is kind of hard so it doesn't transfer on to my brush well which in a way isn't bad since it's hard to overdo this product and it does not look powdery or cakey at all. This powder is good if you want a semi-matte look without looking too matte and it gives my skin such an airbrushed finish even though it's not as oil-controlling as I would have liked. I noticed the longer I wear this, the more flawless my face looks. I use this during the winter and I love it so much better in the winter than in the summer. Really sets my makeup and makes my foundation look ten times better.
