This is very mattifying when I applied it to my face but the only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't spread well. It has this friction to it that dries instantly as soon as it touches my face so it's hard to spread around my face without rubbing too hard. I don't like how this dries really fast in the tube. It hardens after a couple of uses and doesn't have the same consistency anymore once it's exposed to air. I do, however, like that it's mattifying for my oily skin.

I got this in a set and I love these wayyyy better than the Urban Decay liners which I do not like those at all. I find that this is super pigmented, smooth, and creamy without tugging on my lids. I can use this on my waterline and it will not budge. The only gripe I have about this is that I wish it came with a sharpener on the end which it doesn't so I always have to sharpen this with my Almay pencil that actually comes with a sharpener. Not much to say about this liner. Works good as a black base and liner and stays put all day. I reach for it often and so easy to to use when I'm on a time crunch.

Don't really get the hype on these. I didn't realize these were gel-powder formulas. That's a unique concept. I've never heard of gel-powder eyeshadows before but I have heard of gel to powder eyeshadow. I decided to try these shadows out that came in a palette that was on sale at Sephora since Make Up For Ever is super pricey so I'll take what I can get at the lowest price just to try it out. I agree that these are pigmented but it's a hit and miss as with most shadows. For most colors, I have to build the color layer by layer to achieve a really pigmented look which I don't like. I don't have all the time in the world to keep building the intensity. I find that these definitely work better with my finger than a brush which is my biggest gripe because I like to be fancy with my eyeshadow like placing them in my crease or outer corner; I cannot really do that with my finger. These shadows do not have any fallout at all because it's more of a cream eyeshadow but still has a powder consistency to it. These shadow are super smooth and creamy and I'm surprise it doesn't dry out at all like with most cream eyeshadows I've used in the past. I like the bouncy creamy texture to this but this is not my cup of tea and not an eyeshadow that I can get a perfect look in a jiffy so I had to return this.

Glad I received a deluxe sample of this from Ulta cause this is $80 for a bottle! Geez... This product claims to firm, brighten, and hydrate to minimize signs of aging at the delicate eye area. The eye-brightening complex in here helps to reduce dark circles and under-eye puffiness while illuminating the eye area. My eyes are not that wrinkled yet but I did have some wrinkles showing on my right eye which is still there after using this. I like how this is not greasy at all but I can feel the hydration. It's a very light moisturizer for the eye area. I did noticed that it really improved my skin texture around the eye, making it more elastic and plump. My undereye circles are still there so didn't really do much to lighten or brighten my undereye area.

I've never heard of this brand before nor did I see this brand in any store. I received a good deluxe sample of this from Birchbox so I think it might be only exclusive to Birchbox. At first I wasn't really fond of the scent but this stuff works so well that I hardly ever notice it anymore. Not sure what the scent reminds me of because it's kind of unique. It smells kind of perfumey but has a sweet scent to it too. I love how this stuff detangles my hair so well and makes it super soft without a lot of product weighing my hair down. This is more of a thermal protector if you heat style your hair a lot. This doesn't control frizz which it doesn't claim to do anyways. I agree with everything this product claims to do and that's why I gave it 10 stars. It's a UV protector, seals cuticle, smoothes hair, locks in color, adds shine, weightless, non-greasy (definitely agree on this), and conditions. Normally I'm pretty low maintenance on my hair and only use shampoo and conditioner but I find myself reaching for this a lot because it has really made a difference that I noticed right away so that really does say something. Tati on YouTube recommends this so much and I second that!

I cannot believe I haven't discovered this earlier! After years and years of impatiently waiting for my nails to dry and my nail polish smudging and denting after "thinking" they were dry already, I have found this gem of mine and it's affordable! I might try the Essence dry drops too since it's like $4 cheaper than this one but a lot of people say it was more greasy than this one. Every time I walk into Ulta I'm always telling the staff that I want a fast drying polish because nail polishes don't dry fast enough for me and my kids are always begging me to pick them up. They always recommend drying drops which I'm kinda reluctant to buy because I'm thinking to myself what good is a nail polish if I have to put an additional thing on top. Isn't it supposed to work on its own? So I refrained from trying drying drops for the longest time because of this reason, thinking that I can still possibly find a great nail polish that dries without denting and smudging on me even though it's dry to the touch. I finally caved when to my dismay, no polish dries fast enough completely within a good amount of timeframe. I finally searched on Ulta website to see reviews on drying drops and this one rated really high. I have to say it works wonders like I've seen magic for the first time. It's basically an oil drop for your nails and I only need one to two drops and my nail polish is completely dry within 10 minutes. The instructions say 2 minutes which is not true because I still found this to smudge and dent during those 2 minutes so I would suggest waiting a while longer. This is super easy to use. It doesn't smudge or dent anymore if you wait at least 10 minutes. And the best part, even though it's an oil, my nails and fingers do not feel greasy afterwards. I have already recommended this to my sisters and sisters in laws since we all love painting our nails and every one of them seems to have the same problem I do. I am however still on the hunt for a drying drop that dries faster if possible.

I've never tried lashes that were made out of 100% human hair. At Ulta, we don't sell them. My aunt wears Kiss lashes all the time and she loves them so when I discovered these at Cub Foods I decided to try them since I haven't really seen this brand in stores. I love how these lashes are the perfect length to fit my eyes. No trimming needed. The band on here is great too since it's not too thick or too fragile. These claim to be lightweight. However, I do not think they are lightweight at all. They are the most heaviest lashes I have ever worn in my entire life. I can totally tell I have them on and they weigh down my eyes all the time I wear them. Even though these are 100% human hair, they look completely fake and does not look natural at all. They make my eyes look droopy and doesn't give that lift that I desire.

First time I've bought falsies more than $10 and I have to say it's worth it. I like how these actually lift up and make my eyes look wide awake. I got such a good deal on these since I'm an Ulta employee (45% off). No harm in trying these out. I have tried the Ardell Demi Wispies that EVERYONE raves about and I have to conclude that I do not like those and for one main reason only. They have this droop in the center of the lashes that doesn't make the lashes lifted. It makes my eyes look super droopy. With these lashes however, I noticed the difference right away. They are super lightweight and doesn't weigh my eyes down. My lashes look super full and lifted and the length is perfect for a not-so-natural look or too dramatic look. The two bad thing I have to say about this is that first of all, I wish it came with instructions on the front that tells me how to open the case. Love the clear plastic case by the way. Super sturdy and easy for storage so my lashes don't get messed up. I had trouble opening this at first. I mean I finally figured that it slides open and not open like a can. I almost broke the case trying to open it. Please tell me I'm not the only dumbo who attempted this. The second gripe I have about these lashes is that the band on this is pretty thick so you will have to flex it a little bit or else if your glue is not strong enough, the inner part will lift up. I've had mine for 7 uses now and it still looks good so hopefully it'll last through 10 uses like it's supposed to. These were all minor gripes that once I figured it out, there was no point in docking a point off since they are my holy grail lashes and I reach for this all the time.

I wanted a flat contour brush so bad to find a good dupe for Nars Ita brush but didn't want to spend $55 for a brush. I decided to try this out when it was buy 1, get 1 free at Ulta. This brush is on the pricier side too. It was $25.99 but with my employee discount I paid about $22 for it. Still pretty pricey for a "drugstore" brand. I know a lot of people rave about the packaging on this but I actually hate how Real Techniques design their brushes. The handle on this is way too long and too pointed that I feel like I might accidentally stab myself. This is weighted at the tip and I find it to be so imbalanced when I use it. Supposedly it's weighted for better control and comfort but I didn't find that that concept worked for me. The bristles are also too short and dense to blend out cream or powder contour. It was also too wide and not thin enough for me to contour my nose. I find this good to draw the contour line (like any other flat brush will do) but would have to use a separate brush to blend it out. Such a hassle when this brush isn't suppose to do what it's suppose to do. This brush got a lot of good reviews on Ulta's website but I did not like it at all. So needless to say I returned this right away.

I feel like this concealer/highlighter type thing really does work to make you look more well rested and awake. It doesn't have shimmer in it but it's the pink tone in here that really brightens up the face. Something about it catches the light in a really subtle and natural way. Also, the pink in here isn't too extreme where it looks extremely pink on the face. It gives just the right amount of a touch of color to brighten. This is really creamy and smooth. I was surprise to find that it had some coverage. Not really a light coverage but for me I can build it up to a medium coverage if I wanted to. However, I find that there are cheaper alternatives out there like Maybelline's Dream Lumi or L'oreal's highlighter pen. This isn't a total game-changer and as unique as it really is. I just can't justify the price for this.
