Like some Tarte products I've tried, they tend to run very orange. I'm usually the color Light Medium Neutral in their liquid foundation and so I grabbed this, thinking that I would be the same color. This is not the case. This powder runs darker and very orange. For a powder foundation, it does have coverage but just did not match my face at all. The other colors below this seems to run too white on me too. I like the mesh cover packaging on this because it doesn't get everywhere and I can just dip my brush in and I get the right amount of color on my brush. Tarte just needs to stop making their products so orange. I don't think I've ever heard of a powder foundation that oxidizes until now. I even color matched this product to clients when they come into Ulta and it still oxidized on their fair skin as well.

I got this for free as my birthday gift at Ulta. I've always wanted to try this because a lot of YouTube gurus rave about this making their lashes longer and fuller. The formula on this isn't too thick or too watery but my biggest gripe is that it feels like it never fully dries. Even when it's on my eyes, I can still feel it moving around. It's so annoying. I am left with raccoon eyes and feel extremely self-conscious with this on. It smudges like crazy. You have to curl your lashes really well or else your lashes will droop down when this is applied because this formula isn't one to lift and create volume. Don't really see what all the hype is about. If you already have beautiful curled lashes, then this would be what you're looking for to give it a little more life but I don't recommend it for people who are looking to make a dramatic difference to their lashes.

I like this palette better than the Naked palettes from Urban Decay because unlike those ones, I have more variety of shimmery, transition, and crease shades in here. I feel like Tarte has decided to follow suit with Too Faced by making their palettes scented now. This palette smells like vanilla. My BIGGEST gripe about this palette is that it has two black shadows in here. Two! It was as if Tarte decided to throw in a color without much effort just to fulfill a 12-pan palette. Smokeshow and Activist are pretty much the same color except that Smokeshow has a grayer undertone to it but on the lid, it looks the same. They should have offered us a more orange reddish shade because Rebel is too brown and I would like more contrast when it comes to my crease shade. These shadows are pigmented but they're not the easiest to blend in my opinion. I felt like I really had to work hard at layering and blending to get the effortless blended look I wanted. The nice thing about this is that there's not a lot of fallout.

I feel like this mascara doesn't get enough hype at all. One day I was working at Ulta and finally a guest comes in and raves about this mascara. She comments that she hardly has lashes at all and this mascara gives her so much volume that it looks like she actually has lashes. I couldn't agree more! I got a deluxe size of this with my Stila purchase from Ulta and my first impressions of this blew me out of the water. The brush and packaging is really similar to the TF Better than Sex mascara and I'm not too fond of that mascara compared to other people so I thought, 'Oh my god, another knockoff.' I was left very impressed. It gave my lashes so much lift and volume without clumping at all. I also love how the hourglass brush just hugs every lash. I noticed the wand on this is a tad smaller than the Too Faced one so it works better to get the bottom lashes as well. I'm super picky about my mascaras but this is by far one of my top shelf products. The only bad thing I have to say about this is that I'm very self-conscious when I wear this because it does smudge a little. I would have to put a waterproof top coat mascara on top of this if I don't want it to smudge so much. This was almost a home run if Stila decides to keep the same formula but make it so that it doesn't smudge anymore.

I currently own the Mind version where the colors are all matte but before I had the Spirit palette and I swapped it out for this one. My biggest gripe about these palettes is that all the colors are very similar and there's not a lot of contrast between them. The shimmery colors and matte colors have different formulas. The shimmery colors are very pigmented and have a softer more buttery texture, whereas the matte formula is very stiff with not a lot of fallout but it makes it hard to pick up on the brush. Because the matte formula is very stiff, it also makes it hard to blend out and I had to layer it until I got the intensity I liked. Because of all the blending the colors turned out muddy. I would pass on this palette. The quality's not there.

Did TotalBeauty just posted this product up because I was really expecting way more reviews on this? This has been floating and raved about around the YouTube community like crazzzyyyy and when this came as a sample with my Ulta purchase, I knew I had to try this out before it went out of stock. I'm so glad I tried this. Now I'm a believer although I wouldn't necessarily pay $38 for the full size since I still think you can find comparable dupes at a drugstore price. (Ah-hem, Makeup Revolution highlighters!) The shimmers in here are so finely milled that it looks like I'm glowing from within. This is a very strong highlighter but not too much pigmentation that it looks unnatural either. I hate subtle highlighters and this hits the spot. It also lasts a decent amount of time although I do have to touch up halfway through the day.

This is now one of my favorite cleansers ever! I wasn't expecting much from this cleanser but I find myself reaching for this a lot and that really says something when I have other cleansers to go through. I like the milky gel texture of this and how it got rid of all my makeup. It's perfect and suited for all skin types and I have oily skin. It makes my skin really soft afterwards without stripping away my natural oil or leaving behind a residue but I can honestly feel that my skin is clean. I love that it doesn't burn or sting my eyes like other cleansers that do a really good job of removing makeup. I would have liked this better if it lathers up more so I can use it with my Clarisonic. It's not really good for that purpose because the product doesn't spread easily on the face and just performs like a foam cleanser if you were to use it with a Clarisonic. Using this product with your hands works so much better. Highly recommend!!!

I got a deluxe sample of this and right away I noticed how cakey it is. I tried using this to conceal my brows and it ended up a hot mess and didn't glide on as smoothly as I would like. I used this under my eyes and it was cake alert. Good thing I didn't pay for this because it would have been one of my biggest regrets. I wish it was creamier. You definitely do not need to add a powder on top of this or else it will become even more cakey. It offers pretty good coverage but it has more of a pink undertone to it than a yellow undertone. This is best applied with your finger because the warmth of your finger will melt the product a little bit so it's not too cakey.

After using this, I noticed how glowy my skin looked WITH JUST ONE PAD! Can't believe anything would ever have the power to do this. So impressed. I like how my skin looked radiant but without looking oily and it didn't leave any sticky or oily residue. It does what it's supposed to do and exfoliates well without being too rough on my skin. Will definitely be repurchasing.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration
Might have to give this a go during the winter....
I received a sample of this during the summer so it was hard to tell if it really worked since my skin is more oilier than dry during the summer. However, I love how this makes my skin so soft without that rubbery feeling. It's a thicker cream and the scent is not too overpowering. It smells kind of like plastic to be honest. It's not super pleasant but not unpleasant either. I've tried two First Aid Beauty stuff so far and they've really impressed me but geez, the price point. Yikes! Will definitely be looking for some dupes.
