This really is a very mild cleanser however I had to wash my face a couple times after this to get rid of any foundation, eye and lip makeup in order to ensure cleanliness. I still was able to find some tint on my white towel so this is usually good if you aren't using cosmetics already and before apply cosmetics. This hasn't had any negative effect on my sensitive skin though.

Moisturizer, no matter what was in it that I've used in the past has made my skin oily, break out, cause it to turn red, and irritate my skin. This is hard to find but I usually can find it at WalMart, however, no so often at Target for unknown reasons. I apply it and it does smooth out the texture of my skin, after a few days, my acne blemishes were gone, my face less red, and I noticed my skin glow. Even in the winter where my skin can get pretty dull, it becomes radiant after this use. It can be used as a primer to make pores minimal and it makes makeup look more flawless over this without making it look too built up. This has no benzoyl peroxide or salycilic acid in it so for those who suffer irritation and see no improvement can give this a try and it has been effective for me. It makes my skin look better.

This product has been a lifesaver for me. I spent so many years suffering acne and benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid washes would irritate my skin, dry it out, turn it red, and cause more flare ups on my skin. This was perfect for me. This aided very greatly in clearing my skin, making my skin look clean, less rough, and reduced shine. Because this has gentle exfoliants in it, it will not scar or break any vessels in the skin and is effective and mild enough to use daily. This does has a bothersome scent but it doesn't linger after it is washed off. Then again, what chemical formulation to better the skin doesn't? I'd prefer it over the scent of benzoyl peroxide.

This is a lightweight makeup for the face and it can and should be used minimally to avoid the cakey look. It does have a nice matte look but after a couple hours, I did find my T-zone oily and I'd have to blot my skin with a tissue or tap it with the sponge to avoid the excess. Always remembering to wash the sponge often is good advice to avoid any bacteria breeding in it, keeping the skin clean. The issue that I do have with this is that I could never find the exact skin shade for me, personally, because I'm Asian, my skin is yellow based and lot of mass retail market foundations don't have yellowed based foundations or makeup so it made me peachy or pink, I'd have to blend it really well and top it off with finishing powder to minimize it so I'd only recommend it to people who have pink or peach undertones. It didn't break me out but like all make up, the skin should be washed before going to bed at night or you will wake up with small irritation bumps from clogged pores that the makeup, dirt and oil has gotten into that will go away after thoroughly washing the face and continuing a healthy skin regimen.

This product, in my opinion, didn't suit it's price too well, after a week or two, I didn't see too much of a difference but I did notice my face turn red after each use so I put it aside in the bathroom cabinet and haven't returned to it. The scent was at first pleasant but overtime it's became something I grew to dislike because it's a soft scent with a bit of chemical aroma. I probably should have used this product longer but it was irritating my skin and causing irritation around my face.

This was a mild, gentle toner. This isn't like the astringents out in the market where you have to feel stings on your facial area; it's effective but able to soothe the most sensitive skin. After a couple uses, my skin has felt softer and more supple. However, after a few days of use, I will find that that mid day I may find my skin a bit more shinier so oil blotting sheets are recommended for people who have oily skin. It really does feel like water being brushed against the skin and overnight, it will leave the skin feeling refreshed in the morning. I had the least breakouts with my acne prone skin with this so I do recommend it for everyone!

This product, if left on the skin too long will irritate the skin. I would use this to try to get rid of the acne spots such as dark pigmentation and I honestly would prefer to just wait the couple weeks for them to fade because using this product, I found my skin would be drying, irritated, and I experience redness post use. I also wasn't too fond of the chemical like scent and my skin felt itchy while the product was absorbing it.

I found this product a bit on the strong side. To use it, I think you'll have to swipe swiftly so the product doesn't overabsorb into the skin and dry. After a week of using this product, because it is salicylic acid, it does exfoliate and it made my fingertips and some facial areas dry and flaky. It's alright to use once in a while but constant usage of this will have that scaly effect on the skin.

If you use makeup, you might want to stay away from this unless you can apply a really, really thin layer. I usally use powder but what I find is a formula peeling effect where it can be applied on skin but if it's thick and dries while being applied, it'll have a glue like effect where pieces of it can be dried and into little residue particles. Not too great. Putting make up over this is a little odd as well because it can make powder look uneven.

This benzoyl peroxide formula like many others aren't great for sensitive skin and it will dry out some areas so people with dry skin are better off using a medication lotion or moisturizer. Also, as stated, yes, this will bleach just about anything it does come in contact with so be careful how and where you apply it because I have gone through several pajama tops that I had to set aside because the colors had faded on where it had contact with the benzoyl peroxide. Effective? Sometimes. It usually takes me three weeks to get my skin clear with this item but then I get the rough dry patches.
