Desert Essence Organic Tea Tree Oil

    Great brand for tea tree

I love Desert Essence for tea tree oil products. The 100% tea tree oil is a bit strong for me to use for acne. The have a blemish stick that is more gentle and effective for me. However, if I find that my whole face is breaking out I like to add a drop or two of this oil to my moisturizer. The moisturizer helps diffuse the oil so it isn't as harsh. I'd recommend starting with the tea tree blends for acne and working your way up to 100% tea tree. Tea tree is also great for cuts and burns, but once again, don't apply it directly. A couple of drops mixed in with a first aid cream does wonders. Overall a great oil!

    C.O. Bigelow Lemongrass Essential Oil

    Great mild lemon scent

I love mixing a bit of this with citronella in my oil diffuser to keep the bugs away in the summer. It has a great lemony scent without the acidic tang. I also like mixing a little with some body oil for a nice summer massage.

  • Burt's Bees Pedicure Kit, 1 kit

I don't know if I would buy this kit for myself since I already have a pumice stone and plenty of socks, but this is a great gift for Burt's fans. The plastic pouch is filled with a pumice stone (nothing special, just a regular pumice stone), a tube of foot creme and a pair of socks (usually yellow or white with a little bee embroidered on them, soooo cute). The creme is really thick and greasy, but I find it is great for my feet right before bed. You'll definitely use the socks to keep the creme on your feet and not on your sheets. Still, a great wait to get soft sandal-ready feet.

  • Burt's Bees Baby Bee Baby To Go Kit

Burt's Bees Baby Bee Baby To Go Kit

    Great baby shower gift!

This is a great baby shower gift. It comes with several Burt's Baby Bee line items. The talc-free baby powder is fabulous and the oil and lotion are also pretty nice. I've heard nice things about the diaper ointment for diaper rash, but since I don't have children I just use it for other reasons. The scent is a bit sickly sweet for my taste, but it isn't overpowering. The kit is also great for traveling with a baby since you can throw these smaller sizes in your bag instead of a full size.

  • Bath & Body Works Gentle Foaming Hand Soap

Bath & Body Works Gentle Foaming Hand Soap

Ok as far as foaming soaps

These soaps come in the regular range of awesome scents that Bath & Body sells. Some of the scents are a bit too overpowering for me or smell a bit fake but it is really easy to find a scent that you love. As far as foaming soaps go though, this isn't a great soap. I felt like it was a bit thin and a bit lacking in scrubbing power. I suppose it would be fine for bathroom hand washing, but it is anti-bacterial and I only like using anti-bacterial soaps when I've been handling raw meat or something like that. I wish Bath & Body would come out with some non-antibacterial soaps in their general line. Overall, it is an ok soap but not as good as some of Bath & Body's other soaps and foaming soaps from other brands.

  • The Body Shop Amorito Eau de Toilette
    9.0

The Body Shop Amorito Eau de Toilette

    My favorite Body Shop scent

This scent has an amaretto/vanilla scent that is great for men or women. The scent lasts a fairly long time, though I do find that it can't make it all the way through my work day. The price is pretty competitive for eau de toilettes and I haven't found anything to match this unusual scent anywhere else yet.

  • The Body Shop Coconut Perfume Oil

The Body Shop Coconut Perfume Oil

    Great coconut scent

Clean, natural coconut scent that doesn't smell fake or too strong. The oil lasts a fairly long time and a few drops are sufficient to make you smell fabulous. The Body Shop does my favorite coconut scented items so if you pair this with the coconut body butter you'll have an extra coconut boost. Great value for a good perfume oil also.

  • Kiss My Face Organic Sudz Bar Soaps -

These are pretty great organic soap bars. I've tried In the Pink and Rough Seas. In the Pink has an awesome scent and is a great all over bar soap. Rough Seas is a nice exfoliating bar. Both last a good while and have a nice lather as well as being nicely scented. They are both a bit pricey, but compared to Kiss My Faces Big Organic Soap Bars, I think these are a better deal for the quality of soap.

The Body Shop Lavender Essential Oil

    Great for relaxation!

This is a great oil for relaxation or to put in an oil burner before bed. It is fresh and lovely. The price is a bit high in my mind for the amount of oil that you get in this bottle. I also love putting a few drops of this on an old hanky or odd sock and throwing it in the dryer instead of a dryer sheet.

    C.O. Bigelow Citronella Essential Oil

    Good for repelling insects

I like using this stuff in my oil burner with a bit of lemongrass oil to keep bugs away in the summer. Mixed with a bit of sunscreen it is a natural if not as effective alternative to traditional bug spray. The scent is nice and kinda citrusy. Good essential oil!
