Wet n Wild MegaLiner Liquid Eyeliner

    Good color, great price.

First of all, this stuff is very inexpensive. I picked up mine on offer, buy one get one free at Walgreens, which ended up $1.50 a bottle. I prefer the MegaLiner applicator to the Wet n Wild H2O Proof Liner. It has a small brush which is pretty easy to control and make a fine, smooth line. However, if you are going for thrifty and waterproof, pick up the Wet n Wild H20 proof and an eyeliner brush instead as this stuff comes off fairly easily with just plain water. I wear a primer with all of my eye make-up and had great results with this stuff. I don't think the black and brown will replace my go to brands of liquid liner for everyday use, because although they are good, they aren't the same quality as the more expensive brands. If you are on a budget and don't mind a touch-up in the middle of the day, these will work. However, the turquoise is perfect for nights out when I want my eyes to really pop. It has great color saturation and it is great to get such an unusual shade for the price.

  • Dr. Hauschka Liquid Eyeliner

    Dr. Hauschka Liquid Eyeliner

    Long lasting eyeliner

I have this eyeliner in black and love it. The brush is really fine so I can get super thin lines. When I want to get a thick line it can be annoying because I have to build up several thin lines to get a thick one, but for me the control is worth it. The actual eyeliner is really nice also. It has a good color saturation, goes on smoothly and doesn't rub off easily. It is a bit pricey for liquid eyeliner, but the quality is high enough that I splurge for this stuff. Fabulous!

  • Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+

I always shake my head when I see reviewers complain about a product that isn't meant for them. This lotion is for very dry to dry combo skin. It shouldn't be used on oily skin. Okay, now that I've said that, I have dry skin and love this lotion. Sometimes in the winter I supplement this lotion with a heavier cream for my neck and cheeks and in the summer I usually use a lighter lotion, but for most of the year this is exactly what my dry skin needs. It penetrates quickly so if you are having trouble with it being to oily or not penetrating, you should probably get a product for normal or oily skin instead. I also love that it isn't heavily fragranced and that a little goes a long way.

  • Freeman Feeling Beautiful Cucumber Facial Peel-Off Mask

This is a great mask. It is inexpensive and great for sensitive skin. It peels off easily and leaves my skin feeling fresh and taut. The scent is pretty light and fresh and it is so fun peeling off the mask. Definitely worth a try!

Freeman Bare Foot Peppermint + Plum Foot Lotion

Great foot lotion for a great price!

I nice, rich lotion with a great peppermint tingle. This is thick, but it still absorbs fairly quickly. The best thing is that it works well and is super cheap! Pairs really well with the Freeman foot scrub.

Freeman Bare Foot Peppermint + Plum Foot Scrub

A great foot scrub at a great price

This is a great scrub for rough skin. It is a bit to rough to really exfoliate with your hands so a wash cloth or loofah is necessary, but it will help get your feet super smooth. It has a nice tingle and scent and the best thing is that it has a great price!

  • Gillette Venus Embrace Razor

    Gillette Venus Embrace Razor

    Pricey but very good razor

This is a really nice razor, the head pivots well and the five blades don't really need any pressure so I had no nicks or cuts while using this razor. The small green moisture strip and the blue around the blades left my skin feeling soft after shaving. The negatives are these are quite pricey blades that gunk up fairly quickly. During the winter I often use blades longer than normal because I'm not going for a close shave, but you can't really use this razor once the blades start dulling. I'd say the longest I've been able to use a cartridge would be a little less than a week. Overall I would recommend this razor over the regular Venus and a variety of its competitors.

  • bareMinerals Liner Shadow Duo

    bareMinerals Liner Shadow Duo

    Worth the extra effort

First things first, I find that I MUST use a primer whenever I use Bare Escentuals. I also make sure that I do my eye make-up first so that if any falls onto my cheeks I can wipe it off without worrying about any other make-up. If you love really crisp, clean lines quickly I wouldn't recommend the BE Liner Shadows. Mixed with water or glycerine you can get quite a smooth line, but it takes extra time and care. I have never had a problem with flaking like some of the other reviewers. With a primer I find that my make-up from BE stays on all day with really saturated colors. I think that is my favorite thing about them; the color in the pot is the color you get. I really love using them when I'm going for the smoky eye look.

  • Burt's Bees Bay Rum Men's Shaving Kit

Burt's Bees Bay Rum Men's Shaving Kit

    Good gift set, decent shave

This is a great idea for a gift, but you'll want to give it to a guy who already uses Burt's or isn't in love with his shaving foam. The soap scent is great, but it doesn't give the best lather out of shaving soaps I've used. It is still pretty good, but there are better shaving soaps out there. The cup and shaving brush in this kit are pretty nice too.

  • Earth Therapeutics Loofah Complexion Pads

    Earth Therapeutics Loofah Complexion Pads

Great way to turn any cleanser into an exfoliating one!

Each packet comes with three little loofah discs. The first time you put them in water they puff up a bit. Most of the pads have a smooth side and a rough side. I only use the smooth side for my face. I like to spread my cleanser on my face and then gently buff with a pad instead of buying something that exfoliates. I just adjust how hard I need to buff for my current exfoliating needs. These last quite a long time especially if you dry them out between uses. I'm a bit of a germaphobe so I occasionally microwave or boil mine to keep them clean. These are a great, inexpensive, eco-friendly way to keep your complexion glowing!
