This didn't do a darn thing for my hair. I think it might have even made it greasier. There also wasn't very much product in the can which really surprised me.

These are the top of the line product among candle companies. They come in so many different shapes and styles that you can find anything to suit your décor and changing tastes. I am especially fond of the mosaic and glass versions of these holders, as the light can really shine through the votive, making a very pretty centerpiece for any room. The quality on these is impeccable. I have never had one crack or chip on me, even after extended wear or leaving a candle to burn too long. Depending on the shape of the votive holder, I highly recommend using a smaller votive holder inside to help the candle burn better. Some of these are very wide at the base, making the candle spread out and not burn as well. This also makes clean up easier. I have dozens of these around the house and have never been disappointed.

This candle is a really interesting combination. Citrus scents can be very tricky to replicate in candles, but this one nicely succeeds. The vanilla undertone really cuts through the tartness of the lime and makes this candle very pleasant. As with many of the other citrus scents produced by the Yankee Candle Company, I do find that this scent can get a bit overpowering after an hour or so of burning. Still, the unique combination of scents makes this scent surprisingly complex so it certainly isn’t a one note scent. This makes me really thirsty and kind of smells like a cross between a margarita and a pina colada. This makes it perfect for summer days. As it can be a bit strong, I like to use it outside on the patio. The open air lets the candle shine but keeps it a bit lighter than when burned in an enclosed room.

Let me begin by saying that I am not a fan of lemon scents. All too often I find they smell unnatural with a bit of a chemical undertone. They just tend to smell off to me. That being said, I think that this candle is about as true to a lemon smell as you can get. It smells like you just sliced into a lemon, but a really really strong lemon. While this should smell fresh and light, it is extremely powerful. If used in a smaller room, like the laundry room, it becomes way too overpowering. I do like to use it in the kitchen though as it is a clean smell. If you are a fan of lemon scented products, you will probably love this. For me, it is just okay. Not one of my favorites, but certainly not a bad scent. It is just a bit too strong for me.

This candle smells exactly like the name and label indicate. It really does smell like the ocean! It has a bit of a salty smell and feel, which I love. It also has a bit of a musk to it to evoke the sand and just a hint of grass to get the sea grass in there. While I really love the complex scent of this candle, I find that it does burn a bit heavier than it smells in the jar. For this reason, I don’t use it as much as my other candles. After about an hour or so of burning, I find it just becomes too overpowering for me. The smell also lingers in the air long after burning, so at least you are getting your money’s worth. This scent is perfect for summer and really evokes a beach house feeling. Great for a warm summer’s day when you want to relax with a book.

I am not normally a big fan of floral scents. This midnight jasmine candle, however, is a big exception. I absolutely adore it! It really does smell like true jasmine and the scent is strong but not overpowering. It isn’t too sweet either. The midnight blooming part makes it smell just a bit heavier so the floral smell has this really interesting undertone that makes it more mature. It makes it smell a bit more heady, which I really love. I also love the color of this candle. The ivory is just so clean and fresh looking. This candle, like other Yankee Candle Company products, burns very well and I have never had any problems. It is the first candle I burn when spring is in the air but also transitions well into summer. This is just a great scent that you really can’t go wrong with and will be acceptable to even those who aren’t keen on florals.

These accessories are so much fun. They come in so many rotating styles and patterns that you can find something to suit your décor or the season. My favorites are the mosaic tiled ones as I find they are the prettiest when put over a burning candle. I tend not to like the solid ceramic ones as they don’t let the light through and don’t have the same ethereal effect that I love so much. I really like to have a Christmas themed one for the holiday season. Beyond aesthetics, these large jar shades also help the candle burn more evenly, extending the use time of the candle. These work best with the large Yankee Candle jars as they look the most balanced together in height, but they do also work with the medium sized jars as the size of the opening is the same on both. This really adds to the versatility of the shades.

These mosaic products are my favorite candle accessories from the Yankee Candle Company. They really look simply beautiful with a burning tea light or votive candle inside them. The quality on these is exceptional. I have had some of these mosaic votive holders for years and despite frequent use, I have never had a tile fall off or come loose. I’m not sure if these are hand made, but there is variation across how the tiles lay and how well they are grouted. I like to go into the store to be able to pick the right one as sometimes the tiles end up a bit crooked or the grout doesn’t extend all the way around the tiles or to the bottom. Occasionally, one of these will have a sharp edge so just be sure to check it over before purchasing. Other than that, these are lovely and ethereal! You really can’t go wrong.

This set is really super cute and makes a great gift. Some years you can make your own with any fragrances you want by just purchasing the tube and the plush topper. Other years, however, this product comes with a predetermined set of fragrances. This doesn’t bother me because they are always great holiday scents – sometimes including both new releases and old. As far as the plush topper, I’m not really sure what to do with it – maybe give it to a child or use it as a small decoration. I wish it was an ornament instead as it would be more useful. As far as value, it works out to be about the same price as if you bought the votives on your own for full price. If you are looking for a quick and easy gift, this is really cute, but value wise you are better off buying the individual votives when they go on sale for a dollar and then making your own mini gift basket.

This set is super cute and they come out with some version of it every year for the holidays, with each gingerbread house being just slightly different. It is a nice size, though smaller than one would expect. The tarts are really easy to put in the top and the house has a nice lip to prevent the burning wax from pouring over the side. I also really like that the opening to the tea light below is very large. This makes it much easier to blow out the tea light or even remove, replace, and light a new tea light while the wax on top is hot and melted. The only thing I dislike about this product is that you have to look through a lot of them to find one that is painted correctly. I find that the ceramic products from Yankee Candle Company have poor quality control in this way. Other than that, it is a really fun festive product!
