This product is a liquid moisturizer and claims to do the work of a moisturizer with the texture of a serum. The consistency is definitely lightweight -- way lighter than traditional moisturizers, but I felt like the moisture this product was more akin to what you'd get from an essence than a night cream. Also, Lancome has got to take it easier with their fragrance. This was so strongly scented, it was almost a turnoff.

When it comes out of the tube, this sunscreen looks like a million others -- I was sure it was going to be too heavy or too chalky because of its thick, creamy texture. However, I was pleasantly surprised when it sheered out beautifully on my face, leaving behind a soft matte finish that worked beautifully under makeup. The high SPF is definitely a perk. I'll keep reaching for this.

First of all, I appreciated how gentle this was on my eye area. I've found that a lot of products that claim to be safe for the eyes still sting my sensitive peepers. I also really liked the subtle scent, which reminded me of Living Proof's signature smell. Though I thought that this product was effective at removing makeup, I felt like I had to use a lot of it to get all my makeup off (I really had to go over my eye area several times), and at $26 it's not cheap to replenish.

The bottle looks gorgeous sitting on my vanity. Like most L'Occitane products, the fragrance is on the heavy side. The moisturizer is decent, but not mind-blowing.

The applicator disperses a fine mist that really feels cool and refreshing; however, I don't feel like this does much to hydrate or revive my skin long-term.

I'd definitely recommend this for those with oily skin. Sometimes toners are hard for me to get behind because I can't feel them working, but this one leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean, while wiping away -- and keeping at bay -- excess oils.

This was an above-average sheet mask. Though it's a little drippy, it clings to the face well, and while I was wearing it I could feel a tingling sensation that let me know it was working. I used it on a night I was battling a breakout, in hopes that it would help. By morning, many of my smaller pimples had faded, and my larger ones were reduced in size.

I am shocked by how much I like this stuff. When I first opened it and peeked inside at the product (which is a dry powder), I thought "not gonna work." However, once the powder mixes with water, it's actually pretty easy to use. The grain density is perfect. It feels like you're exfoliating your skin without rubbing it raw. Plus it cleanses at the same time, which saves you a step in the shower. It kind of reminds me of Dermalogica's Superfoliant...but for your skin. The price (around $9) isn't bad either.

L'Oreal Extraordinary Clay Pre-Shampoo Mask
Interesting Concept, But Not Sure It's Worth the Extra Step
This is an interesting product. It looks and feels like a clay mask you'd put on your face, but you apply it to your dry roots and let it sit for five minutes before shampooing it out. The idea is it'll soak up oils. Though the concept intrigues me, I don't know if this was worth the extra work. I feel like I could have gotten the same effect using a really good shampoo -- or a clarifying shampoo -- and bypassing the mask step altogether.

This seemed to help soften my strands, but I wasn't crazy about the packaging (I would have preferred a spray for even distribution). And I'm not sure that this was so effective that it warrants the steep price. Though it's probably too early for me to see long-term results.
