Goes on like a breeze. The slightest touch will blend it out. YOu can build it up or leave it sheer. Stays very well. Depending on what color you get will determine how long it will last. I have tried several colors but always have candy apple as it is the deepest color. It goes on more sheer, so do not panic! But this one lasts a long time compared to the other colors.

I love this type of blush but not tarts!! It is so tacky and sticky and stays that way. The SA always says that the sticky feeling will go away....NOT!!! I have been trying it over and over every time I am in Sephora but it always remains the same.

These have strong color. Apply with a light hand. You can always add more. This blush gets high ratings everywhere. Paula gives it a high rating also. So even though I never wear powder blushes I decided I would give it a try. I chose Taos. Not too pink, not to orange, but just right, and not too much shimmer. It's application is good for a powder blush but you do need to blend, blend, blend as the colors are strong. Wearability is good. I am still undecided as rather it is a keeper or not. I will have to sample a few more in store as a comparison. It is true about the compact getting dirty though. I have just used it 2 times and you can see where I have handled it. I wipped it down well with a dry cloth and it was ok.....but if you do not keep it up it could be a problem....that alone would make me return it as I do not like to look at dirty containers. I will give this product more time for a fair evalutaion for slightly dry to dry skin.

For those of you who know that I follow Paula, I tried this because she highly recommended it. So I chose my color from Sephora and went home to anxiously try it. Application was nice and so was the achieved finish. It is suppose to have all the bells and whistles of a good tinted moisturizer. Yes, ladies that is all a beauty balm is, a tinted moisturizer. It is just another name to make you think it is another product you must have. Well.......I was happy and the tube was pretty (yes I do like packaging). But.....a few hours latter when I went to check under a good natural light I was shocked!! What is that dry, dehydrated finish on my skin? And a color that is darker than what I put on my face? I was literally shocked. Too faced beauty balm was too faced on me. It promised excellant results as being a good primer, moisturizer, antioxidant, and soft color....and Paula gave it her highest rating. Well, Paula you must not have tried it on someont with dry skin or else you put a moisturizer under it. But this product has its own moisturizer so that should be an unecessary step. Now I gave it 5 stars because it may be wonderfull for normal/oily skin but save yourselft the time if you have dry skin ladies. Or if you must try be sure you can return it.

I hate lip glosses. I do not like the feeling of greasy lips that feel icky and besides what man would want to kiss such a greasy mess and get it all over himself. so why did I purchace a lip gloss and give it a high rating. Well for 2 reasons. First of all they were half price at ulta and so I tried one on, the darkest thinking it would leave a bit of color. I walked around the store and forgot I had it on. Then about an hour and a half (yes I was there a long time!) I noticed that my perpetually dry lips were soft and had a slight creamy feeling to them. Not greasy, slippery as I would imigaine. I went to a mirror and noticed a slight color on my lips that looked very natural. What did I put on???? OH!! that stila gloss that was on sale. I went back to the stila display and grabed one. I sure am glad I did as I have found it amazing. The ONLY gloss that has ever done what I have always thought a gloss should do. But, you know, it is being discontinued....wouldn't you know it! But for you ladies that are looking for something to condition your lips without leaving a slippery slimey feeling on your lips...and that stays soft hours after with a hint of color (I would imagine just the deepest shade though) this is one to try!!

At first I thought it was great. Creamy with alot of slip for my fairly dry skin. Color seemed fine since it is sheer. So I bought it. Then at home after I had it on for awhile I noticed I could see the color sitting on top of my skin! YAK!! It had dried on top. The color that was not really noticable was now quite evident and it was definately too dark. I took it back and the SA told me that it was to dry for her too. That is a very misleading product by look and texture you would never think that it would act that way. I have no idea what this would do on oily skin since it feels so emolient but is definately misleading for dry skin.

I have the mini for travel and regular for home. The bottom line on tweezers: they either function or they don't. These function.

This would be a great product for someone whose skin is normal to slightly dry. It is quite lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin. But once it has, there is not enough moisture for my drier skin. Not sure about for oily skin, perhaps in the winter. If you do not have very dry skin I would have to say give it a try. It is a nice product.

May be good for some women but my skin is dry with lines on my mouth area....uhhhh....not what I would call beauty as this stuff just made it look all the worse. Best for younger skin and with more natural oil. I always check formula first....if that is good then I go to color....couldn't even to the color on this one!!

Nars lipsticks are really nice. There are many colors to choose from and there is definitely something for everyone. You get a good color deposit. My special favorite is the sheerer ones. They go on really smooth and once you have applied them a few times you begin to get a bit of a stain, which I like. Of course the price is up there. Because of this I would not order online but go to Sephora and try them on first. I always try and wear a few times before I make the commitment. But at Sephora if you decide you do not like it you can return. I must say I have bought thinking I finally have what I am looking for and after a week saw that I had blundered...So try them, like I say they are nice just find your right color. Oh, fire below is listed and I think this must be a favorite as it has come up again and again in different places. I too love the color but too strong for me now. But.....I can still wear it. This is for all you ladies that love a color but it is too strong. I apply a non greasy balm first and then pat the color to my lips....Voila!!
