I am really not sure if I like this or not....does that make sense. I think it must be the formulation. Yes it is sheer and I really did not expect more than that but still the look was strange. Yes it is a moisturizer and I have dry skin so it seems it would be great but it was...well....just wierd.

I thought this was just what I was looking for but turns out it was much dryer on my skin than a liquid, that's strange.

Where do they come up with these words? Please tell me what is so sacred here? I am always extremely skeptical whenever I see words like this in a product. Pretty much it turns out to be a no-winner. Now they advertise this as Monoi oil....sacred …..but guess what the first and main ingredient is? Olive oil!! Next comes grape seed oil.....are you getting the picture? Well hold on there is more as the next ingredient is coconut oil! Now there is not a thing wrong with these oils, they are great but why advertise monoi oil when what you are selling is olive, grape and coconut oil? What ever monoi oil is in the formula is very very little. And they use BHT as their preservative which is a horrible thing. Using any of these oils on your hair is great. But do you realize how cheap these oils are? You get tons for not much money. You know what this product sells for......$30.00 for under 2 ounces!!!! That is a crime!!! I really do not have the patience nor time to even go any further with this as in so many products out there. The fact remains that women should be educated on what is happening and how they are being ripped off. But folks it is all about money and the truth is covered over with, if I may use the term as Carol's daughter does, the almighty sacred dollar. Enough said, ladies it is up to each of us to take the responsibility and care enough to get the facts, it is not that hard and it will save you more money than you can ever imagine.....if you even care.

I have never used these types of pads before so I really have nothing to base a comparison with. So this review is strictly based on the effect of the pad and the ingredient that it imparts to the skin. You get the feeling that something awesome is going to happen when you apply these pads. A special treatment, more than just a cream. They just really made me feel I was in for a real treat. There must be some magic that will take place under these little pads. since these babies are a bit expensive I decided to use one pad and turn it into 2 pads. I peeled off the backing which is also soaked in the formula and applied one to my eye and the other to my upper lip area....why not? I saved the other pad so I could try it again. I only tried it on one eye so that I could compare the difference. And then I waited for the magic to happen. I waited the correct amount of time and then a little more.....then I removed the pads. What magic would be awaiting me.....What magic would be awaiting me? uhhhh....the areas looked exactly like they did before I applied the pads. I saw absolutely no difference! I compared the left eye to the right eye, one eye had the pad and the other eye did not, and I could still see no difference at all. The clincher was that there is peppermint in the pads! What! Doesn't Wei East know that peppermint should never be used around the eyes!!!! What are you thinking Wei East! And on top of that those little pads were infusing my skin with parabens, another huge no-no. So here were these expensive little pads promising me something special for the eye area and the only thing I got was irritants and known carcinogenics. If you have trouble with puffiness try very cold icy water to the area. Then use a good cream. Now that is a touch of magic you can see and feel.

SHEA BUTTER HAND CREAM BY PERLIER Although this hand cream is called Shea Butter hand cream it should be noted that Shea butter is the third ingredient on the list. So we actually have hand lotion with Shea butter. There are a lot of unnecessary ingredients in it and also parabens which are a big no-no. There are tons of hand creams out there that are far, far better. In fact there are ones that you can put on and even wash your hands and your hands will still remain soft with no reapplication necessary. This is NOT the case with Shea Butter Hand Cream by Perlier. It felt sticky once I put it on but as it drys the stickiness does goes away, but I do not want to feel stickiness at anytime so I did not like this at all. Oh and by the way water is the first ingredient. A few years ago I did a lot of research on lotions and creams for the body as I had severe dry skin. My findings were that one should never use a product for dry skin if it contains water. You will notice if you read labels that most lotions and creams will list water as the first ingredient. I found it quite hard to find a product like that and ended up learning to make one that was special for me and I would never ever be without it and besides it smells divine. You would think that water would be moisturizing but it turns out that it makes the skin even drier than it already is and each application will make it worse. now if you do not have a problem with very dry skin in probably does not make any difference. So if you just want to use a hand lotion and your hands are not dry then this would be as good as any with a product with tons of water in it. But as I say you can REALLY feel the water in this product. So I take that statement back, you could do better!!! As far as the fragrance goes it is nothing special. Reminds me of any ordinary hand lotion that you would pick up at the grocery store. It also did not last long on my skin but perhaps my hands are just dryer than what this lotion was intended for. I find it not even emolient enough to scramble an egg!! Complete worthless product and whoever thinks it is good has evidently never used something really good.

Simply a bad waste of good money. There is absolutely nothing about this product that I like. The packaging is all wrong as it is housed in a jar. Any product packaged in such a way is always a waste of money because it is subject to the exposure of air. Once that happens anything of any benefit in the product will deteriorate and become worthless and ineffective. Another bad point is the promise of elasticity to the skin. There is nothing in this product that will firm up anything, well other than making your wallet shrivel, guess you could call that firming it up! This is an insult to a womens intelligence. There are more products than not that are just on the band wagon to make the almighty buck by the deceitful information that they are telling women. Women really need to get knowledgeable and stop this crazed preying on women. The cream itself is very standard. There is nothing to be excited about. In fact...I could only muster up a yawn at best!!

BENEFIT THE PORE FESSIONAL This product is suppose to help keep the shine on your face at bay and also make the pores appear smaller. It does seem to look a bit different when you first put it on but the effect does not last long. But you can throw it in your purse and take it with you and apply whenever you feel you need to. But do not be surprised to find out that you are paying a high price of $30.00 for under 1 oz of product with is virtually just silicone and film forming agents. It feels very silky when you put it on but that is because it is mostly silicone and that is the nature of silicone to feel that way. It looks like it has a color but upon application it goes on sheer. They recommend that you apply it over a moisturizer but be sure you are using a moisturizer that is not too heavy, more like a gel type or serum because if your skin is already oily you do not want to smother it with more oil and then try and matte your complexion out with another product. One thing I have found mostly helpful for the oil breakthrough is the little papers you press onto your face and they absorb the oil. You can find other things that would work too. Someone found that starbucks napkins work well too. The blotting technique works very well and you do not even have to have a mirror. Plus there are less products that you are putting on your face. Less is far better because otherwise you run the risk of clogging your pores and getting breakouts the more you do. So the verdict is Pore Fessional is NOT Professional at all. It is a mix of silicon and film formers at best. There are other products which are better and also other ways of dealing with oily skin. Verdict: Pass on it and opt for something better, especially at this price.

This is the newer version of the same product. Guess they wanted people to think that the product was newer and better. After all it has been around for some time. But the truth is, it is not any better than the original. Ya, the original use to be pretty good, but that was awhile back. These days there are newer and better formulations available. This is true even for Estee Lauder. But it has been a big seller and they don't want to loose the business on something that has become so well established. There are women who have worn this for so long they would not change for anything.... but they see all the new stuff out and can't help but wonder if perhaps.... that bottle over there at that other cosmetic counter may be better. The advertisements bombard us everyday as well. So what is Lauder to do to keep their faithful cliental to an old product? Reinvent it. Make it the newest and best. The SAME but Better. A face-lift. So these women get to keep their favorite product knowing that it has been improved and has kept up with the newest in technology. Or so they think. Of course Lauder could explain to these women that the product is just out date and that have newer and better products for them now. One would think that’s the way it would go. After all they wouldn’t be loosing a customer, but rather just selling them a different product. But that’s now it works. Lauder is no fool. Why take the risk of trying to convert…. leave well enough alone and let the sales keep pouring in. It’s like an ace in the hole. Please do not misunderstand, Lauder has some very fine products, it’s just that Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Recovery Complex is no longer one of them, synchronized or not.

I found a color I really liked so it helped me like this more. I really prefer sheer shades and they have alot of colors to choose from. A bit on the expensive side.

One of my 2 top choices. Applies well and stays put all day. Has a bit of a tendency to dry but I added a silicone eye gel by drops to it and it fixed it. updated: silicone not helping any more. Cakey on my lids. Garbage can and never again.
