I haven't really gone crazy for any Fekkai products except for this one. A little bit of it really does volumize your hair, and when it dries, there's no indication you're using any product at all. No stiffness or sticky roots or flakes or anything like that. Concentrate at your roots and at the crown of your head and then hit it with the hair dryer. The results are fantastic.

This brings me back to being a kid! I've used it on and off for many many years. Although I've graduated to other cleansers, there always seems to be a blue jar of Noxzema in my medicine cabinet somewhere. It's good to fall back on once in a while, and that fresh, tingly cool feeling never gets old. Works really good also to take off stubborn makeup, just tissue it off. Fantastic product, I guess the longevity of it really proves it.

Not a fan of their foundation makeup, but Bare Minerals turned out a pretty good mascara! I got it as part of a sample gift basket and immediately went out and got it on my own! It separates, lengthens and voluminizes better than any mascara I've ever used. Better than any drugstore and any high end brands I've tried. I like the side of the wand with the longer bristles, it does well with thinner and sparser lashes. A+

Doesn't really suffice as a moisturizer and really sucks as a primer. Not really sure there was much a difference in terms of smoothing out my skin or making it look any healthier. Wouldn't buy it, but it came with the kit.

I'm not a fan of Bare Minerals foundation, but their eye makeup is pretty good. The colors in this kit are very nice, especially the base color (Pacific Heights). However, I never really got the hang of the v-brush. It's such a cute little concept, but for people with smaller Asian eyes like myself, it's a bit harder to manuever and just doesn't create the same effect because not everyone's crease space is the same size. Thumbs down for the brush, but at least the colors are nice. I guess I'll have to learn that smokey eye on my own!

I felt the same way about this as I did about the SPF 15 foundation powder. I don't like the overall look this provides. Reapplication never works because your skin will look plastic and chalky as you apply more. Mineral makeup is just not for me.

I use this alone a lot without foundation. I have moderately oily skin with more uneven color and occasional splotchiness than serious imperfections. It covers lightly and blends all of that without the heaviness of foundation. The colors are beautiful too, I use the NC40. A suggestion is to ditch the little sponge that comes with the compact and use a fluffy brush instead. It is much more hygenic and uses less of the product and provides nicer and more even coverage.

This is a so so mascara in my opinion. Tends to clump and really starts to lose control after the first coat. Doesn't do much in terms of curling, but adds a little bit of volume. It does live up to its 'splashproof' name- it is an absolute nightmare to take off. I've never struggled this hard taking off mascara in my life! Regular eyemakeup remover solution and facial soap still left me with residue along the lashline. You'd really have to go at with an oil makeup remover (try Shu Uemura or Decleor)to get it off easily without tearing up your lashes!

I have pretty oily skin and get that dreaded shiny nose by lunchtime. I usually alternate between blot papers or this fantastic powder. It does a fantastic job of controlling the shine and dispersing the oils. The color is not visible, however you might want to get a shade darker than you normally would if you plan to apply it more than 2 times a day, because the light colors may look a little chalky after a while. Beautiful product though, I always keep it in my purse.

I have been a big fan of MAC's mineralized products for a long time. Leaves your skin beautiful. The colors are really versatile with all skin tones, and it's just a hint of shimmer and really a perfect finishing touch to your face. A little bit goes a long way, so it will last you for a long time. I am still using "Shooting Star", a limited edition from 2 years ago, and it's less than halfway through. Highly recommended.
