I've been using this product off & on for about ten years. It smells great and is, hands down, one of the most effective foot scrubs on the market. It's really inexpensive and is guaranteed to get you results. To increase the level of smoothness, I often put some on a large pumice stone to help the product along, but that's only if I know my feet can handle the extra scrubbing. Afterwards, I try to use the matching foot cream, but haven't been able to find it in a while. However, it does work. The Lemon/Sage version of this product is also very nice.

Maybelline New York Lash Stiletto Ultimate Length Washable Mascara
It's been a LONG time since I've used Maybelline!
I'm a mascara junkie, so as my tube of Bare Minerals Flawless Definition became a tube of "When did I last buy this? When did I start using this? If I can't remember, then it's time to toss it, even if it smells fine and still works like a charm.", I started to search for something new to replace what I already use and love. I've NEVER been a fan of Maybelline mascara. I roll my eyes whenever people claim I spend too much money on mascara when I could "just buy Maybelline Great Lash". No, they do NOT "do the exact same thing". If that were true, no other company would make mascara, and yet there are thousands of them on the market. I was willing to try this product to see what all the fuss is about, and I actually scored two tubes in the original packaging, brand new, for under $3 on Ebay. A steal considering the price at Walmart always makes me walk away. The first thing I noticed was the smell, which is not at all appealing. It's unpleasant. I really don't like the brush/wand either, but it's also not the worst one I've ever seen or used. The actual mascara formula is all right, for a drug store brand, but if I'd paid retail for this, it would be going back in a heartbeat. This mascara is flaky. I tried it out without any other make-up on my face or eyes and the formula got on my lids. Easily removable with a damp Q-tip, but would have been a bigger problem if I'd had shadow and liner on since this formula is wet and wouldn't have been as easy to remove with full eye make-up on. It did lengthen my lashes and with two light coats and a brush through with a metal lash comb, my lashes are long enough to be extended over my browbone. That's pretty good length for a person who has long lashes and still likes her eyes to have a little bit of the "Wow" factor. However, even though this is safe for contact lens users, I will not recommend it to them because I wear contacts and this stuff is, as I said, flaky. If you're going to use it as your base coat and seal it with a better mascara, maybe it will be fine, but on its own? NO. I've had it on for over an hour now and it's still wet enough that it comes right off if you simply touch my lashes. That's NOT the sign of a quality product, it's a sign of a product that doesn't dry in a timely fashion. For a drug store mascara, it's better than a lot of high end mascaras I have tried, but for every single day wear? I've got to take a pass. The one plus, this is free of parabens, pthalates, & sulfates. I was extremely surprised by that.

I've been using this color for years (the exact shade in the photo). Every once in a while I completely change my hair color, and when I decide to go back to my natural shade, this is the color I turn to. It covers extremely well, from greys to covering up the fact that I've been blonde. I don't have to color monthly or bi-monthly like so many people I know. This color is budget friendly and lasts a long time. Color wise, I do not see a difference between this color, an identical shade that is $10, or my salon color. Dark Espresso is pretty much the same color all across the board. I highly recommend staying within two shades of your natural color on this product and ALL at-home hair color.

Initially I tried this product out mostly because my skin was driving me crazy at the time and I wanted something that would really make a difference. For me, this product, over time, did what I needed it to do. It sucked out all the crap in my pores, removed dead skin that exfoliating regularly was unable to get, and yes, the drying time on this one is tricky. I am usually able to remove it after 15 minutes, and by then it is extremely dry. I peel it wherever I can start to feel it lift, and whatever doesn't come off that way gets rinsed off with warm water and damp paper towel. Whenever I want my skin to look fresh and bright, I use this mask at least once a week, but have actually been able to use it once a month with regular Clarisonic use. I don't think this mask will work for everyone, no product does, but I love it. I definitely recommend keeping it as far away from hair as possible because it will yank it out in a heartbeat. I had a mishap with that, and thankfully it's grown back. So, use with caution around the hairline and eyebrows, but definitely try this out because it's really worth it.

This is by far one of the worst Garnier products I have ever used. It smells delightful, but it actually made the problem ten times worse. No matter how much rinsing you do, you're also left with some of the blue scrubbing dots stuck to your scalp. Not hot!! Plus, this did nothing to help the dryness and it made me scalp itch like crazy. When in doubt, use Jason's Tes Tree Shampoo which will rebalance your scalp, whether it's dry or flaky, and you won't have to worry about it getting gross beyond words. I would never recommend this product to a soul.

Total Beauty sent me this shampoo (along with the matching conditioner) to use and review. It took me a little longer to use the shampoo because I'm not a huge fan of Pantene's shampoos, but I decided to give this one a shot. The first time I used it, I used it only on the length of my hair (which is everything, but my scalp). For that it seemed to do a relatively decent job, but on the 2nd try, it underperformed in ways that a less expensive shampoo won't, so I can't recommend this with a high rating. It wasn't super moisturizing and it didn't do anything that other shampoos can't do. I personally wouldn't buy this, but again, I've not a fan of Pantene shampoos. Plus, this dried out my scalp beyond words, so if you're going to use anything from this moisturizing line, I'd go with the conditioner which works nicely.

Total Beauty sent this product to me and asked me to use it for three days, and review it. For one, they sent me an enormous bottle. I will be using this for many months, that's for sure. This is one of the most healing of all Pantene's conditioners. I was very surprised that it worked at all, seeing as how a lot of conditioners pretty much do the same thing. Detangle and soften, and we tend to stick with what works best for our hair, budget, and what smells best to us. It's a very individual thing. I found this product very healing, very softening and smoothing. If you heat treat your hair regularly, give this a try. If you heat treat your hair a few times a week or even just once a week, this is still worth a shot. If you're a fan of Pantene shampoo, pair this with the shampoo that works best for you. I chose to pair this with a different shampoo because my hair doesn't respond well to most Pantene shampoos. I found the reslts very pleasing though. It left my hair extremely moisturized for several days at a time and I didn't experience any greasiness as an after affect. I'm pleased with this product. I don't know if I would buy it on my own, but I enjoy using it.

I'm supremely selective about the primers I use, but this product was recommended to me a few years ago and I decided to splurge. It it one of the most expensive make-up items I use (not the most expensive, but high on the list), but I have found it to be worth it. This works extremely well with my beyond fair complexion. It leaves my skin radiant, beautifully hydrated, and this product works well with whatever foundation you may or may not use, from mineral make-up to the more traditional foundations. This gives you a beautiful "lit from within" glow. 100% worth it..

John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Lustrous Touch Smoothing Shampoo
Brilliant Brunette Smoothing Shampoo
John Frieda has a great line of products, regardless of your hair color. I like to change things up on occasion, but I'm a natural brunette and I always go back to my natural color. This shampoo works and is affordable. It's one of the better shampoos at doing what it says it will do in terms of hydration. Used in conjunction with the conditioner, these are great staples. I love the smell, I don't find it artificial or too chocolately, and I like that my hair feels soft and clean.

Even though I've never personally noticed a color change with hair spray, I do use this occasionally when I'm blonde. It works well and isn't difficult to get out of my hair at the end of the day, which is a bonus if you hate using a lot of product.
