Tom's of Maine Natural Long-Lasting Deodorant Stick

The best natural deodorant I've tried so far!

I've experimented a lot recently with natural deodorants, and for a while there I was worried that I'd never find anything natural that worked longer than a few minutes. Luckily, I decided to try Tom's of Maine Long-Lasting Natural Deodorant in Apricot, even after I tried the original Tom's of Maine Natural Deodorant with no luck. Tom's of Maine Long-Lasting Natural Deodorant Stick in Apricot smells great, a trait that is important to me in a deodorant. Also, this deodorant definitely lasts longer than the original formula Tom's of Maine natural deodorant. Rather than having to reapply four times a day, I only reapply the Long-Lasting Natural Deodorant once per day. Btw, the Long-Lasting formula contains zinc ricinoleate to more effectively fight odor, whereas the original formula doesn't contain this ingredient. As far as natural deodorants go, Tom's of Maine Natural *Long-Lasting* Deodorant is the way to go!

Patricia Wexler M.D. Dermatology MMPi Skin Regenerating Serum

Silicones + Red Bumps = Not so good results!

While I really wanted to like this MMPi Skin Regenerating Serum (it sounds all scientific and innovative), I ended up with not-so-good results after using it. The product is essentially a bright magenta gel-cream with the slippery smooth silkiness of a product that contains a bunch of silicones. It isn't so much a "serum" as a uniquely textured gel with a strange lightly whipped consistency. It's really hard to describe this gel formula except by saying that it feels drier and more slippery compared to traditional gels. My main concern with this product is that my face developed a bunch of little bumps after using it, mostly on the side of my face. Unfortunately, I think the little bumps were millia, often a result of skin not being able to properly exfoliate itself. I eventually got my skin back to normal by exfoliating my skin with an intense face scrub and discontinuing use of the serum, but I just can't say that I got good results from this product. Those with sensitivity to silicones may want to do a small patch test before applying this all over!

Harajuku Lovers Love Eau de Toilette Spray

Loving Harajuku Lovers Love!

Love is my favorite of the Harajuku Lovers fragrances, not only because it is unique and complex on its own, but also because it is has one of the cutest bottles ever and comes in an affordable small size. The bottle features a Harajuku girl with pink hearts and a Japanese character for "Love" in her hair. Love is light, floral, slightly fruity, and ultimately a little musky. Out of all the Harajuku Lovers Fragrances, Love really stands out to me. It isn't as sweet or fruity as the other Harajuku Lovers scents, but it has a unique subtlety to it. At first, some people have said they had a hard time smelling anything, but eventually you get a whiff of Love and fall in love with it!

Aveda Damage Remedy Restructuring Shampoo

Really effective and smells great!

I've never been so impressed with a shampoo before! Aveda's Damage Remedy Shampoo actually made my damaged and dry hair stronger and smoother, even helping to protect my hair color too. It is a moisturizing and conditioning shampoo, so sometimes I feel like this shampoo is all I need to use on my hair!

Chapstick 100% Naturals

This isn't your average Chapstick!

While I normally hate Chapstick lip products for their cheap ingredidents, I was impressed by the ingredients in the Chapstick 100% Naturals lip balm. I tried the Botanical Medley lip balm, and it was a very moisturizing lip balm - not fake-smelling and felt good on the lips. For the price, 100% Naturals is a fantastic value!
