Bliss Sunban Face is one of my favorite non-chemical sunscreens out there. It has a decent spf level, and also blends in to skin without looking totally white. While this sunblock product does initially come out as a very liquid white lotion, it feels nice and cool on the skin and blends in easily. This works great for when you are going to be sitting in the sun but are not going in the water or planning on sweating. I've used it on both face and body and loved it – and it smells clean and fresh. The only problem I have with Sunban Face is the packaging. The pump tube is awkward, because the clear cap falls off and cracks easily. Plus the pump top doesn't work very well, so I usually end up unscrewing the cap. Overall, a great sun product!

I had almost given up on wearing eye shadow when I found Urban Decay's Primer Potion. Amazingly enough, it actually worked and my eye shadow finally lasted for more than a few minutes. The eye shadow actually lasted for several hours on my eyelids when used on top of this primer- a record for me. Used in a thin layer and spread until it disappears, this Primer Potion really works wonders! Now I can finally wear eye shadow, dark colors included! The creamy formula spreads easily and does not seem to require much drying time. The only thing I would change about Primer Potion is the oddly shaped bottle- it feels as if it is used up, but in actuality there is still a lot of product stuck down there! Other than that, this is a great eyeshadow primer.

While I really really love the texture and consistency of The Body Shop's Almond Oil Intensive Hand Rescue, the strong almond scent leaves you kind of wishing for something more - perhaps something other than such an intense almond scent. I can't complain about the thick, non-greasy consistency of this Almond Oil Intensive Hand Rescue, almost like a cross between a body butter and a salve. The cream is thick enough that you can just run your fingers across the top of it to get just enough on your fingers without having to dig into it! Unfortunately, I checked at my local The Body Shop, and they did not have anything remotely similar in a better scent. The next closest thing was the Hemp hand treatment, but again the scent was less than ideal. If this came in a better scent, I'd give it the highest rating!

I never thought Estee Lauder was known for its cleansers, so I was surprised at how much I liked the Perfectly Clean Splash Away Foaming cleanser. It smells nice, and cleans skin without drying it out. While the Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean Splash Away Foaming Cleanser works just fine by itself, foaming up pretty nicely from a soft cream, I do like to use it in combination with a minty face scrub for a special treat. Perfectly Clean feels soothing and soft on the skin, and has a gentle warm floral fragrance. Overall, I'd get this again and recommend it highly!

Matrix Sleeklook haircare was recommended to me when my hair was extremely dry and frizzy, and the Sleek look shampoo seemed to work fairly well. The scent was quite nice, and the consistency was reasonably thick, so I did not have any objections. While I wish Matrix Sleek look Smoothing Shampoo could also repair my hair, I think it was a decent smoothing shampoo. Still, I discovered that I needed to use this shampoo with a strong conditioner, and ultimately found that my hair was too damaged to keep moisture in. If you need longer-term smooth and healthy hair, I'd suggest trying Aveda's Damage Remedy shampoo first.

Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil is a very emollient (read rich) lip balm with pomegranate oil and a slight tint of color. While this lip balm is not actually creamy, it feels like it is chock full of natural oils. The quality of this lip balm is good, but you wouldn't know just by looking at the packaging that this stick balm is also tinted a sheer berry-pomegranate color. It is moisturizing without feeling waxy, but it does feel slightly greasy. The balm itself has a pleasant fruity pomegranate scent. My only complaints are that it is a bit on the expensive side and it is actually somewhat tinted (without saying so).

This Yes to Carrots lip balm in Citrus is surprisingly light, moisturizing, and nicely scented. The citrus scent is not too strong, but smells fresh and lightly sweet. In general this is an effective and simply-packaged lip balm. The ingredients list is good, as is the quality of this lip balm. It is moisturizing without feeling greasy or waxy. The balm itself is an off-white color, so it does not seem like it contains extra unnecessary coloring. My only complaint is that it is a bit more expensive than some of my other “natural†drugstore lip balms, but I think I'd repurchase this.

I'm a big fan of fresh and tart citrus scents, and The Body Shop's Satsuma Shower Gel really hits the spot. The first thing I noticed about this Shower Gel in particular is that the scent really lingers in the shower and on the skin for a while afterward. Since I like how fresh-squeezed and slightly sweet The Body Shop's Satsuma scent is, I don't mind that the scent lingers long after I am done showering. This shower gel cleans pretty effectively, and seems to be usable as a delicates wash soap and perhaps even as a shampoo. Therefore, this shower gel is a great product to bring while traveling.

If you're looking for an eyeshadow that is waterproof and retains vibrant color throughout the day, you may like Tarte's Lock & Roll Eyeshadow Duos. I tried the three Lock & Roll shadows that come as part of the eyeQuatic gift set, and all of them are flattering jewel tone colors that don't budge. Most waterproof or creaseless cream eye shadows that I've tried still tend to lose intensity with a little rubbing (or with a little water), but the tarte Lock & Roll eye shadows actually keep their color when I try smudging them about 10 seconds after applying them! The color can be layered, and an optional fine layer of shimmery powder eyeshadow can be applied on top. The powder eye shadow side of this duo is very sheer, so using it is definitely optional.

I really wanted to like the Kiss My Face Liquid Rock Roll-On Deodorant a lot, especially since I was trying to get away from unnatural deodorant ingredients. Unfortunately, the Liquid Rock Roll-On was not that effective for me, and most of all, I did not like how wet it was coming out of the applicator. Since you have to wait for this deodorant to dry, I just didn't have the patience for it. Plus, when I did let it dry, I still had odor and wetness in only a couple hours. I even tried this in the tiny travel-size roll-on, which I thought was a great idea, but in the end I just never reached for this. I prefer my Tom's of Maine Long Lasting natural deodorant way more!
