the Avon SuperSHOCK regular pencils were much better in terms of pigmentation and consistency, but they discontinued those. I wanted to love the GLIMMERSTICKS, but they disappointed me.These GLIMMERSTICKS tug, aren't that great in terms of pigmentation or length of wear. The tip also breaks off now and then. They are affordable, but there are plenty of other drugstore-priced eyeliners (both automatic and regular) that surpass these in every way.

But now I'm a convert! I love these and want to own them in almost every color of the rainbow. While the brown and black are good staples, there are drugstore alternatives that are comparable in quality, but at a much lower price. However, if you're looking for some fun, bright, awesome colors, Urban Decay is definitely your brand. I love the color selection, the lasting power, the creamy texture of the pencils, and the edgy packaging. My favorite everyday-with-a-kick colors are Oil Slick, Mildew and Stash. But if you're looking for a BRIGHT blue, Electric is awesome. A few of the colors aren't as great in pigmentation, but all of them last throughout the day.

PROS: Great color selection. I love the metal tin. Good amount of product. Good pigmentation. Non irritating. Reasonably priced. Good length of wear. CONS: None! I really love CARGO Bronzers. They're some of the best out there!

PROS: there are some nice colors. decent pigmentation. CONS: expensive. messy. not very portable. I definitely prefer pressed blushes to loose powder blushes, and while the bareMinerals line is decent quality, the mess isn't worth the price in my opinion.

It doesn't look that good on my lips or cheeks. The consistency is really watery and the packaging is kind of weird (it looks like nail polish). It has an okay length of wear and isn't really drying, but it isn't very moisturizing on lips either. I'm not impressed enough with this product to justify the $28 price tag. There are plenty of other lip/cheek stains out there that are better.

I love the smell of this. The spray bottle doesn't spill, it has a good amount of product in it (unlike the aerosol bottles, which are easier to use, but don't seem to have a whole lot in them)! Does help me tan well, without burning. It's definitely affordable, and I'll continue to buy it.

I like the packaging, and it's about average in price for a sunscreen. But it left my face feeling oily and broke me out. I wouldn't call it "dry touch" at all!

I love Dove Beauty Bars! They're reasonably priced. I can use them on my face and on my body. I use makeup removing wipes, then follow up with Dove every night. It works well, and smells pleasant. I never thought a bar soap could do so much for my cystic acne prone skin, but this stuff is great!

I love this kabuki brush. The pink metal case is adorable, it can get thrown in your purse because it has a lid, the bristles are incredibly soft and dense, and it's cruelty-free! It is a bit spendy, but worth every penny in my opinon :)

Frizz-Ease 3-Day Straight Semi-Permanent Smoothing and Straightening Spray
I'll continue to try to make it work--can't seem to get the same results as before!
I received this product from totalbeauty.com to review. I have fine wavy hair, but a LOT of it, and it tangles easily. Usually, I have to blowdry or flatiron my hair to make it stick straight. The first day that I tried this product, I only used a hairdryer, and my hair did stay straight for three days, even though I'd put a pony-tail holder in my hair over night and it had been rainy during that time period! That absolutely NEVER happens, so I was REALLY impressed. This product smells fairly pleasant and the packaging is good (it sprays evenly). I had mixed results for subsequent trials, but realized that the key to getting superstright hair for three whole days is to apply a liberal amount of this product to DAMP hair. Even though the instructions on the bottle say damp OR wet hair, applying it to wet hair doesn't straighten my hair very well. Either wait til your hair air dries til it's just damp, or blow dry your hair a bit, and then apply this product. This stuff is amazing for something that you can get at the store, and I'll definitely be repurchasing. Chemical straightening was the best, but this is a close second!
