I'm a hard-sell when it comes to leave-in conditioners. With longish, thick, curlyish hair, I need some moisture, but so much out there leaves a yucky coating and weighs down even thick hair. This doesn't. It's moisturizing and plays well with other products. It's also thin enough to distribute well among lots of strands. I knocked off two stars because I just think the entire S-line by TIGI is a little pricey.

Not a bad de-frizzer. In fact, I'd say it's a good one, except (like the rest of this line ... what is UP, TIGI??) this is really expensive and there are several other options out there that work as well for less.

I'm a wavy-curly gal who needs some coaxing to get those waves to turn into curls. Spread liberally into my thick, shoulder-length hair, this does the trick -- without the dreaded crunchies. But alcohol is drying and isn't the friend of curly hair, which tends toward the dry side already.

Like the rest of this line, this isn't a cheap product, but it offers a slew of options. Need some volume? Check. How about control? Check. Want to layer in some other products? No sweat. This is as true a multitasking product as anything I've found.

I've been using this as part of my skin care regimen from Paula's Choice since February 2013. I use this three or four days (morning and evening) a week in conjunction with products from this brand's RESIST line. I almost never break out these days, and I used to have adult acne. I've found this to be gentle but effective and like other Paula's Choice products, not break-the-budget expensive.

I've seen remarkable results in texture and clarity using this. I have sensitive skin but I have no problem with this and use it as often as twice a week sometimes. I'm a fan of the entire RESIST line and incorporate this with the cleanser, toner and retinol moisturizer. This brand continues to prove that extraordinary results don't have to cost an arm and a leg.

I fell hard for this. Maybe it had something to do with the umpteen positive reviews everywhere. I used it exactly as instructed with the sensitive head. After weeks of no skin improvement (at the time, I'd struggled with adult acne for years) and increased redness, I fessed up to my aesthetician who tsk tsked at me. "Those things are too harsh for most people to use three times a week, much less daily. Stop it." So I dropped to once a week and saw improvement, but wondered what it might be like if I dropped it altogether. Ahhhh...relief. I do use it on my T-zone once a week, but never on cheeks.

I've heard the arguments for spending ridiculous amounts of cash on mere milliliters of mascara, but I've yet to find a brand that manages what Cover Girl does with this formula and this brush. Curl your lashes (for Pete's sake!) and buy this little gem. Save your bucks for something else.

Oh how I love this blush! Soft and easy to blend, it melts into skin and gives it a natural, fresh glow-y (yes, glow-y) stain. For those with drier cheeks, it's especially nice since powders tend to cake. Gels in tubes are ok but this is so much easier to use. And it lasts forever! Swoon.

Bumble & Bumble has some hits and misses, for sure, but this is a hit for me. I have super thick, wavy and color-treated hair that needs some fo' real moisture. The scent isn't overpowering, and I happen to like its jasmine-y, peachy undertones. More importantly, however, is that this keeps my hair soft without weighing it down.
