I am stunned that not more makeup lines have a product specifically for bottom lashes. Applying mascara to bottom lashes can be so troublesome and several mascaras smudge and give you raccoon eyes by midday. Clinique's bottom lash mascara is a perfect solution. The wand is ultra small so it applies mascara easily to bottom lashes without getting product all over the place. It effectively grabs each lash for a nice, separated look. This is a great long-lasting mascara that isn't a nightmare to take off at the end of the day. I adore this and will certainly be purchasing again.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Urban Decay lip stain. It totally delivers on its promise of a long-wearing lip stain with shine. I love stains but I was skeptical of this because typically glossy colors bleed out of my lips. This did no such thing! I was amazed when I checked the mirror throughout the day to find that my lips were still looking fresh...no fade and no bleeding. I got this in the color Crush which is a vibrant fuchsia color. It is dark but has lots of pop. When I wear this I get loads of compliments. This stain also does not dry my lips out like some can. I would highly recommend this. I plan to pick it up in another color soon as well!

I have fine, limp hair and use Paul Mitchell's spray wax when I am going for a more messy style and want extra texture that my hair doesn't have on its own. This product is great at achieving that for me. A bottle goes a long way. I bought mine a couple years ago and I still have plenty, which makes this a great bargain. This is also not a product that I think many will use everyday. In addition to building texture, this also provides a little bit of hold. Be careful when spraying this because a little goes a long way. If you put too much in your hair, it will appear heavy and greasy. That being said, it is not difficult to limit the amount of product used, even for fine hair like mine. This is the perfect product for beachy summer waves and if I ever run out, I plan to repurchase. I have also recommended this to friends who have purchased and loved it.

I have been using several varieties of AVON chapsticks since I was in junior high and received one of these from my friend's mother. They are wonderful! These chapsticks glide on your lips perfectly and really combat dryness well. Although these smell delectable, they don't taste like anything, which I see as a major plus. I don't like taking a sip of something and having my drink tainted by the flavor of my chapstick, gloss, etc. AVON is always having specials on their chapsticks, so you rarely pay more than $1.00 for each. I would just recommend staying away from the darker colors if you want a more clear chapstick as they do have some pigment to them. These make great gifts to girls of all ages. I highly recommend these as their formulation is truly unlike any other chapstick I have tried. Very creamy and luxurious on the lips.

Picked up a sample size of this after hearing great things. I have yet to use many primers, since my skin is more dry than oily. I have put this on only on days when I am wearing full foundation and know I have a long day ahead. The texture is a bit odd to put on. It's not bad, I am just not accustomed to it because I don't have any other products with that silicone consistency. I really don't notice much of a difference when I apply this under my Chanel Vitalumiere foundation. The places I tend to get oily (t-zone) still get a bit shiny by mid-day. I think I'd like to try a lotion primer next and compare the two.

Butter London offers beautiful nail colors and the quality of their polishes are top notch. With many, just one coat offers a completely opaque manicure. These polishes don't chip or recede nearly as much as others. At $14 a polish, they are more expensive than other 3-free lacquers but the quality translates to a longer lasting manicure, which can be worth it. I only wish that Butter London polishes were more widely available in stores. Arguably my favorite nail polish brand!

I have very fine, limp hair so I was immediately drawn to LUSH's Big Shampoo when a LUSH store opened up in my area. The scent is fresh and subtle, but has staying power. This is a plus for me since the scent was so pleasant. You don't need much product to get a great lather. Since my hair is so fine it can get quite oily and for many shampoos it takes two washes for me to get a good lather and get all the build up away. It was so nice to get a lovely lather right off the bat with this shampoo. I usually use volumizing shampoos aimed at fine, oily hair. I did notice a slight improvement in the bounciness of my hair after using this shampoo in particular. It also just felt squeaky clean...more so than with my other volumizing shampoos. The only reason I am not giving this 10 stars is because it is not safe for color treated hair. My hair is naturally light brown, but I dye it to a dark brown in the winter. Therefore, this is a shampoo I need to reserve for the summer months when I let my hair get lighter. If you don't color treat your hair, then this product is a perfect 10! I just wish that LUSH would include information on their website about which products are suitable for color treated hair. This product is also vegan!

Hearing so many good things about Hope in a Jar from Philosophy I purchased this as a night cream, since I already have a daytime moisturizer with SPF that I love. I was so terribly disappointed with this. It does not feel good going onto my skin after cleansing at night. The smell was unpleasant (though not too strong, thankfully) and the consistency was odd. It felt like it was just sitting on top of skin not doing anything. After using this I would wake up to a terribly oily face with clumps of white residue. It was so bad it required me to do an extra cleanse just to get the junk off my face. This one product completely puts me off the entire Philosophy skin care line.

I am so surprised to see several bad reviews of this mascara. This is one of my absolute favorites. Lancome, overall makes wonderful mascaras. I continually return to Lancome after other disappointing mascara purchases. Lancome mascaras do not irritate my eyes, even when I wear contacts. The Doll Lash in particular is effective at building my lash volume, while maintaining a sleek, separated look. I don't agree with other reviewers that it clumps. I am on my third tube of this now. As mascaras get older, they will all tend to clump if you do not replace them. Mascaras don't have the longest shelf life. What is extra special about the Doll Lash is its unique wand. It is tapered so that you can easily and precisely apply the mascara to both the inner and outer corner lashes. Being able to do this without making a huge mess creates such a nice lash look. Like all the Lancome mascaras, this is is expensive but it is at least as effective (I think much more so in many cases) than other mascaras in its price range. I will continue to purchase and recommend this go-to mascara.

This is another product I was exposed to through Birchbox. I received a small sample in my box that still lasted me quite some time. The texture of this is sort of between a balm and a gloss. It glides on like a gloss but with absolutely NO stickiness. It's claims to be a lip enhancer, plumper, etc. are meaningless which is the only reason I did not rate this a perfect 10. This doesn't do anything to enhance the fullness of my lips. I would rather call this a lip conditioner because it does an excellent (amazing!) job at that. My lips can get very dry with excess skin and flaking. I will put this on my lips at the beginning of my makeup routine. Since I apply my colored lip products last, by the time I get to that step my lips are prepped and nourished for whatever I put on them. Since receiving the sample of this, I have bought two full size versions. I have one at home and one in my makeup bag that goes with me everywhere. That is how much I love it! When I purchased my first full size version of this from Birchbox, it was backordered. That is how popular this product is. If you're looking for an actual lip ENHANCER, skip this. But if you want an effective CONDITIONER, this is what you should be buying.
