I have this lipstick in "Blush" (dusty rose) and "Titian," a stunning mauve pink. I recall using Shiseido lip stain many years ago; it was extremely vivid and even a hint of color remained when I removed makeup. These are deeply pigmented but couldn't not be more soft or silky. They give full coverage and last for several hours without the need for a touch-up. Color will come on when you purposely take it off, but it will keep you looking lovely until then.

You shouldn't have a hard time getting your family members to wash their hands (and arms and legs and necks) with The Honest Company's "Honest Hand Soap." It is all-natural, non-toxic, biodegradable, and pH neutral to skin. The skin is very subtle but extremely pleasant--it is infused with organic lemongrass oil and grapefruit seed botanical extracts. Although The Honest Company says this is a low-sudsing product, I get quite a lot of deep-cleaning lather from it. The beauty of this hand soap is how well it cleans; it cuts through grease, grime, waxes, and residues of any sort in a heartbeat, leaving behind very soft, smooth skin. Other ingredients include glycerin and coconut-based cleansers. You'll find yourself running out of this quite often!

I like the concept of The Honest Company--you join and periodically receive bundles of well-made, fairly-priced products for your baby(ies), your family's skin, hair, body, and house-cleaning needs (laundry detergent, bathroom cleaner, fruit and vegetable wash, dish soap, oxy boost, and so much more). You choose the five items you most need and want and delivery continues unless you cancel. The first item I tried from my introductory package was the healing cream. This very dense cream is a little reminiscent of Elizabeth Arden's "Eight Hour Cream," but it has a scent which is not very pleasant. It's hard to describe--all natural, but no synthetic floral or citrus aroma to mask the smell of the powerful ingredients. It contains beeswax, castor oil, shea butter, and sunflower, olive, and tamanu oils to nourish, hydrate, and heal. Chamomile, calendula, and lavender soothe skin. A little goes a long way. I rubbed into hands and on cuticles overnight and woke up to new skin. The feel is pure satin! This is perfect to use on chapped lips, baby irritations and diaper rash (this is proven safe for infants), dry elbows, ragged feet, as well as cuts, burns, sunburn (shame on you!), and scrapes. My first trial was a success. I would give this ten stars except for the scent of this cream.

These sticks come in lovely colors, but they left me with a greasy--not dewy--look. Perhaps I received a bad batch, but there was a somewhat foul smell. The last straw came when a color stick broke in half the second time I used it. I threw it away and wanted nothing more to do with them.

I love when this goes on sale for a ridiculously low price. My husband uses them like crazy (and I use them as well). Prevents odor and perspiration for a very long time, under even the toughest conditions.

Mitchum Lady Mitchum Dry Roll-On Antiperspirant & Deodorant
Prefer the Traditional Mitchum Liquid, But this WORKS!
I don't care for a perfumed scent, subtle as it is, because I fear that it competes with my body lotion or perfume. But it delivers excellent protection from odor and wetness, in the Mitchum tradition.

I have been relying for more years than I care to count. This is an industrial-strength liquid. No matter how hot or stressed I am, I remain completely dry and odor-free with this product. It is best to apply at night, before you go to sleep, so that the ingredients have a chance to work to give you twenty-four hour protection if you need it. Mitchum comes through!

I received a double lip gloss as a gift from ELF, with one a watermelon tint and the other a cherry tint. They are non-tacky and sticky and super-shiny! I was pleasantly surprised by this gift. ELF's low prices were good enough for me.

Yes, I am addicted to palettes, and few have nearly everything you need for your face. ELF is an exception. What is NOT to love about ELF's "Mini Makeup Collection?" I have this one-kit-takes-care-of-nearly-all in "Festive" and could not be more pleased (and imagine--for the price of $15.00, not counting sales and/or discounts!). The eye shadows range from one basic one in creme to powder ecru to beige to chocolate, deep blue, and amethyst. The lip glosses come in a range of pinks/lavenders, beiges and tans, and sultry reds and red/brows. I love the included blush in pink, a bronzer, a small eyeliner pencil, eyebrow color, and on-the-go applicators. This is a palette which you can take by itself, only bringing along mascara if you need to so do (and I do). The palette is now available in "Fresh," which I currently have on order. Shadows in this palette include a cream champagne color, powder amethysts, bright blue, browns, copper, white, and an array of beiges and chocolate. Vibrant lip glosses come in beige, beautiful hues of pink, red/brown, berry, and deep purple (do you hear the "Smoke on the Water" playing in the background?). This comes with a vivid fuschia blush, a gentle shimmering bronzer, an eye pencil, and eyebrow powder in a universal shade. These are fun, spring/summer shades, made to flaunt your best features! I find the pigmentation quite good. All of the products apply and blend well and last a long time. I couldn't possibly ask for me, especially given the price! I have a great time blending the eye shadows and lip colors to create unique shades (I generally wear the lip shades over a long-lasting base, as I do with the eye shadows). I use the blushers and bronzers for a sedate or a sun-kissed look. And the eyebrow color is especially handy when you have sparse brows like mine. I would give this a hundred stars if I could. Yes, I've used the most pricey makeup available, and this works very well for me!

I have this pencil in "Rebel," a true red. It applies very easily but never overpowers in terms of color. It stays where I put it and doesn't feather or wander, but gives me hours and hours of worry-free wear.
