Tarte can rarely do wrong in all things related to skin care and makeup. I can't recall what I did in the days before I discovered the brand. The eyeshadows, Amazonian clay blushes, LipSurgence tint, and SmolderEYES waterproof liner--oh, my! I had been told that I would fall hard for this mascara, and I didn't fall at all. My lashes were colored and separated, but there was no added volume or length whatsoever. Perhaps if you are blessed with a plethora of lashes, this will work well for you. For those of us who are lacking, this is not a mascara which will enhance your lashes at all. Hard to believe it's from Tarte!

This product gives new meaning to the term "eyebrow pencil." The formula actually contains a patent-pending formula containing Saw Palmetto, Biotin, Lecithin, Grape Seed Extract, and Vitamin C to encourage the growth of new brows while the color works to enhance and perfect your own natural hair. Use gentle, feather-like strokes for light brows or to make a subtle difference. Additional pressure adds pigment, emphasis, and shape. A bristled brush allows you to smooth the results--no pencil-look here! This definitely was my go-to brow product until I discovered "Divaderme," discussed in my own blog. However, I still keep this handy; it's an incredible eye enhancer.

The packaging for this shadow intrigued me. I did not choose a palette with glitter; rather, I selected a range of browns, from light taupe to chocolate. The pigment was so poor that there was little difference between taupe and the deepest shade. There are Sephora brand products I truly enjoy. Unfortunately, this is one to avoid.

"Full and Soft" created no spectacular look in the length of my lashes. This is a great staple mascara with soft, buildable coverage to add volume and length. It resists clumping and stays put a long time. I love it!

Perricone's "Cold Plasma" has been one of the very few things to cause a noticeable change in some sagging skin around my neck. Pricey? Yes! Worth it? Absolutely, if you find neck wrinkles even more annoying than creeping lines on your face, as I do.

If you are coloring your hair because you believe it will improve the condition, you're wrong. Ammonia and/or peroxide damage the cuticle. Initially your hair will feel amazing, but that is very short-lived. I have used this brand (now replaced by their oil-infused color, I believe) to cover unwanted gray. It doesn't do a great job. I've followed directions to the letter and find myself having to color more often than desired. Fortunately, it is one of the lesser-damaging products available.

Yes, this mascara is pliable, allowing you to build coverage. It adds volume and defines lashes. But I have a terrible time with it crumbling on my bottom lashes--less than two hours after applied. My bottom lashes are extremely long but colorless and need to be highlighted. With a little reformulation, I would give this a "10!"

I received this as part of a Korres kit from Sephora. I was struck by the sheer (bad pun intended) beauty of the shade. It is completely wearable and flattering for women of all complexions. It imparts a lovely (and comfortable) shine, with no tacky feel.

I have more cosmetics than I care to admit. I've tried more blushes than most department stores or drugstores carry. And Nars blush doesn't impress me. It's a wearable shade, but didn't bring about the excitement I expected. There are many more I'd chose over this.

I thought I couldn't go wrong with this, but it did nothing. The texture was too thick, yet areas of uneven skintone were still not perfected. Found little to like about this but the name.
