I got a sample and ended up buying full size. It definitely tingles and burns a little when its on, but when I take it off, my skin is soooo soft and moisturized! I love it!

First off, let me say this polish comes with the wide brush from the complete manicure polish that I LOVE! Its a one stroke brush and it is so easy to use. However, this polish chipped much faster than my average manicure. As for the Triple Shine aspect: complete and total fail. It didn't look especially shiney from the start, but it was dull by day two. I ended up putting a topcoat on a few days in to add shine. Failure.

I recently got some blonde highlights. If I'm being at all honest, my hair is naturally blonde (thats a lie)...I don't think anyone knows what my natural hair color is, so I am always on the hunt for good (inexpensive) color care shampoo/conditioner. After reading a few reviews, and watching a few scary YouTube videos. I decided to take the plunge and try the shampoo and conditioner out. 1.The Smell-Super important, for obvious reasons. The smell is fantastic. It smells like lemons and is very refreshing for these hot summer months. Although, with my favorite hairspray(here) which smells like strawberries, my head probably smells like fruit salad. 2. What it does for your hair-Some people have said that this particular shampoo/conditioner is really drying, but I found the exact opposite. My hair is a lot softer and it's been easier for me to style. 3. Does it work? I have been using it almost daily for about 2 weeks, and although it's not a huge difference, there is a slight brightening in the blonde highlights. I think this would probably work best for someone who already has pretty light blonde hair and maybe just wanted to lighten up a little bit. I would give this product a big thumbs up. Not only is it affordable, it works well. You can purchase the shampoo or conditioner any number of places, it's a drugstore brand with salon quality results.

Anyone that knows me well (and has known me for a while) knows that I LOVE my black eyeliner. Not in a crazy goth way, but out of all the trends coming and going throughout my look...black eyeliner has always been a staple. I very literally wear it every day of my life. Anyway, to the point. Avon's Glimmersticks is the best black eyeliner I have ever, ever used. I got Avon Glimmersticks in Blackened Night. Not only does this eyeliner have a great staying power, which is very important to me since it's something I wear every day, it is very easy to work with. I generally kind of "rub" the eyeliner to give it a more smokey look but there are some days that I will leave it a very clean line and it stays that way all day long. I am very impressed by this eyeliner and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a long wearing, highly pigmented eyeliner. Images via Avon's website All of the make up sent to me by Karen have been amazing so far. I honestly haven't used Avon until now, and would definitely say that I am life long convert. She not only is personable, but she ships quickly and is very nice to work with!

Karen, my amazing Avon rep, knows how picky I am about nail polish, so she challenged me to try Avon's Pro+ nail enamel from the new Cosmic Nail Polish line. Challenge accepted!! What the website says: Holographic pearl effect. 12 days of lasting color. Cost: $6 First impression: I got the color Radiant. In the bottle it looks like a pretty normal silver. I really like the bottle shape, because its thin and easy to hold. (I usually hold the polish bottle between my fingers while painting my nails, but that's just my weird quirk.) The polish is nice and thin. That's a big deal because the secret to a long lasting mani is doing thin layers and allowing them to dry in between. Polish that is too thick doesn't allow for nice thin layers. Once I'm looking at the polish outside of the bottle, I'm seeing that its not silver at all, it's teeny tiny flecks of holographic sparkles. When it catches the light it's truly cosmic. Love! Application: My first layer goes on nicely. It actually looks really nice with just one translucent layer. I can totally see myself doing it over a French mani! I immediately fall in love with the texture!!! It goes on like a dream! I like to do very thin layers, so I will swirl the brush to eliminate almost all of the polish on it, and then apply a thin layer. Lots of polished won't allow you to smooth a layer unless you have a decent amount of polish. What I mean is, I'm putting on my little layer of polish, and then I want to use the brush to smooth out the layer. Lots of polishes will streak and smear if I try to go back over it and smooth it. Not this one! It didn't streak or smear no matter how OCD I was about smoothing it!!!! Huge deal for me!! (If I'm being sane, I'll admit it didn't really need smoothing because it settled into a nice glass-smooth finish by itself. However, I'm weird and want to over smooth.) My first layer dried fast. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a quick dry polish, but it felt quick to me. I ended up applying 3 coats to get the coverage I wanted. I usually average 3-6 coats depending on the polish. For such thin polish, this covered really well, actually. When it's fully dried, it's got a beautiful silky finish. The 14 day challenge: Let me first tell you the two steps I always take to ensure my manicures last. First, when applying polish, I made sure to "wrap it" down and around the tips. Basically, you just need to make sure to paint the very tip of your nail and all the way under. This protects against chipping. Secondly, every few days I reapply a top coat. This has two functions, it refreshes the polish and keeps it shiny, and it protects the polish from wear. After taking these two precautions, most polish lasts me about a week. Day 5: The polish is still going strong! I haven't had any chips or wear. Day 10: Broke a nail, UGH! It broke like hugely, like the whole tip came right off. So... looking at my nails, they all look kinda stupid with one short one. As I'm sitting in my car in traffic, I bite all the tips off and file my nails short. This apparently has no effect on the nail polish, except its not wrapped around my tips anymore. So I leave it. Day 14: Still going strong. Seriously. I have to admit I'm pretty impressed. Day 16: Starting to chip. It's small chips that are repairable so I could probably get another couple days out of this mani with some quick repairs. Bottom line: I'm sold. The application was a breeze, it has a great texture and finish. It's a beautiful cosmic color, perfect for fall! And it really lasted. For the price, I'm seriously impressed! I expect this quality from salon brands that cost twice as much (or more.)

I carry one in my pocket everywhere. If I forget it, I have to buy one. I am a lip stick addict and I used to switch off between Blistex and Burt's regular because they always seemed to lose effectiveness over time. Now I will only use Burt's Nurishing. I has a fruity flavor and scent (which I personally like better than mint). It goes on smoother and less thickly than normal Burt's. It does not have the medicated tingle, so if you like that sensation you may not like this stuff. However, it conditions my lips better and I never have episodes of chapping.

I use this at night before bed because it is a really great long-lasting lip protector. I use it only at night because I hate the scent! If you can smell it before buying, I would recommend that. I have friends who love it, but its too medicinal for me.

Great colors, goes on easy with few coats, lasts forever. What more do you need? Well, I guess it would be nice if it was also cheap, but oh well!

Very cool idea, right?! But poor execution. Here's the thing: the trick to long lasting, chip free nail color is thin layers, right? Problem is, for this color to work, you need to apply a thick, thick coat. It chips right away! And I don't have a very hard-on-the-nails job; I'm a therapist! Usually my polish lasts AT LEAST 3 days at the very worst. This stuff chipped the next morning. Fail. It sure looked cool for the first few hours, though, so I might use it for a special occasion if it matched an outfit well.
