So when you combine my obsession with nail polish with my love of subscription boxes, you get It costs $19.99 a month to become a "Maven." They send you an email on the 20th of every month and give you a preview of the nail polish they've selected for you. Then they give you until the 24th to change your style selection or skip a month. I especially like that part because with other services I've been really disappointed with certain boxes. This way you can select exactly which box you want, or decide to save yourself some money. But then I remember the fact that I'm poor... Oh wait! Julep gives you your first box free! (You have to pay $3.99 for s&h, but even I can afford that.) I took their style quiz, but didn't like what I got (I never do, those quizzes are always wrong.) Luckily, Julep gives you the option to look at all the box options and just pick which one you want. I chose Classic With A Twist. I figured both colors were simple and safe, I'm sure to love them, plus this will give me a chance to try some of their other products. After a few days, I got an email with my tracking code and patiently (lies) awaited my Julep Box's arrival. And then it came! It was like Christmas! It was packaged very cute. I quickly unwrapped everything, and here is the complete box contents: A Welcome Maven introduction card with info about the program, a Classic with a Twist card with info about the style profile I'd selected, two colors of nail polish, Mint Condition Pedi Creme, and complementary hand scrub. LETS START THE NAIL POLISH REVIEW! I chose the Classic with a Twist because they seemed to be simple, classic colors that would give me a good idea of the quality of the polish. I ran into a mild annoyance right away. Upon opening the first color, I saw that the bottle hadn't been closed properly, so the polish had spilled all over inside the lid. You see, the bottles and lids are square shaped. To close the lid tightly, though, you have to twist it past the point of lining up. Not a huge deal, but if it had spilled all over in the box I would have been really peeved. Next thing I noticed is that there is a white sticker on the top of each nail polish lid that says "swatch," which is a cute idea! I know some people swatch their lids to easily identify the color. Except, how to you swatch the lid when the brush is connected to the lid? Again, not a huge deal, but kinda weird. So I proceeded to apply the polishes. I used my favorite Essie base coat and applied two thin layers of Julep. The color goes on okay. Not fabulous. Its a little less sheer and less runny than I usually find Essie to be, and a tad runnier than OPI usually tends to be. The first coat covered decently well, but a second coat was definitely necessary. I feel like the polish dried darker than it seemed to be in pictures. Its a very pretty color! The polish doesn't go on like a dream. The brush is very thin, and completely round. I tend to like thicker, flatter brushes that allow me to use less strokes, and result in less streaks. I did not use any kind of quick dry methods, and I gave each layer 30 minutes to dry in between, but I still ended up with bubbles! I never get bubbles!! Bottom line: if this was a $1.99 drug store brand, I would be telling you to run to the store to get it! But for the price, I'm not impressed. *Update: Its now about 2 hours after writing my review, (which was about 2 hours after I completed my manicure) and I've noticed that the nail polish has worn off my tips. I get this sometimes with cheaper polishes, or quick dry polish. Make sure that you apply polish carefully so that it wraps around the tips.

I use this everyday for under my eyes. Its not thick enough to cover my bad dark circles, but its very easy to apply and does a wonderful job brightening my eyes up!

I have huge, dark, hereditary dark circles under my eyes and there is no other product that comes close to being able to cover them! Plus, this brightens and makes me look wide awake

This isn't the absolute very best exfoliant ever, but its definitely the most gentle! I hate exfoliants that feel like its scrubbing off my face. This is a great exfoliant without any scrubbing feeling.
