I feel like I am violating some sacred beauty code, but I actually don't reallllly care too much for UD's original primer potion. I know it's a cult favorite and it isn't bad but it just didn't sit right with my eyes. I found the consistency a little thin and drying for my liking. I have super oily eyelids so when I put something on my lids that really dries things out...something is wrong. Also my eyeshadow began creasing after about 4 hours which bummed me out. Oh well. Too Faced and BareMinerals make amazing primers, I prefer those. Sorry Urban Decay! I adore everything else you make! :)

Naked 2 once again proves that the quality of an Urban Decay eyeshadow is unparalleled. I own both Naked 2 and the original Naked palette and make great use of both. Comparing the two, Naked 2 is generally more cool-toned next to the original's warmer, more summery shades. My favorite shades in Naked 2 are Chopper (a gorgeous sparkly rose gold), Suspect (a light, shimmery, sandy brown) and YDK (a STUNNING bronzy, taupey mocha with a texture that must be felt to be believed. it is so buttery soft, you can barely feel it when swatching it. amazing.). I HIGHLY recommend this palette because you will use it every day and cuddle it every night. ♥ Also the lip gloss it comes with is so cute. Great quality, a wearable neutral pink color, moisturizing and a yummy minty smell.

The beauty gods were smiling down on us when they made this gorgeous palette. How did I live without it? It's the most gorgeous neutral palette with literally dozens of possible color combinations. The shadow quality is phenomenal- it IS Urban Decay, after all- and the value is terrific considering an individual UD shadow costs like $18 dollars. Love love love!! My only gripe, and it is a small one, is that the brush it comes with isn't the best. It sucks as a shadow brush BUT I've discovered that it's actually a great concealer brush; so you can still make good use of it, just not for its intended purpose.
