Greetings from New York Fashion Week!
- Posted by Kristen on September 9, 2008 at 05:04PM

Charli and I are in New York City all week to cover the craziness that goes on backstage during fashion shows. We'll be getting the scoop on what beauty trends you can expect to see in the spring and share beauty tricks the hair and makeup pros use to make every model look amazing for her strut down the runway. We'll also introduce you to Emily Warren, a makeup artist and this week's guest editor. She'll be doing makeup for shows throughout the week and will give you an insider's sneak peek into the life of a makeup artist during this very hectic, but exciting time. Stay tuned ...

September Is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month
- Posted by Charli on September 11, 2008 at 05:36PM

While we're gearing up for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and promoting greater awareness of breast cancer, I'd like to take a moment to recognize the men in our lives. September is Prostate Cancer Awareness month, so make sure your guy gets his checkups, especially if he's age 40 or older (although younger men can still get it).

Did you catch the new "90210" last night on the CW? What did you think? We thought original 90210 stars Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty looked amazing! Although ... I couldn't help but notice how much their faces have changed over the last 10 years. Perhaps it's the hair or makeup ... or perhaps it's something else? Have a look:

Solutions to the Sarah Palin Updo
- Posted by Charli on September 2, 2008 at 05:07PM

Has anyone noticed that in nearly every photo op, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, John McCain's VP nominee, sports the same updo? We managed to track down a few shots of her with her hair down -- a great look we think she should wear more often. But with many similar political hairstyles out there -- safe, plain and often up -- we're wondering: What do you think of the hairstyles of women in politics in general?
LUSH Employees Bare It All for a Cause
- Posted by Sarah on August 29, 2008 at 03:08PM

On Wednesday, brave employees in LUSH stores in 23 cities across the country wore only aprons that said "Ask me why I'm naked" to protest the over-use of packaging and educate customers about the impact packaging has on the environment. (See them below -- don't worry, we blurred out anything that's not PG.)

I'm so thrilled Misty May-Treanor is going to be on "Dancing With The Stars" this season. Have I mentioned that I went to high school with Misty? Well, I did. So it's been so exciting to see her career take off.
