Gillette's Venus Embrace is a dream, smoothing legs, getting every hair with the least amount of effort. The Embrace has 5 curve hugging blades and protective ribbons of moisture, ensuring soft silky legs after a quick shave. Included in the package you will receive a shower pod and two cartridges for future use. If you want your best shave and silky smooth skin afterwards, Venus Embrace is for you. However, please do not: trickle some water on it, to do a semi dry shave, after work, on the run, before your self tanning lotion application, before a happy hour meetup. Yeh. Ouch. Embarrassing. *Ladies with sensitive skin (especially under the arms) beware. Rubbing blades across the skin can be irritating. Five times the contact with blades on the skin with the Venus Embrace may make for a terrible reaction.

Ahh Kate looks fabulous, enticing us to try the new YSL Parisienne. I've never been to Paris. Could the scent take me there? Will this be a Parisian experience? Is this the way Paris, the city of romance smells? Deep, sensuous, edgy, mysterious, seductive? With notes of blackberry, damask rose, violet, peony, blackberry, musk and patchouli this fragrance makes me feel alluring and sophisticated at first, but after total dry down, I'm torn between this being a mature frangrance (not fitting for me) or even a slight lingering of fragrance over a personal smell, thanks to the warm, woodsy notes. Confusing much? I am about this fragrance. The warmer months welcome this flirty, but muted fragrance. Will you?

Q Tips has redesigned the packaging for their medium sized packs. This size has existed in the regular blue Q Tip packaging, but I've never come across them. It's nice to have this available now in a handy box with pretty designs for your vanity.

Chapstick is one of those classic products that I grew up with. It satisfies that basic, simple need to moisturize and soothe dry lips. Convenient, pocket friendly and unisex. How LL Cool J hasn't gotten hip to this product, I don't know. He would probably stop licking his lips so much. No ladies, that is not sexy! I digress. Chapstick's newest product is the Chapstick True Shimmer ($2.50-$3)-- flavorful balm with shimmer for a bit of sparkle. This item has been on shelves for a little while now, but Chapstick introduced two new flavors: Peppermint Rush and Blended Fruit Sherbert. Of the existing flavors, I had only tried Tropical after reading Brittany- Clumps of Mascara's review. Me no likey. It was a bit pasty for my lips and there wasn't much more to write home about. Blended Fruit Sherbert was quite tastey, but I needed it to be more. Peppermint Rush is a blue stick, but not to worry. The color is very subtle. This concoction soothes lips and is minty fresh which is A+ in my book. The shimmer isn't as noticeable. While I could take regular Chapstick or even cherry Chapstick any day, the Peppermint Rush is definitely a bonus to the line!

love these sweet little pots of glass. they have great sheer color, a nice consistency keeping your puckers moist and juicy. comparable to mac's potted lip balms! great product!

great lip glosses like their old single tube glosses-- but! it's 2 for one! the glosses compliment each other, one light shade, one dark. i like being able to blend the glosses, but i would have rather had a duo ended gloss. the two tubes are a bit cumbersome to try to squeeze to get a good mix. the price gets a bit steep too!

it's your average, decent, drugstore mascara. this appears to be CoverGirl's lashblast's twin under a different name, dressed in black. fortunately, i got used to this mascara wand and was able to coat and define all of my lashes. the color is a gorgeous black. the tube is thick and chunky, as is the wand. don't expect unbelievable volume or length.

You can set aside some 'me' time and mix this delicious blend for at home skin polish treat or for the woman on the go, it's a quick pick me up prior to a mani. The invigorating scent of lemon and coriander rejuvinates you and gets you ready for the day planned ahead. No time for even a quick 5 min hand exfoliation? Use the yummy body butter alone for moisturizer. I love this, but points taken off because it isn't recessionista friendly.

i don't prefer a two step mascara, but i'll do what i have to for my volume. this mascara didn't wow me any more than any other two step mascara, but i will say that i definitely love the tube technology. the one thing that i hate most about my makeup removal routine is getting rid of all traces of mascara. this product makes life so much easier as the tubes just slide off! its weird at first, but no racoon eyes, no traces of mascara... i continue to use it for that reason alone. other pros of this mascara: long wearing and no flaking.
