First off, the packaging is a PAIN to open. It takes a lot of playing around to be able to get it open. It is recommended to use the darker color on the outside arch of the brow and use the lighter color on the inside part. However, I often bypass this by applying the same shadow wet which makes it darker and more intense on the outside, and apply it dry which is softer and lighter on the inside. Therefore, the second color is useless to me. Third, I have never been a fan of waxes. Although some people work best with grooming wax, I am perfectly happy with the more lightweight alternative of a brow setting gel. Therefore, I had to return this.

I've used countless different foundations. Some of my favorites have given me flawless buildable coverage, but are still lightweight like a second skin. Although this gives you a beautiful natural finish, it still feels like I am wearing makeup. After a while of using foundations that felt weightless, using this really bothered me. Therefore, that's my biggest complaint. Also, there are only a handful of shades, so be careful if you often have difficulty matching your shade with other foundations.

I am a fan of the Too Faced Shadow Insurance primer--it's my favorite (even more than UD primer potion). It really depends on the texture of your lid when it comes to preference of a eye shadow primer. This leaves a golden sheen that can be worn alone on the lid or brow bones, or you can put on shadow over this to give a golden shimmer to your shadow. You only need a little bit on your lid, less is more. I recommend using a brush to spread this evenly and so that you control where the shimmer smudges.

Philosophy Purity Made Simple High Foaming Daily Cleanser
Listen to the others--the original is better.
First off, if you have more oily skin, it is recommended that use use more of a foaming wash, such as this. If you have drier skin, use a creamier wash like the original Purity. I remove my makeup with a wipe prior to cleansing my face anyways so I'm not particularly concerned with whether or not it has the same ability to remove makeup like the original. Although I like how well this foams when you pump it out, it leaves me with a tight squeaky feeling that I am not particularly fond of. I like the original Purity because it didn't leave a tight feeling. My biggest complaint is how fast this bottle seems to blast through. I feel that I get more uses out of the original Purity because it was a more potent cream cleanser, than this foam cleanser which requires more to clean your face. Although some people may rave about this, I prefer the original.

Another wonderful skin care product from Bare Escentuals! I love this cream because it is super-nourishing on your skin. I use a Clarisonic at night and with my old cream which is a little lighter more like a gel, it seemed to sting a little bit. With this Renew and Hydrate Eye Cream, it's very thick and creamy, but it doesn't sting the skin around my eye. It leaves my skin so soft and supple after using this. What this does is inject lots of moisture to diminish fine lines and wrinkles. It does not do much for depuffing or under eye circles. Therefore, I recommend using this at night when you need intense moisture from a long day. If you use eye makeup, the pigment tends to dry the delicate area around your eye and this product nourishes that area very well. $32 is a bargain compared to most eye creams, but the best thing about this is that it's not going to irritate your eyes because it doesn't contain the chemicals that most products use.

I love Too Faced! These shadows are pigmented, and work best when using the Too Faced Shadow Insurance eye primer. If you love super satin sheen and neutral colors, then this set is great for you. I never use the applicator that comes with this.

I received a gift set from someone of the Amazing Grace series. Although I admire the gesture, I'm not a huge fan. Although this hand lotion is wonderful--so moisturizing and keeps my eczema at bay, I do not like the scent of it. That's just my personal taste though, others may feel differently! I prefer the regular Hands of Hope from Philosophy!

I received a deluxe sample of this. When I first tried it, I thought I fell in love with it! It felt so creamy and hydrating to my face, not to mention that it absorbs like a dream. This can be used as a day or night cream (if using in the morning, remember to wear sunscreen!). Normally, whenever I moisturize in the morning, by the late afternoon my face begins to show some signs of drying and slight tightness. Using this, my face felt well hydrated all day long. Like I said I THOUGHT I fell in love with this, after a full day and night's use of this product, I started breaking out. Normally I do not break out after using a moisturizer, but I noticed a bit of a flare of mild bumps all over my face. This really frustrates me because I was so impressed with this product initially. Thank goodness it was only a deluxe sample, because had I bought it, I would have had to return it. This might be great for people with dryer skin and not acne prone, but I would definitely ask for a sample to try before you buy!

The deep cleansing pore brush is my favorite! It cleans everything out so well that over time I have noticed a significant reduction in the size of my massive pores. I also have noticed fewer breakouts. This brush is effective, yet it is gentle on my skin. Love it!

Although I was eager to try Korres for its natural makeup and skin care, I was not impressed with this tinted moisturizer. First off, it made my skin feel greasy and heavy, even when I set it with translucent powder. I have combination skin so this might be why. I agree with other users--if you have predominately dry skin, this might be useful for you, but I had to return this.
