I'm an Asian girl with very very pale skin with a neutral undertone, and since I'm very prone to breakouts, wanted a healthy glow without oil as a base ingredient. I love that this is oil-free, and a gel so as not to make you look too super-slick in the summer, but I was surprised when I squirted it out for the first time because the gel was very shimmery. It seems overly shimmery in itself, but the shimmer miraculously gets toned down when you actually apply it to your face and chest. However, the shade is a true bronze, not a natural-looking golden tan, so my face looked a little coppery and unnatural, considering how pale I usually am.

This is a very good moisturizer for oily skin - the gel is extremely watery (it's very water-based, according to the Clinique counter lady) and I love how cool and refreshing your face feels when you put it on. I love that it's oil-free because my skin is acne-prone, but I'm somewhat a dry-combination type at the same time, so this gel is not moisturizing enough. I sometimes put this on and the lotion version on the drier areas, such as the jawline and around my nose and mouth. I recently discovered Neutrogena oil-free fresh moisture, which is even better than this gel - it's perfect for my skin type because it keeps it hydrated all day, unlike the Clinique gel, which I have to supplement with the lotion version.

Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Cream WetForce Broad Spectrum SPF 50+
Great, but not as great as the lotion version
I am a sunscreen fanatic - I've tried virtually every sunscreen out there. I bought both this cream and the lotion version, but the lotion won out and I will be returning this one. This is probably very good for sensitive skin; it worked well when I was on retinol. The white cast that all sunscreens have isn't as visible with this one, and the scent is fantastic - it reminds me of xylitol, the freshening ingredient in chewing gum. However, the lotion version is a lot cheaper considering that you get one more ounce, and is lighter and more matte. This one takes some time to dry, so it's great if you want to put liquid foundation over it, but not as much if you wear a powder foundation, such as Bareminerals, which can cake if the product beneath is too sticky. The PA rating is +++, which means that this sunscreen is very effective at blocking aging, wrinkle-causing UVA rays in addition to burning UVB rays indicated by the SPF rating.

I'm a sunscreen freak - I've probably tried every kind out there. I have very fair, acne-prone, ombination Asian skin that never burns, but I'm also very scared of sun damage so always wear sunscreen. This is not really a lotion; it's more of a milk, which makes it extremely easy to apply. It feels moisturizing (which may also be seen as greasy), but becomes completely matte after about 5 to 10 minutes, so I apply moisturizer before. I like the scent; it reminds me of xylitol, the freshening ingredient in chewing gum. This is spectacular for sensitive skin and eyes - I sometimes get it in my eyes but it doesn't sting! There's also been new research about chemical sunscreen agents being unstable and needing to be reapplied every hour or two (such as Helioplex in Neutrogena sunscreens and Mexoryl in Anthelios SX and Lancome), but this contains physical suncreens, which don't melt into your skin, but sit on top of your skin, which prevents it from degrading as fast. I also love how the PA rating is +++; this means that in addition to burning UVB rays, this blocks the aging and wrinkle-causing UVA rays very well.

I used this when my skin was extremely sensitive, dry, and peeling from Accutane. It's really creamy, but does NOT lather, which is great because it means it's not stripping your skin, and the scent is fantastic - it smells really herbal and natural. However, if you're actually looking to cleanse deep into your pores, I'd recommend a washcloth with this cleanser because it doesn't take everything off completely; some stubborn makeup or waterproof sunscreens will definitely have a hard time being taken off with this.

It seems strange that people like me that are acne-prone can use this; it's clear that it's oil-based. But it does a wonderful job taking off everything - I have sensitive eyes so always wear waterproof everything, but this takes every last bit off. I don't feel like it's stripping my eye area either; the oil feels soothing and conditions the area.

This cleanser has a creamy consistency that feels luxurious and smells very organic and satisfying. I use it in the mornings and sometimes at night when my face is feeling sensitive, but I alternate with a glycolic acid cleanser for night because the milk is so gentle that it doesn't seem to completely remove foundation. It's great for every day however, but I wouldn't recommend it for removing hard-to-remove foundations such as Estee Lauder Double Wear.

This concealer had the perfect shade for my extremely-fair-asian-but-not-yellow-toned skin (shade b), which I was amazed at. I used to use the Mary Kay Signature concealer, which had a great creamy consistency but a too-dark color, and switched to this one because it has the same creamy feel. It covers very well, and doesn't look cakey because the liquid is so light. On blemishes a couple dabs will suffice. It doesn't last on the face very long - about half a day, but it's great for touch-ups since it doesn't cake.

I bought this foundation on the spot because of all the rave reviews and hype, but was truly disappointed. First the foundation wouldn't spill out of the bottle, so I tried thumping it for a few minutes until it finally reached the opening. It felt like a thick, semi-solid instead of a liquid, which would help the foundation stay put and not erase, but would also mean extremely difficult blending. I had dry-looking areas around my eyes, nose, and mouth because it wouldn't blend and dried before I got a chance to. It really does control oil and covers almost like a full-coverage foundation though, but looks kind of like a mask on. At night I couldn't get it off with warm water and a glycolic acid cleanser!! It was agony!! The next day the lady at the Clinique counter had a hard time taking it off too, and told me I had dry skin - but I told her no, it was the poor blending!

I\'m always looking for the perfect foundation - this comes pretty close! I have normal skin but tend to break out, and this is great since it\'s oil-free. It\'s a light liquid so it\'s easy to blend, and since the finish is semi-matte it only needs a little powder to set. I\'ve tried Estee Lauder Double Wear and had the hardest time blending because it felt almost like a thick solid, and would NOT wash off with cleanser! I have extremely fair asian skin, however, but am neither yellow-toned nor pink, and Superfit doesn\'t seem to carry the right color. But who cares as long as it\'s perfect everywhere else? I just look a little tan:)
