I purchased this one in "Soft Plum" which is a beautifully pigmented shade that gives my lips a naturally flushed color. The shine is soft, not vinyl-like or over the top, and I also appreciate the fact that these are unscented. The formulation is creamy and light, and reminds me more of a liquid lipstick. The shimmer is very pretty, not glittery or gritty and the application with the doe-foot wand is convenient as well. Because these aren't the thickest out there, the staying power is fair at best, but this also means that the stickyness thats present in longer wearing glosses aren't an issue with these. Your hair won't adhere to your lips every time the wind blows, which is a nice! My lips stay soft while wearing this, so I detect a good amount of moisturization from these as well. I'd prefer L'oreal to put a bit more product in the container than you get in these for the price, but overall, a really good gloss and I'm planning on trying a couple of the other colors!

This gloss is, at best, simply an average one. For me, it has no staying power to speak of, and the large particles of glitter are both unflattering and uncomfortable on your lips. They impart almost a scratchy feeling. I think CoverGirl would do well to re-evaulate their formulation for these and perhaps replace the chunks of glitter with smaller specks of shimmer instead. I don't find them to have the beneficial moisturizing aspect of a balm, like is claimed, rather they just slide on smoothly and then slip off in a few minutes even without taking a sip of water or having a bite to eat. They are not very pigmented either, so don't expect to get a good color pay off with these. I won't be repurchasing.

I have always loved Neutrogena products, and I had high hopes for this one, but I'm sorry to say that it didn't perform like I had hoped. I liked the fact that it claimed to be nourishing, as it contains both olive and sweet almond oils, because I'd like to be able to have the lash conditioning and mascara in one product. And I have sensitive skin, so the more natural ingredients the better. It did look beautiful initially when I first sweeped the brush through my top lashes; it wasn't dramatic but just simple and natural, which is what I wanted. The color was pure black and deep, like I wanted as well. The results weren't voluminous as claimed though, but I was ok with that because I wasn't really going for volume here, even though thats supposedly what this one is for. However, I found the large wand to be much too awkward to use when trying to get the bottom lashes and the inside corner ones. It wouldn't really even coat my bottom ones, because the bristles just aren't situated in a way that will allow for thorough application, in my opinion. Also, though I don't have oily eyelids or an oily eye area in general, I noticed pretty soon after I applied this that the mascara was flaking off and leaving a light black dusting beneath my eyes. I touched up with a q-tip, but throughout the day, I found this to continue to happen and that to me, is a deal breaker because I want my mascara to stay put. So, although the formula is silky and healthy, the staying power wasn't good for me and neither was the application. I'll stick to my CoverGirl LashExact for now.

This one is my signature scent. It's just perfect for year-round, everyday wear because it's both fresh and light. It's not the least bit overpowering, and I can be sensitive to a lot of perfumes out there. It's soft yet still noticeable, and the apple leaf notes make it incredibly crisp and refreshing. I would describe it as a blend of fruity citruses with a touch of floral; it has very sweet undertones, but not so much so that the sweetness is cloying. It's very feminine and like other reviewers have said, youthful. It almost evokes a scent you would expect to experience in the middle of a lush rainforest. And it isn't offensive, as I said, to those who are often bothered by perfumes like myself and I get so many compliments when I wear it! It's not a fragrance that turns rancid once it mixes with your body chemistry like many perfumes that I've tested and its fairly long lasting for an EDT, a couple spritzes on your neck and pulse points and you're good to go for the day! Highly recommended and will definitely continue repurchasing this as I use it up!

I absolutely adore these lip balms!! My favorite one has been the Exotic Passionfruit scent, but they seem to have discontinued it. These have a silky & smooth formulation that glides easily onto your lips, leaving a natural sheen and very little, if any, color. They aren't fake smelling or tasting, as they're made with natural extracts, which is another thing I love about The Body Shop's products in general. This is the one balm I've tried (and I've tried countless brands and varieties, being the lip product lover that I am) that truly lives up to your expectations of the moisturizing aspect. It leaves your lips soft, sweet, and kissable, with no stickyness or artificial flavor/color. I've never been a big fan of pot balms and glosses, just because I'm not fond of applying them with my finger, but in this case, I overlook that because I love everything else about these so much! Couldn't ask for more in a balm!

This lotion does wonders to warm up your skin tone! It imparts a gorgeous golden sheen on the skin, which especially works well to compliment a summer tan. The shimmer particles are tiny, which is perfect because it produces a flattering glistening effect when standing in the sunlight. I've found that most companies, in their attempt to make a similar product, are not able to discern the meaning of "glitter" apart from "shimmer", so the result is an overdone, over-sparkly finish. And I for one, do not want to look like I've just smoothed large specks of glitter all over myself. They've got it right with this one, though, because the glimmer is subtle while still being beneficial, and looks beautiful when used as a highlighter for the shoulders and decollete. I can't say that I'm crazy over the scent; its much too floral, but luckily, it fades pretty quickly after application. The hydrating properties don't seem to work as well as claimed, so I can't see it taking the place of your usual moisturizer, but this isn't a big concern for me because I purchased it soley for the shimmer quality, which I really love!!
