I love that this soft, dome-shaped brush works with so many different formulas. I can use it for blush, powder or foundation. It covers a wide swath of skin but can still get into crevices while blending out foundation.

Soft, densely packed bristles that pick up product easily. I love these for applying highlighter and blending out my concealer.

A comfortable, pigmented lipstick with a satin finish. Color is rich and lasts a decent amount of time. Just an easy, no-fuss lipstick for a good price.

Goes on smoothly and evenly, smells delicious, and provides saturated color that lasts. You'll need to layer on the lip balm to keep your lips from drying out, though.

Pretty, pigmented, matte lipstick that has a subtle sweet scent to it. It doesn't dry down completely, which means it's more comfortable, but also has less longevity.

This was so beyond gorgeous on my coworker that I had to run out to get my own. It has an awesome notched applicator that makes application foolproof. The color is richly pigmented, and a true matte -- which looks stunning on. Mine does not stay all day (though the longevity is impressive), and wears off patchily. It is also sadly drying. It's a beautiful date-night lipstick that I'll continue to wear. Just be sure to check your mirror for touchups.

OK, so this lipstick doesn't have a ton of longevity, but it delivers everything else in spades. Let's call it the matte lipstick for people who hate matte lipstick. This formula is supercreamy and comfortable. It delivers on the velvety promise -- rich, deep, pigmented color that looks so gorgeous on the lips. It goes on evenly and easily. It doesn't dry down so it does transfer, thus, you'll need a few reapplications throughout the day. On the plus side, it wears evenly, so you don't look like you're wearing lip liner only.

I'm really taken by this hydrating lip gloss. It gives me a pretty, plump pout and actually feels moisturizing. Great for older, thinning lips.

I started using medical-grade lanolin on my lips when I was nursing. I figured, if it's good for chapped other things, it'd be good for my lips as well. It's nice to see it being used in other products now. Like other pure lanolin products, this does take some massaging to soften/warm up, but I don't mind it. It doesn't hurt that the packaging is really cute, too.
