The colors in the Satin-I collection for brown eyes are simply lovely. Pure and true color pay-off. I also used my old Amethyst liner I bought with my original kit for brown eyes, but it was too light and so I went over it with a black pencil and created a stunning, deep blue-violet liner. Anyway, my brown eyes did look as if they were glowing. Or maybe it was just because I liked the color so much. ;) Great product, but only the Satin-I line, not a fan of the original line.

Eww. Who wants glitter left on their lips after the glossy shine has worn away? I used to love the older version of this, but now there is simply too much glitter/sparkle in it. I tried #300 in Vital Violet a few times and it's just too glittery. Perhaps it's just this particular shade? The consistency is smooth and light for a gloss, though, not too thick or gloppy. It is also highly fragrant and smells like blueberry muffins. So, all in all, I probably won't be using this again. I'm too old for all the glitter and I'm sure my boyfriend won't appreciate it all over his face either!

This stuff simply DOES NOT work. I have no idea why I even bought it, as my hair is usually pretty smooth and shiny anyway. This product actually made my hair dull and flat looking. It didn't wash out well and left my hair feeling sticky. Didn't notice any shine, no hint of anything the least bit "luminous". And it's kind of smelly. I feel bad that I wasted the money on this and I still have half a bottle left. Into the garbage it goes, I guess.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream (daytime) is my MUST-HAVE moisturizer/anti-aging staple. But I suddenly can't find it here in any local drugstores in Connecticut. Please don't tell me that it's been discontinued! I've been using this fantastic product for YEARS and it's been amazing. I'm 40 and look ten+ years younger. Does anyone know if it's been discontinued? Thanks!

I loved Proactiv when I used it for a year or so back in '06. The whole system worked wonders for my acne ~ I even stopped using it and my skin seemed to be fine for a long time. Just last month, I broke out wildly - big, red deep pimples and was horrified, so I ordered the smaller bottles of the cleanser, toner & cream. But after just four days, my skin became incredibly dry and flakey. I was miserable and had to quit using it for about four days and just used my regular moisturiser. So, as common sense dictates, I decided to use the Proactive system ONCE a day only....to combat the dryness. So far, it's going much better and my skin IS DEFINITELY clearing up. I believe the product does work, but you must be the judge of how much and how often to use it. Also, I'm amazed that some people are complaining about the bleaching of hair and fabrics. The main ingredient is benzoyl PEROXIDE, people. Peroxide is BLEACH. They mention this on the package: may cause bleaching of hair and fabrics. Uh, yeah.

This is a basic gloss that provides lots of shine and moisture. Not so long-lasting on me, but glosses aren't usually known for their staying power. I have two of these ~ Soft Coral (almost imperceptible on my lips, but gorgeous in the package!) and the very richly colored Rich Brown (lots of color with this shade). I really like that this gloss doesn't make my lips start to peel....it's very smooth and feels silky, not at all gloppy or gooey. I would definitely buy this again.

I only own two Colour Riche lipsticks ~ one in Nature's Blush and another one in Sunwash. This lipstick goes on smoothly and is very rich with a huge color payoff. The scent, while annoying to some, is lovely to me ~ almost flowery. It's fairly long lasting ~ I applied at the beginning of my commute and it still looked fresh when I reached Grand Central, two hours, three phone calls and a medium coffee later! Very creamy in texture and comfortable to wear, I may just have to start using this more... it's definitely a lot less than my usual Clinique lipstick.

I've been using this shadow FOR YEARS. I'm currently using "Stylish Smokes" and use three of the colors in the package. There's always one color out of the four that is really sparkly and shimmery, which I don't use, so it goes to waste. But other than that, I love these shadows. The color payoff is HUGE ~ deep, dark and beautiful color, smooth application and excellent blendability. I prefer to use the sponge-tip applicators that come with it....they seem to deliver more color per application. I blend with a brush afterwards. I've tried using a brush to apply, but the color goes on too weak. As a fan of a darker smoky eye that is easy and simple, Maybelline New York shadows win every time.

I'm supposedly blessed with a full, Angelina Jolie-ish pout but my lips are always getting chapped and dry, which makes me just want to hide them. So I always stayed away from lipstick. Until I found Butter Shine. It's a perfect lipstick for non-lipstick users! The name suits the product perfectly. The formula, packaged in a gorgeous bamboo-inspired silver tube, is moist and soft and goes on smoothly, almost like a balm. It's exceedingly comfortable to wear and so easy to apply, not dry or heavy-feeling. It gives your lips a subtle, glossy shine and the colors are so beautiful. However, this lipstick does NOT have staying power. But it's such a pleasure to apply, who cares? I use Delovely ~ a gorgeous pinkish-nude ~ and also have a tube of Perfect Plum.

I just bought this two days ago. Not a fan. The brush is flat, supposedly to do something wonderful, but I can't figure out what. The mascara initally came out and the wand was barely coated and then, with the second swipe, the wand was CLUMPED with mascara! So, of course my lashes looked very clumped. They were caked with mascara and spidery-looking when it dried. I normally use a clean spooly brush to separate after applying any mascara, but even that did nothing to help! The color is a beautiful, glossy black, but that's about this mascara's only redeeming quality. Won't be buying this again.
