    Shu Uemura Brightening Cleansing Oil

Get Radiant with Shu Uemura Brightening Oil

Like their other cleansing oils, this is a dual product - a makeup remover and cleanser in one. What could be better than a two for one?? I’ve using the High Performance Balancing Cleansing Oil, Enriched and I love how well it works so I’m sure that the Brightening Oil will not disappoint. Radiant, gorgeous skin - here I come!

Bliss Triple Oxygen Self-Activating Facial With O2 Molecules

Get Some Air with Bliss Triple Oxygen Mask

I just started using it and I have to say, it’s one of the more enjoyable products I’ve tested in recent months. Start with clean, damp skin and massage about 3 pumps of the Triple Oxygen Mask on your face. A little bit of the product will go a long way. Almost instantly you’ll notice that the creamy gel texture you started with will begin to foam up once it hits water. For me, I gently massaged the mask into my skin for about a minute and then let it foam up and fizzle out before rinsing. The waiting period is the fun part. My face actually feels like it’s transforming because the foam is fizzy and tingly on the skin. After the rinse, my skin does feel a little taut but it’s nothing that a little night moisturizer can’t cure - you can use this in the morning too but my AM routine just doesn’t have the time for it. Overall, I’m not really noticing a huge difference in the appearance of my skin as far as younger-looking or glowing other than my face always looks refreshed after I wash it anyway. I’ll definitely give it a few more tries over the next few weeks to see what kind of results I’ll see.

  • Vichy Laboratories Meokine Intensive Wrinkle Corrector Care for Eye

I recently learned about Vichy being here in the US. But when I tried this product, I really didn't like it at all. I only used it once - it didn't dry very well on my skin and left yucky white splotches on my face. Definitely not cute. It was enough for me to never try this product again.

    CoverGirl Lash Blast Volume Mascara

It's a good one, but not my favorite

This mascara is a decent one that I’d recommend over some others that I’ve tried. It gave me some length, which is always good because I have super short lashes. It also provided some volume but not lots. Also, on this particular day it clumped a little bit. Maybe because I was in a hurry to apply a couple of coats. With a little more care, as The Makeup Girl suggests, I’ll get better results.

    La Mer The Radiant Infusion

    Not worth the price..

I really found this to be hard to apply with my fingers, as directed. This product also broke me out and left me with icky skin for a week or so - definitely not worth the price tag.

    Just okay

I've switched from using a neutral color in Paints as a base because I couldn't squeeze out all the product in it. I'm now using shadesticks, the packaging is nicer and they work just as well!

I used to wear these all the time, they're super cute, easy to apply and make my eyes look super flirty! Love them :)

    MAC 169 Angled Blush

    My first angled blush brush

This brush is an interesting one for me as I've never used an angled brush before. Still getting used to it, but it picks up color well and distributes on my cheek - meaning it doesn't stay on the brush, hidden in the bristles. It's soft and I'm enjoying it so far :)

  • Elizabeth Arden Intervene Pause & Effect Moisture Cream SPF 15

I have a weak spot for things that smell like peaches. And although, I hate products that come in jars (the sanitary issues, people - I’m sorry!) I think this Elizabeth Arden cream moisturizes well and sinks into my skin when I apply it with my fingers. It's also a little bit greasy - it doesn't bother me, but I'd recommend this during the colder, drier season.

  • Vichy Laboratories Detoxifying Rinse-off Foam Cleanser

It takes a lot for me to stray from my regular cleanser, so when I tried this one, while it was fine, I wasn't completely in love with it. The texture out of the tube is light and feathery. It lathers and cleans fairly well. I'd recommend this to others looking for an inexpensive cleanser.
