I have heard that Herbal Essences builds up on your hair, but I have not experienced this problem and the company responded to my email concerning that saying that everything can be washed off. I have Asian hair that is flat and straight. This shampoo did give me volume along with a great scent compared to others I have used. The only drawback for me is that my hair could have been softer. I used the conditioner that matches and adding more just weighed down the volume.

I tried this conditioner with the shampoo and it made a huge difference in the softness and appearance of my hair. I followed the instructions given on the back of the bottle to apply mainly mid-shaft to ends and put the remaining on my scalp. When I got out of the shower and blow dried, all of my hair was very soft and smooth, including the crown and roots which did not receive a lot of conditioner. After trying tons of shampoos and conditioners for my flat, Asian hair, this is one I'm going to be keeping.

I was looking through high-rated shampoos because I have tried dozens for my flat, Asian hair. I had heard that volumizing/thickening shampoos and conditioners coated your hair to make the strands fatter, which actually weighed them down. Since a lot of the volumizing shampoos I had had were not giving me great results (and that my hair didn't feel soft), I decided that I would try a non-volumizing shampoo. The reviews here were great, so I tried it with the conditioner and LOVED IT. My hair was very voluminous when compared to other shampoos I had used with the same root spray, blowdrying techniques, etc. But the softness was what got me. I hate having hair that feels dry and course. This made my hair really feel like silk.

I was not expecting much from this mascara, as I have relatively short, Asian eyelashes. Application was easy and my eyelashes actually showed! I paired this with the volume mascara by NYX next and they are probably my favorite mascaras so far.

I love this eyeliner. Pencils melt and smudge for me usually and liquid doesn't like to stay on my waterline much. This stays all day with minimal melting off of my waterline and I get a lot of uses out of one pot. The brush that comes with it is a bit harsh on the sensitive eye skin, so I bought my own and it works like a dream. Unfortunately, the brush needs to be taken very good care of or it'll get hard at the bristles. Simply cleaning it often and not dipping the brush in too deeply has kept mine functioning. Overall: I would recommend this to a friend.

This pencil is my alternative to Urban Decay's 24/7 eyeliner. It's not quite as good, but it's very considerable for an eye pencil, especially for the price. It does melt off of my waterline a bit, but they all seem to do that. When layered with liquid liner, it stayed quite well throughout the day. It was not quite like a liquid eyeliner in a pencil for me-- too smudgy. But I will definitely repurchase when I'm short on money for 24/7 pencils.

The was the first eyeliner I used of many. It's smooth going on, smudgeable, pigmented, and there's a wide variety of colors. Unfortunately, it does melt a little off of my waterline and it's pretty pricey. It's still an overall great eyeliner though, especially when gone over with eyeshadow or a liquid liner. A good product for a smaller price is CoverGirl LiquiLine Blast Eyeliner Pencil. It's almost as or maybe just as good as Urban Decay's 24/7 pencil, although it is a smaller pencil.
