As soon as I heard about this line, I was interested to try it because, as far as I know, it's the only drugstore line specifically for long-haired gals like myself. I have straight hair that is about average on the thickness scale. I do not consider my hair to be thin. That's why I was so surprised when this shampoo made the roots of my hair feel very heavy and almost greasy. Because it's for long hair, I'm guessing it just has extra moisturizers in it, which is a no-go unless you have very thick hair. From now on I'll stick with the leave-in conditioner and the conditioner from this line.

Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship Leave-in Split-End Protector for Long Hair
Achieves its purpose
Full disclosure: I have straight, manageable hair to begin with, so in terms of this making my hair less frizzy or more manageable, those really aren't issues with me. That said, I do get a TON of split ends because my hair is very long and I use a blow dryer daily. I can't necessarily say that this prevents split ends (how can I really tell if I already have them? my gut instinct is telling me this is a gimmick) but I can say that it's a great detangler and leave-in conditioner that does not weigh my hair down at all. All in all, I removed one point for the fact that this is a pump and I much prefer a top-down squeeze tube so I can get all the product out.

The GOOD: 1. For ladies with light skin, this line is spot on. While other brands tend to venture into the pink families (never flattering or natural looking), this one is nice and neutrally based (yellow, for lack of a better term)--especially light2 (the one I have). The colors are very forgiving and blend well to the point that I don't feel like I have anything on. 2. It feels very lightweight and gives light coverage. It is great for those who don't need to cover a lot of blemishes or those with generally good skin. 3. The price--at under $6 it's one of the cheapest at drugstore and in my opinion one of the best. The BAD really comes down to preference. 1. Like I said, this is a very light foundation. Some might love this and others might need some more coverage. If you have blemishes to cover or considerably uneven skin, this foundation is not for you. 2. I'm not sure that it is very long-wearing. When I use toner at night to remove my makeup I barely see any foundation if any on the cotton pad. This leads me to believe that most of it has worn off throughout the day, even though I don't consider myself to be someone who touches her face a lot, or sweats it off during the day. All in all, this makeup is a great value for the price. It's light, cheap and the colors are right. I'd definitely buy it again. Removed one star for lack of long-wear factor.

This hairspray is amazing for many reasons. First, a little goes a long way. Second, its hold is unbelievable. I have stick straight hair, and it is very difficult for me to hold a curl. When I use other hairsprays I have to spray it until it's a hard, pageant-esque concoction--not pretty (or natural). However, with this hairspray, I can curl my hair with an iron or with a setter and spray it and it never gets caked on, stiff, or crunchy (and I use a lot). And then it stays literally all day or night. I have never seen anything like this. Third, the price is great. I'm on my second bottle and I'll keep buying it as long as Dove keeps making it.

I love this blush. Because I have very very light skin and dark hair, I was looking for a cool toned pink blush just to bring some life into my skin in the winter. This blush is perfect. I actually have been getting compliments on my skin since I've started using this blush. Don't let the brightness of the pinks in the palette scare you. It does come off as a healthy bright cool pink, but it is SO light that you can layer on as much or as little as you prefer. As a matter of fact, the first swipe left me with almost no noticeable color on my cheeks and I am PALE. You can wear it just on the apples of your cheeks for a cute flush or as an all-over highlighter. Other bright pinks end up looking like paint on my cheeks, but not this one. I haven't tried it yet, but I would imagine that this blush would even go well as a highlighter over other deeper colors, if you prefer a deeper blush.

I use this blush every day. It stays on all day, and gives just the right amount of light pink color, which I love on my pale skin. I'm not the type of gal to go for deep blush hues because I'm so pale, so if you have tan/dark skin, this light, natural blush might not be for you. EDIT: I have since changed my thoughts on this blush--I gave it a 9. Silly me! I had yet to discover the heaven that is Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blends blush in the light pink. That is now my favorite. I will never buy another blush again. If you're pale like me, try the skin blends and don't let the bright pink scare you--it's unbelievable.

I know it sounds a little extreme, but this product really did make my skin look more luminous. I can't think of a better, less cliche-sounding word, but it's true. One thing to note--it does feel abrasive on the skin, and while I don't have sensitive skin and this works for me, it might be too harsh for people who have sensitive skin, or it might not work for people who have acne or blemishes and want to diminish them (I don't think it is intended to treat either of these). I'd definitely buy it again.

Yes, it does the job...with lots of rubbing and soaked cotton pads. In my opinion it's also very overpriced for the amount of product you get. It's too oily, and I end up having to wipe my eyes over and over to get the layer off. If this won't cause premature wrinkles and drooping around my eyes I don't know what will. I'd definitely recommend, in lieu of this product, the Neutrogena oil-free eye makeup remover--it's less oily, you get more for the price, and it doesn't require as much rubbing.

This is the first bottle I've tried and I have to say--I'm totally sold. It removes waterproof mascara (and everything else for that matter) better than other eye makeup removers I've tried and you get a lot in the bottle. I've also tried the Target version of this product and it's just as good.

Because non-waterproof mascaras always smudge under my eyes, I started using waterproof formulas exclusively. The one thing I always disliked about waterproof was that they are almost impossible to get off. I tried the LashBlast in non-waterproof AND waterproof and found that not only do NEITHER of them smudge, but that the waterproof was literally impossible to remove without considerable rubbing to the eye (hello, premature eye-aging), and the non-waterproof was incredibly easy to remove. Also the waterproof formula did not perform as well, in my opinion...it didn't give nearly as much volume. And it clumped. I noticed these considerable differences between the non-waterproof and waterproof LashBlash and definitely would go with the non-waterproof. I gave this a three because though it's not AWFUL, I wouldn't buy it again, especially with the amazing results I got from the non-waterproof version.
