let me preface this review by saying, a review merely of the price of the product does no good to anyone seeking a REVIEW OF THE PRODUCT. and the low points just drag down the average and sway people making a quick judgement. and i don't find anything overpriced about a 4 oz. tube that's $19, unless your a drugstore brand kind of person. (frederic fekkai's glossing cream is 4 oz. $20) Seta doesn't have the the best smell, but neither does Fekkai's. It matches but not mimicks that of the Jasmine line from Blandi. This cream works to give hair definition, shine and light texture. I use it when hair is towel-dried before blow drying and a little after at the ends of hair (for a slightly piece-y look). As with all silicone based products, too much will leave you greasy, that's obvious. But i really like the ingredients in Blandi's products and this one is no exception (olive oil, rice bran oil, geranium, aloe vera, chamomile, green tea, vitamin e, soybean oil, vitamin B5). When it comes to hair products, less is more, however the market is oversaturated with different versions of essentially the same thing. Shine and protect products come in different forms not different formulas. This plus a shine spray is really all you need for styling and protecting. It works like a leave-in (similar to Salerm-21 products) or a finishing product. On par with Fekkai's glossing cream, and i use them interchangeably when i get tired of one or the other.

this is a good shine spray. i say that flatly because essentially all shine products are the same, having some sort of oil or silicone base as the shine provider. that said, i use this one regularly because i love the smell of jasmine (used to live in jerusalem and it reminds me of my daily walks), it contains great ingredients beyond the typical dimethicone (rice bran oil, olive oil, vitamin e, wheat protein, vitamin B5, and jasmine extract) and the price/quantity ration is good. at $22 for 5 oz. it's a better than average deal in the world of designer serum products. (especially considering i used to use Ojon's Shine and Protect spray at $28 for 2oz). Obviously stay away from the Olio di Jasmine line of Blandi if you're not a fan of the jasmine scent (hate when reviews take away points and swing the average due the obvious). I use this in combination with Klorane's Dry shampoo when my hair is a few days old, (zap the oily roots with the dry shampoo) then use this lightly misted to give shine and slight definition. If you want more styling capabilities, use it's sister product "Seta" (italian for Silk) by Blandi. *my bottle has lasted 6 month of use!!

i love the product. great smelling, even slightly conditioning. the shine is nice, of course with all shine sprays there is a silicone ingredient that will make your hair oily (duh) if used too much, too close. But i have to say for a non-aerosol spray, the distribution is pretty great. i'm not sure i'm completely sold on the whole ojon gimmick (which i really really wanted to believe) , after a few of their products did nothing for my hair. but the price is outrageous for 2oz!! i prefer Oscar Blandi's Olio di Jasmine Shine Spray. 5 oz, $22. very similar product. totally different smell though.

which is not easy to come by with beauty products. I have a tendency towards oily roots, but washing my hair just because of my roots is too time consuming and potentially damaging to the rest of my hair (especially if a wash includes me drying with a round brush!!) therefore, this product is a great saver and an instant pick me up to dirty hair. it completely zaps the oil, and give volume which is nice for me, because even though i have thick hair, because it's heavy the crown tends to be flat. there is an obvious white residue after application that needs to be evenly distributed. you must use a good brush to brush it out (i use a boar brush) ; a comb for example, would never do. i love the brand, the ingredients and even the unique natural smell doesn't bother me. but for $16 a pop, it should last a lot longer, or be a bigger size. The 3,2 oz. can lasted me MAYBE a dozen times. i didn't use it for awhile, and when i picked it up again i was amazed at how light it was! almost gone after using it maybe 8 times. i got a few more sprays out of it and it was gone. and i obviously just do the roots ( i part them like i'm coloring my hair) :( This only applies to the aerosol version of course. i couldn't imagine using the loose powder though. but technically the product would be the same; the application a lot more messier. try it if the price really bothers you. for me living in france, it's about $11. :)

this is a cross between the #213 (flat, lay down color) and the #224 (crease, blending) brushes. so this is an obvious go-to for everyday. it's the single eye brush i carry on the go to do the job of lay down, crease, and blending. Perfect!

I love the two colors i own of this liner, "kitty" (matte intense turquoise) and "iceberg" (matte snow white). I love that the colors are super pigmented and matte. they wear really well on the inner rims of the eyes, even if my eyes get watery, they stay put. i find that they last better than average, of course still wearing off in the inner eye during the day, but what liner doesn't? i had to take away stars due to the insane price for a pencil! but other than that, the consistency is nice, goes on smooth but dries down.

this is the liquid liner of all liquid liners and i'd give it a full 10 stars if not for the horrible removal. it's a blessing and a curse really ,because that of course means it's got the most incredible wear. it will like other reviewers noted, stay on not only overnight, but for several days. I bought "Aqualine" an intense turquoise just before a month long vacation in Spain, and boy was it great to leave it on and go swimming 2-3 times a day everyday. looked amazing with a tan too! the colors are great, they are really vibrant. however i haven't bought more because for daily use, the removal fight would be annoying. even with my eye makeup remover, i have to scrub with a q-tip and still there are specks left...as well as in my eyes. it is a gooey formula, but it's not as horrible to apply as others have noted. really a little goes a long way , so for the price and size it's great. i can't imagine using it on the whole eye as a shadow as others have suggested...that would be pure h*ll to remove! so bottom line, if you're a swimmer or sports enthusiast this is the liquid liner for you...if not well then at least get a really strong remover (5 minutes just to remove eye makeup is a major deterrent for me!)

this brand is relatively unknown, due to i think poor distribution and maybe some worthless products. but Perdis' glosses are amazing. The Gloss Patrol line is exactly what you want your gloss to be : perfect consistency, perfect wear and great smell. there aren't that many colors however, but sometimes that's refreshing when we're inundated with products in the beauty market. with names after major cities (sydney, tokyo, dallas, cairo, paris, sao paolo)it also pleases the traveler in me. "Sydney" is a very opaque slightly mauvish pink. the glosses are superrrrr shiny and they color is exactly how they appear in the tube-very pigmented. make sure your lips are moisturized as the opaque colors don't tend to self-level. the lid is super secure, no leaking and a little goes a long way. good to know for the $20 price tag.

i'm not a major lipstick fan. my lips tend to be on the dryer side, and finish wise glosses are much more my thing. but MAC's selection of lipsticks are amazing. a color for everyone, a finish for everyone. slightly scented (vanilla frosting-esque) and recyclable (6 empty products = 1 free lipstick at any MAC counter). And there's always new colors coming out, just beware they might be limited edition. i'm attracted to nudes myself, but several MAC lipstick shades have veered me off that path. i love : "blankety" "cyber", "shrimplette" "myth""russian red"... they last well, as well as any lipstick would. if i used lipliner and blotted, i would probably get an even better result.

trademark MAC vanilla frosting smell. a bit tacky and not plumping at all for me anyway. expensive for it's small size. i bought a now discontinued color "Angel Cream". since it's gone, i have no reason to venture back to the product
