I have a few of these in my collection and I love them. They apply nicely, don't bleed, and I lick my lips all the time and it lasts very well considering. I think they are well worth the price, they last! They seem to have a high pigment content, but they leave my lips well moisturized, never dried out looking. I find I use Jungle Red most of the time, it's just lovely!

I have always heard that this was a great mascara. I first tried it about 25 years ago, all my friends were using it and I hated it. It flaked, ran, clumped, it did everything I didn't want a mascara to do for me. I had heard that the formula has changed over the years so I gave it another shot, I thought perhaps it had been improved. I was really disappointed to find that it was just as bad today as it was when I frist tried it years ago. I am not a makeup snob, but I will just keep using my L'Oreal Lash Out. For the money, Lash Out performs far better, and it isn't much more expensive.

I am always searching for products that will increase the health of my very oily skin, as well as exfoliate so my treatments will be more effective. I do like many Philosophy products so I tried this. Some of the reviews I read were kind of hit or miss, but everyone's skin reacts differently to all sorts of products. It didn't burn or sting, but I really didn't like the way my skin felt sticky after use. I had to wash my face about a half hour after using it because I didn't like the way my skin felt. It didn't really exfoliate as effectively as I would have liked, and it is rather expensive for the results I got when using it. It just isn't a product that worked for me. Perhaps someone with normal skin would see better results than I, but it isn't something I plan to repurchase.

I have been using prescription retiniods for years for my acne, and I always am on the look out for something I don't need a prescription for. I read a few very favorable reviews of Philosophy Help Me Retinol Treatment, so I decided to give it shot to see if it was effective as Retin A Micro. Sadly, it just didn't work out as well for me as I had hoped. It didn't help with my break outs, and it felt heavy and greasy on my skin. It is also kind of expensive and it just wasn't as effective as I had hoped. Perhaps someone who doesn't have acne would find it works better for them than I, but it just isn't a product I will repurchase. I went back to Retin A Micro, and sadly, it appears that I will be using prescription retinols instead of trying to find something that works as well for my breakouts. This product might work for someone with fine lines to boost collagen reproduction, but it isn't very effective with acne prone skin.

Philosophy When Hope Is Not Enough Facial Firming Serum
Philosophy When Hope Is Not Enough Firming and Lifting Serum
I prefer serums because conventional moisturisers are usually too heavy and wind up making my oily skin even greasier. I tried this out, and although it is light weight and absorbed quickly, I didn't really see any firming or lifting action. It is rather expensive, and I get better results with other serums that are less expensive. It is a nice lightweight moisturiser, just not a product that lived up to it's claims when it came to my skin. I read quite a few reviews before I tried it, and it really does seem to work well for others. I was a little disappointed because Philosophy makes quite a few products that really do work well for me.

I really like quite a few of Philosophy's products, but I wasn't really impressed with this particular eye cream. I didn't see much of a difference in the eye area, and it seemed to be a bit spendy for what it really does. I have had much better results from Garnier eye cream, at less than half the price.

Philosophy On A Clear Day Retinol Clarifying Lotion
Philosophy On A Clear Day Retinol Clarifying Lotion
I have really oily skin prone to breakouts. I have been using Retin A Micro for years, and I wanted to see if a product like this would work for me. It is really expensive, and I just didn't get the same results as I do with the Retin A Micro. I didn't see any real results, and I broke out jjust like I do when I don't use an acne treatment. I also found it just didn't help with exfoliation as the Retin A Micro does. If you are looking for a product to help stimulate collagen to fill in fine lines, this may work for you, but it really didn't affect my acne at all.

Philosophy The Present Clear Makeup
Philosophy The Present Clear Makeup Skin Perfector for Day and Night
I read a few reveiws of this, and decided to try it for myself. Philosophy The Present Clear Makeup Skin Perfector for Day and Night worked pretty good for me, and I am really oily, so anything that helps my cosmectics stay in place longer with fewer touch ups is really great for me. I have used it at night as well, it claims to help seal in your skin care treatments, while protecting your skin from enviornmental elements that can affect your skin. It seemed to make my skin less oily, but yet it didn't dry out my skin. When I have break outs, it seemed to make my skin smoother, so my cosmetics applied more smoothly. I only have to use a small amount of product too, it really spreads well, but I am rating it an 8 because it is a little pricey, and there are quite a few other products availiable that perform just as well, but are less expensive. It also doesn't have a sun screen so you have to use one in addition to this to protect your skin from the sun. I am a minimalist, so I would rather have a sunscreen incorporated into my primers as well.

Philosophy The Microdelivery Daily Exfoliating Facial Wash
Philosophy The Microdelivery Micro-Massage Exfoliating Wash
This is a very gentle exfoliating wash, I have oily skin, but this product is really gentle but also very effective. It doesn't over clean to the point of irritation. It is also very economical as well, it's lasts me over a month and I use it almost daily. The packaging can also be recycled, which is a big plus for me.

Redken recently revamped this line, this product is now called Color Extend Sun Sparkling Shield. While the orignal product was great, my clients who use it swear it is better yet. It is a leave in smoother with Redken's new Hydra Shield Complex, and it not only protects from the sun's harmful rays, it conditions the hair with it's use. It has mango oil which is quickly absorbed, and my clients tell me they use it sparingly as a smoothing treatment and to proctect their hair while heat styling. It also helps the hair from absorbing chemicals in pools or spas that would otherwise oxidize their hair color into that horrible green shade that chlorine can sometimes leave in your hair. The new formulation smells great, and when used as a serum it really adds shine and almost totally eliminates frizz. Protected hair is healthy hair, and this revamped line is a great line to use to maintain the health of your hair if you spend a lot of time in the sun or lying by, or swimming in a pool. This is a truly wonderful investment in the health of your hair, and it has some really great ingredients that not only protect, but can actually improve your hair.
