L'Oreal Paris HiP High Intensity Pigments Cream Shadow Paint
L'Oreal Paris HiP High Intensity Pigments Cream Shadow Paint
I had to try these the minute I saw them, and I was really impressed as they reminded me of MAC paints, but weren't as expensive. The brush that comes with it isn't that great, but I used an Urban Decay shadow brush and it applied like a dream. I use them as a base or primer for my eye shadow, and I am really impressed with the staying power. I am oily, and this didn't crease or fade or oxidized into some weid color. They are also easy to remove, no rubbing to get it all off, and I find it to be a very versatile produt. I love the nice shades, anyone could find on to suit them, and for drug store cosmetics, l'Oreal makes some really nice products. I am only giving it a 9 because of the crummy little brush, but if you have some good eye shadow brushes, use the. It make the application so much nicer.

I love palettes, and these palettes, tho a little spendy, are well worth every dime! The texture is lovely, and the colors are really pigmented, they wore incredibly beautiful even on my oily skin. The palette itself is really nice, the colors are beautifully coordinated, and they are very workable and blendable. This comapny made a real winner with these, and if I use it up, I plan on buying another, they are divine!

I thought this would be better for me than Hard Candy Hint Tint, I am really oily, and I usually use MMU, and Hint Tint didn't work that well, so I gave this a shot. I wasn't impressed at all. It applied really blotchy with the sponge applicator, so I tied it again using a foundation brush, and it still didn't apply well at all. After a few hours, I had to touch it up. I used a brush, and it became not only blotchier, but really cakey. I tried a blotting paper and it didn't help. It was almost as if you could see it settling into my pores on my nose, chin, and cheeks. I think it may work for someone with normal skin, but I have a feeling it would look crepey or emphasize dry skin. It's on sale everywhere, so it isn't that expensive, the compactis really cute, but the sponge applicator that comes with it isn't very good, and even using a good foundation brush didn't make it apply better. It applied even more blotchy when I used a foundation primer.

I sampled this at Sephora, and was given a deluxe sample to try at home. I am really glad I didn't buy it tho. It doesn't really come in a lot of believables shades. After a couple of hours, it oxidized on my oily skin into a color I can only describe as an awful orange fake tan looking mess. It didn't wear well for me, and I used blotting papers because I was afraid if I powdered it, it would look more cakey than it already did, and it still looked cakey and blotchy. The container is nice, and it's on sale everywher, but for me, it just wasn't worth full retail because it just isn't that great of a product. Perhaps it would work better for someone with normal or dry skin, but it doesn't work well for oily skin at all.

I liked these when I saw them at Sephora, played with a couple there just to see if I liked them They did a really nice job coordinating the colors, so I got 2 of them. After using them both a few times, I was really disappointed, pigmentation wasn't as good as the older Hard Candy shadows and even with an eye shadow primer they really didn't last. I had to really work on them too in order to get them to blend, even with my good brushes. The palette is cute, and they weren't really expensive, but if they aren't on sale, they just aren't worth full retail.

I first tried this when I received a sample at Sephora, and it was love at first scent! I usually like orientals, but I am so hooked on this floral! It fades nicely on me, like baby powder and lilies, and I have received many compliments on this scent when I wear it. My mom, who doesn't wear fragrance even commented on how nice it smelled on me, a big first. I love the arty packaging, the bottle is adorable, it wears very well, I didn't have to reapply it during the day, and for a fine fragrance such as this, it was well worth the cost. It's a great summer fragrance, it reminds me of lilies, one of my favorite flowers.

I thought I would give this a shot, I am really oily and I usually use a MMU, like UD Surreal Skin. Oil-free foundation in a liquid form would be nice, I am really oily. I wasn't impressed with the color selection, most of them just aren't believable, and I picked up the color I thought was pretty close to my skin tone. I applied it over Smashbox foundation primer, and this product just didn't blend well at all. I tried to use it without a primer, and I still couldn't get it to blend well. I ended up looking rather splotchy and it just didn't wear very well at all. After a couple of hours, it looked like a peachy awful shade. The container is nice, but the product just isn't for me. It is rather inexpensive, but I returned it.

I have tried the other Jane MMU in the pot, and just like the pot type, this also oxidized on my very oily skin. The brush is crummy, I prefer a pot and use a NARS bronzer brush, but just like the potted form, instead of glowing, it had far too much sheen. The packaging is crummy, you can't tell if it is pumping through the container, and when it does, it just flies all over. The price isn't to spendy, Jane is known for some nice inexpensive products, but this went right back to the store.

I had to try this product out, the concept sounds wonderful. I wanted to like it, but it just isn't a product for me. The smell is terrible, and it kind of irritated my eyes. I tried to use it as a base for my normal mascara, Exceptionnel De Chanel, and it made a non-flaking mascara flake awful! This didn't hold a curl either. The packaging is just normal mascara packaging, the brush is ok, and it was very inexpensive, but just not a product I will try again.

My skin is really oily, and I have been using UD Surreal Skin MMU, but I thought I would give this a shot. It isn't expensive, it has a great container, and the sifter is functional. All that aside, it comes in some great colors, has a nice texture, but it does have a little shimmer, and I wanted it to look glowy, not shiny. I used a NARS bronzer brush for application, and it was a little shiny, but it did give me great coverage without looking cakey. However, the longer I had it on, the more it oxidized with the oily on my skin and it turned a little orange, not quite the look I as looking for, and it continued to get shinier throughout the day. Not a good one for me. I am just going to stick with the UD for now. It does come in some great believable colors, and I did find one that is a dupe for the UD i have been using, and it would be great for someone with normal skin. It appears kind of crepey on dry skin, but it didn't break my heart, it isn't that expensive, off to the swap box it goes.
