Around your Birthday, if you're on the list, you get a free beauty treat from Sephora. This year were some eye make-up goodies. The mascara (volume black) was similar to drug store mascaras in my opinion. I don't regularly wear mascara, so I'm not the person to really ask but the mascara seemed to coat my lashes without clumping, and it seemed to blacken my lashes all evening. It came off easily with cream cleanser. I don't have any complaints. It was a good free mascara.

This hand wash was a sale item and smells like a delicious dessert. My hands aren't particularly soft after using it but it gets my hands clean and it really does smell like smooth, lemon custard. It is pricey though so purchase it only when there's some sort of deal.

Let's face it. We all like to have soft, moisturized lips. A fun, minty flavor and a decent price is an extra benefit! I can wear this classic product under a lip color and my lips feel wonderfully soft and kissable. And I got it for roughly a dollar at a local grocery store!

After cleansing with the Cashmere Mist cleanser, the next perfect layer is the lotion. I love how the floral is subtle and hidden by the amber and musk so that you feel so sexy and warm. It's like being surrounded by a warm, soft, lightly fragrant cashmere sweater. Mmmm. I can't stop smelling my clothes.

The fragrance is soft and musky and the creamy cleanser leaves my skin soft with a hint of perfume. It's perfect for layering. The amber and musk leave you feeling sexy and like you want to beg for hands to caress you. I love the way my clothes smell after its use.

Many have said that this scent is light but that has not been my experience. I find the powder scent so strong, I can hardly be in the same room as another woman who has sprayed it. After awhile tough, she just smells like a woman wearing a generic perfume. After it has a chance to settle, the iris settles too.

I smelled this around several men who agreed with me. Pink Sugar smells like a carnival next to a cotton candy stand. Pink Sugar smells like pink sugar on a stick. The name is very appropriate and not something that a woman over nineteen should wear unless she finds cotton candy, vanilla, and caramel enticing. It scares me actually. Are they marketing perfume to 10-year-olds?

I tested this oil at Sephora and found the scent revolting. I think the oil sat too long on the shelf and had too many hands sample it so time and bacteria must've turned it rancid. Too bad. I would like to give an honest review of the product.

Curious about the many Pacifica scents available, I approached the table at a local Sephora to sniff them all. I discovered that the Gardenia was much too strong, the Blood Orange was too subtle, and the Guava too sweet, but the Indian Coconut Nectar was gorgeous. It smelled warm and naturally fresh I bought a set that included a rollerball, a body butter, and a body wash for under twenty dollars. Under the tree it will go.
