Put a drop of vanilla behind each ear? Well, you COULD or you could blend it with a couple things like lemon and lavender. But for some reason MAC needs to add vanilla to everything, so the vanilla bourbon and vanilla mousse didn't surprise me. It was just too much vanilla for my taste. Try it. You may like it. Or you might find that you smell like tonight's dessert.

I didn't find this perfume totally original or exotic but it was likable, a fresh and green scent that blended bergamot, lilies, and jasmine with vanilla, sandalwood, and musk. It was light and could be worn both day and night. The price was quite reasonable too.

This scent by MAC, MV:3, is a dark and sexy scent for an evening out. The jasmine and bergamot mix with woods, vanilla, and amber, and even leather to make a rich fragrance that smells like an evening by the fire. It is not a girl's perfume but a woman's for sure.

When the MAC consultant told me the inexpensive price of this perfume, I was floored. Now it's only 20ml so it's a tiny amount of perfume, but even so, the cedar was pleasantly blended with fresh lotus leaves and orris. I crack up at the name which is a blend of turquoise and aquatic. What a perfect blend for summer.

I took a whiff of this MAC scent at the MAC counter the other night and all I could think of for a review would be sweet, girly, floral, not for me, and NOT sexy. But I'm in my 40's so I'm not a proper judge of a fragrance that is probably meant for a woman half my age. So like all fragrances, if the scent appeals to you, try it on your skin and go from there.

A MAC rep used this on my lips prior to testing a lip color on me. It moisturized and left me with smooth lips that took the color perfectly. When I read the ingredients however, my stomach dropped. Along with almond oil and Shea butter, this product has wheat germ oil, and for those of us who are sensitive to gluten, this is not good news. If you are not sensitive to gluten, the product is great at preparing your lips for make-up. Otherwise, stick with Vaseline or Burt's Bees.

Eighteen dollars is a little steep for forty-five uses, but even for those with reactive skin, you will sleep comfortably if you're in a bind. The wipe felt cool on my face, getting me to ponder what it would feel like after refrigeration hmmm, and it really did not strip or irritate my skin at all. My face was left clean and soft.

I never got the hang of applying powder blush so I didn't use it. Now, with a dryer, older complexion, I thought I'd try the Cream Blush. It looked very natural, like a light flush. (I got Brit Wit) The cream blended naturally into my skin, was still there several hours later, and I didn't empty my wallet for the look.

21 colors to choose from? There's bound to be a shade of this MAC lipstick that appeals to you. Party Line, the reddish plum lipstick from the Cremesheen line, was not only a color that brightened my face, but it was also moisture rich and had a subtle sheen to it. I felt like this lipstick dressed me for a party. How wonderful that MAC lipsticks are under fifteen dollars.

I went to Nordstrom last night to try a MAC lipstick and got a whole makeover. When I was done, I bought it all because I've never looked so good. Really. Now I may not be able to apply the products like the saleswoman did but last night, but this nonirritating,light-feeling, medium coverage foundation (NC25) created a beautiful face looking at me from the mirror and begging for a photo op. I have sensitive-reactive skin, but this foundation felt very comfortable and soft to the touch.
