After years of tortured searching for a foundation that wouldn't flake off my very dry face, including all of the MAC products, I gave up on foundation for years. My 30s were makeup-less. Turning 40, I realized my makeup optional days were numbered and returned to the hunt. Everything still flakes. Except Chanel Vitalumiere. Moisturizing, non-flaking, can't feel it, perfect blending. The coverage is good too. I barely need any concealer. My only issue was that it might melt in the summer, but then Chanel released Vitalumiere Aqua. Perfect!

The fragrance was interesting and nice in the sample, but awful on me. I sprayed my wrists during lunchtime shopping, and wore it for a while to smell the entire cycle. When I returned to the office, the first thing I did was wash my wrists, repeatedly. It just did not work with my body chemistry. I much prefer the original Coco by Chanel, or Miss Pucci if I'm looking for a floral. Coco Mademoiselle isn't a bad fragrance, but very context dependent, like many fragrances.

This cleanser gets my face reasonably clean without drying it out. I wish it had more lather, and cleaned a bit deeper. It doesn't damage over the long-term, which may be the best aspect. The scent is light, almost non-existent. I'm not sure how much better it is than other gentle cleansers.

This is my go-to lipstick. It's hydrating, so my lips fell smooth and healthy. The colors are beautiful but natural. It's sheer, but not too sheer. I don't like lipstick that might as well be chapstick. My only quibble is that the shimmer of my hue might be a little too much for my daytime, but not by much. Otherwise, it's a good answer for natural+ lips.
